We bought Salt & Stone deodorant, and within less than a month, it completely damaged our clothes. The oils from the deodorant left very visible stains that won’t come out, making several items u... See more

Tried the liquid bath soap
Tried the liquid bath soap. Good lather, but no fragrance whatsoever. Didn't leave me feeling clean or fresh. Too expensive and poor results.

So sorry I spent money on the discovery deodorant set. Not one of the scents lasted for more than 10 minutes and left stains on my blouses. Ruined my clothes and had to throw out both the deodorants and my blouses. Don't fall for the false hype!
Works very well for me, best non-aluminum deodorant have ever tried
I do question if the product is really all natural without any harmful ingredients, but for me, this deodorant works incredibly well and in hot summer I won't smell all day, and I love the scent. The scent is strong though, and stronger than I expect from something natural. However, I do love all the scents. I also find that it blocks sweating kind of like an anti-perspirant despite being a deodorant.
DEORDIRANT - nil point
I have to say, the deodorant stick just doesn’t work, end of. I’ve abandoned it for a cheap Aldi one, what does that say?
Scents are beautiful flops.
This is my first, and LAST time using the products from Salt and Stone. I ordered the body wash and scent spray. Sayatal and Vertifer the body wash is adequate, but really nothing worth what I paid. I can buy a 5 to 10 dollar wash that does the same thing. If there are essential oils in the ingredients they are in such insignificant amounts that there is no lingering fragrance. I at least expected the scent in the body Mist to last longer. Within an hour the scent is gone. Again not worth the inflated value indicated. They sent a sample of body lotion and deodorant which was thoughtful but again same issue. Not long lasting. I regret spending the money on such an inferior over hyped product. I am not going to seek a refund but I will spread the word about my experience. I have essential oils that last all day. The packaging is classy, but this seems to be what you are paying for.
Smells lush.
This product smells lovely when my daughter gave me a hug she could smell it said l smell lovely. Customer service team were great the first deodorant have a chip in the plastic and they sent another straight away without any hassle. Would definitely recommend.
Terrible Product!
The product is easily the worst deodorant I've ever tried. It caused a lot of pain simply from the application because it is so gritty. An hour after application and my armpits are on fire and smell like I didn't use a thing. Avoid this overpriced junk.

I AM SO UPSET I PAID 20 DOLLARS FOR THIS DEODORANT. I HAD A VERY IMPORTANT ENGAGEMENT DINNER AND 2 HOURS IN I SMELLED LIKE A LINEBACKER THAT HAD BEEN WRESTLING ALL DAY BECAUSE THIS PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK AND NOT WORTH 20 DOLLARS
Return policy stinks
My bad for not reading the return policy. No opened products can be returned? Since I can't physically smell before ordering how do I know if I will like it or not. The products all had a faint scent barely detectable. In fact, they are so faint I can hardly detect myself let alone someone else commenting on them. Now I'm stuck with product I don't like. Very bad business practice in my opinion.
Works fine but....
Product works fine for me - no more smelly pits after a hard day at work. That's the good bit.
Costly for what it is in comparison to other products, but the biggest problem was the subscription. Paid for an order on 17th June which never arrived. Month later I've cancelled the subscription and being given the runaround by their customer services.
Shame really as its the first issue I had but not dealt with well in my opinion. Good bit is I've bought it cheaper in the UK via Amazon and it was with me the next morning!
Salt & Stone have, to be fair refunded me in full for my missing order.
Awful Product, even worse Customer Service!
I received their natural deodorant in my GQ summer box (2025), and unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. After applying it to my skin and then slipping into my Sunspel T-shirt, I discovered an unsightly dried stain near the armpits that simply wouldn’t budge.
When I reached out to their customer service, the representative acknowledged that their product can occasionally leave marks, depending on skin chemistry and fabric type—something that should be clearly noted on the label (or website). While they offered the standard "let's make this right" response, a mere £3 discount code scarcely compensates for the trouble.
Having read numerous negative reviews and experiencing firsthand the combination of a subpar product and unsatisfactory customer service, I truly hope that more people recognise this and think twice before investing in overpriced brands like Salt & Stone.

Reacted badly over six months to the deodorants. I had bought most of them. There was no advice that this included bicarb of soda which I think having ruled out all other things was the cause of the reaction?
Need medication to calm the reaction & I stopped
using the product and now skin has settled after much pain and discomfort.
Waste of money
Someone relatively famous, whose name I forget, said in New York magazine that Salt & Stone products were the best. Now I’m wondering if he was paid for this?
I ordered both the Vetiver and Bergamot body washes. There was hardly any odor when applying either one, and the pump was a pain to use. It was sudsy but that was it, so I’m paying dearly for liquid soap. I also ordered the face wash and deodorant, both of which were incredibly ineffective. Threw it all away.
Best deodorant EVER
So it was 118° yesterday and 98% humidity.
We all were sniffing our pits at work as it wasn't exactly conducive to smelling great....except my one coworker asked me what I used as she stuck her nose beside me and said DAMN YOUR PITS SMELL AMAZING!!!!!!
Hinoki and Bergamot!
Sticky Glue like Waste of money
I got the Black Rose and Oud deodorant stick and have to say it is the WORST stick I have ever bought.
You cannot get the plastic cover off without ripping half of the stick away it is then sticky and glue like with a tacky texture.
I regret spending any money on this let alone buying 2 of them. (both the same)
Save your money and dont bother, what a waste.
I ordered some deodorant and I wrote…
I ordered some deodorant and I wrote them to cancel after few hours from ordering. They said it’s not possible as they already processed my order. They mentioned I will be able to return after I receive the products.
The parcel has arrived and I have never opened and contacted them how I can return the order because the return process didn’t work on the website.
I have returned the products and they were delivered to them on 6th May. I still have not received my refund and they avoid to reply back to my email.
I have escalated this matter with my bank!!!
I want my refund ASAP!!!
I threw away the deodorant
I threw away the deodorant. It made me stink. And I don’t stink. How can something that is supposed to make you smell nice, make you smell worse, when your natural smell is neutral? Just ew.
Products do NOT work!
First, I never write reviews, like ever. But I felt compelled to write this to save someone from purchasing this product. I ordered the S&S Vetiver/Santal deodorant and body mist combo. They smell lovely in their packaging, but as other reviewers noted, the fragrance lasts about 5-10 minutes on your body. The deodorant does not work, like at all. And the deodorant stains clothing, for example making dark spots in the under arm area of dark-colored shirts (shirts are totally ruined btw). I went back to my original product. Truly disappointing. Don't fall for the marketing! It's a lie.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews
I'm surprised by the negative reviews, as I recently purchased this deodorant and have been genuinely impressed by how effective it is. Even after wearing a fitted t-shirt for a couple of days, there's no trace of body odour — just a subtle, pleasant scent of bergamot and hinoki. It far outperforms any high street deodorant I’ve used. I’ll definitely be repurchasing and look forward to trying more from the range.
Would give negative stars if possible
Would give negative stars if possible. I didn’t even order anything, was only considering ordering and the site pushed my order through. I got an email from them and immediately contacted them telling them I didn’t authorize this and to please cancel. I contacted them within 10 mins of it happening and they dangled getting back to me and only in email. They said they can’t cancel but I have 30 days to return. What?! It was not authorized for you to run my card! Now I am bringing my bank into this and opening a fraud case against them. Furthermore, the phone number I found (not on their website, because they are shady) was actually a phone number to a restaurant with the same name. Spoke with the manager there and she said she has been getting lots of calls from people looking for this company and wanting to cancel an order but they listed a fraudulent number. This poor other business getting all these calls. They said they are upset and so tired of it. Meanwhile, there is no phone number for them listed, which is on purpose, obviously. I’m pissed enough to open a small claims against them over this. After reading about other’s experiences, I see I am not alone. This company needs to be sued. They will have to deal with a small claims case now.
