Not For Bikers!
I’m sharing this review after attempting to contact Saint twice via email with no response.
I was involved in a motorbike accident at approximately 45 km/h, which resulted in five fractures to the head of my humerus. At the time of the crash, I was wearing the Saint Engineered Classic Jacket with armour, along with riding jeans.
Unfortunately, the level of protection provided by the jacket was disappointing. The armour felt undersized and did not offer sufficient impact protection given the relatively moderate speed of the accident and the severity of the injuries sustained. Based on this real-world experience, I would consider the jacket’s protective performance to be poor, particularly for riders who prioritise safety for on-road riding.
What was especially concerning is that while the riding jeans were heavily scratched, the standard Levi’s denim worn underneath only had a small hole, which raised questions about abrasion resistance compared to everyday clothing.
I want to be clear that I genuinely like Saint as a brand and chose this gear for its design and aesthetic. However, based on this experience, I would not recommend this jacket to riders who rely on their gear primarily for protection.
