Phone received 5/4/19 and confirmation payment would be paid in 24 hours 10th still nothing.

iphone 7 received by RPC on Friday 05 April, obviously after evaluation they have cut the offered price, I have accepted (being concerned that they would send me back same iphone with changed parts in it) and since then nothing. So my rubbish experience with this rubbish company is a once in a lifetime, never ever. 8 days and still no confirmation or payout. Run like hell from them. Bunch of scammers

I sent my Samsung Galaxy S8 to them in their packaging and receipt of it was acknowledged. A few days later I got a further email telling me that it had been accepted and met their terms & conditions. I continued in saying I’d receive another email with 24 hours confirming payment has been made. This was on a Thursday. On Friday I waited the required 24 hours and nothing. As it was a weekend I had to wait until Monday.

Monday I phoned and asked where my payment was. The agent didn’t know and said it was a straight forward case but he’d investigate and would get back to me in 24-48 hours. He assured me I’d be paid that day. Tuesday arrives, no payment. Another phone call, this time I’m told that payment had been twice attempted but had failed, however, not to worry manual transfer would happen that afternoon and it would be in my account by the days end.

Wednesday, no payment and yet another 2 phone calls. The 2nd phone call consists of me pointing out they were in breach of their own T & Cs and unless payment was in my account within 24 hours I’d want my phone back. As I had taken photos of the EMEI number and serial number, I pointed out I’d know if it was mine. Remarkably, around 45 minutes later the money was in my account and an email had been sent confirming payment.

I used this company as they promised payment in a day or two. Obviously, they are unable to live up to this commitment. The hassle to get payment isn’t worth the little extra payment they offer.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

It's taken 22 days to get the money for my iPhone 7, so if your are in a hurry for the money I would use another company. It's taken being on the phone approximately 2 hours about 6 emails none of which have been answered to my satisfaction. But today on day 22 of them having my phone I got a cheque from them

Avoid at all costs! Still waiting to receive my payment! They have had my iPhone 7 for over 3 weeks. I’ve emailed several times to which the first reply was, they will try and get the payment resolved in 48 hours (it’s now been 4 days). They are now just ignoring me. They also reduced the payment saying it was badly scratch when it was immaculate! Always had a case on. Please, please avoid!!

Please trust the reviews shared giving this company and service one star...I am in the middle of exactly the same service. Price reduced by 25% due to 'scratches' - there weren't any - but for convenience I accepted the reduced price and it has now been 3 weeks and still no payment. Avoid.

Sent my phone over 2 weeks ago, been told it’s been accepted but still waiting for payment. Phoned 4 times and keep being told wait 24 hours. Not acceptable when the phone is worth over £300!

Terrible. I paid £8 for next day delivery and they said on their website they will pay within 1-2 days of receiving item and i have waited over a week. I have called up 6 times and sent over 8 emails with no response. The man on the phone said that the accounts have transferred payment but still i have not received anything. They keep saying wait 24 hours every day and its getting irritating. Terrible service and company. Please be cautious and dont use them

I have been waiting for payment for nearly a week. Four phone calls and still nothing. This delay is preventing me getting my new phone as I don’t trust I’ll get the payment soon. Very poor. Won’t be using again.

Excellent service, fast, efficient , no hassle

I sent RPC my phone & I paid the postage wanted to be sure it got there safe & sound! first time I heard from them was saying we have received your phone & this will progress in the system and you could get your money after 1-2 days after being checked & valued, 2 days later got another email saying there were scratches on the screen & reduced my payment amount by 25%, I did call them and ask for pictures of this damage which were never sent to me! I accepted their reduced amount as I was not sure how well they would return the phone to me!

Once I accepted their offer it took 7 days & 3 phone calls to get my reduced cash amount!

They do have a customer service number but this closes before the accounts dept so you can't get updates very well!

Only good thing I found was a bloke called Graham in Customer Service who I spoke to & he kept his word unlike the other times I called & he called me back to confirm payment had been made!

I would not use tis company again

Phone approved on 29th March still no email confirming money transfer despite two emails requesting update

So I sent the phone off as it stated £240.00 received an email to say they had found a deep scratch and and markings on the corners. Because of this they reduced it to £168.00. I confirm the phone was in prestige condition and if they was any marks on it you would of needed an enhanced magnifying glass from nasa to find them. I then had to wait for the money to be paid in. I contacted them by phone and each time got contradictory information. I asked why the money was not in my account as originally advertised and he was waffling on about procedures in place. It was really flat customer service I have never had this experience with their competitors and will not use again. Terrible service.

Quoted a price for phone. Phone was in excellent condition yet they claimed it was worth only 70 % of quoted price.

Great communication and quickly paid the amount promised (better price than I found anywhere else). Can not recommend highly enough.

I sent my phone off the same normal that was easy but when it came to getting the money I still haven't got it I have sent off two emails asking where my money is but still have no answer from them, or get the money from them

I'd sent my phone off to another company who had told me it was faulty and tried to reduce the amount they paid. RPC recycling were fast, efficient and professional! I'll use them again for any recycling needs. :)

Sent of a practically new unused iPhone 8 and was quoted £320. When they got it they said the screen was scratched however it was not and they offered me £200!!!! Refused and waiting for phone back. Luckily i took photos before sending. What a bad company.
