Genuinely appalling distributor

You will likely never ever hear from their support team they do NOT care about the artists and should not be used I have support tickets dated 6 months and a fellow producer of mine has a 2 year old ticket they still haven’t responded to use any other distributor because you likely won’t get paid either without reporting them and kicking up a fuss!

Edit: the route note team state it’s unlikely yet their are countless accounts of the same thing happening to me online where people are unable to get responses to tickets I opened my first ticket in October last year and it still hasn’t even been read I will provide screenshots to prove this is the route note team are going to gaslight people they have mistreated 😅

My 2nd Review

Heyy 2nd review again. I submitted a Content Mapping Request because my YouTube Topic channels were duplicated and the releases were mapped wrong.

Support got back to me and sent the request to YouTube. After some waiting, the issue finally got fixed and the duplicate Topic channels were merged correctly under my artist name.

Took a bit of time but it got resolved in the end. Everything is now correct. 💫

Support is nonexistent

They take over a week to respond to support emails, and when they finally do they tell you to use their AI assistant or submit another support ticket, which would lead to another week+ of waiting for a response. The AI assistant tells you to email support, who tells you to use the AI assistant... Support doesnt even read emails, instead they just look for keywords and copy paste responses. Their support is basically nonexistent.

Edit: lmao I see they replied and still didnt read my whole message even on here! Routenote, I am trying to tell you that your AI assistant doesn't work, it tells you to email support directly.

Great Distributor

I´m glad this distributor still has a free plan so all musicians/compositors can have an oportunity in this world. Also Rowan and Routenote/Soundclouud Support Team were the best helping me with some problems .

Dreadful

Dreadful. Album uploaded with a lead time for sales of 3 weeks to get through whatever process they think is 'moderation'. After a month it is still not released. The time taken to respond to 'support' requests is equally abysmal. I wish I had gone with another aggregator for the 30 albums I have released through this epically underperforming company.

Subject: Formal Complaint: Deliberate Sabotage, Financial Fraud, and Intimidating Threats by RouteNote
​I am filing this formal complaint against RouteNote for intentional sabotage of my musical career and predatory practices. Evidence from my case and a growing list of victims confirms that RouteNote is engaging in systematic artist exploitation.
​1. Primary Case Analysis (Surx Studio):
​Artist: Masud Mia (Surx Studio)
​The Incident: My original tracks were held hostage for over 30 days with zero communication from the RouteNote team. When I finally demanded immediate action (Release or Delete), RouteNote chose to Delete the tracks instead of releasing them.
​The Core Question of Fraud: If your system had the immediate technical capability to Delete my content instantly, why was there no "capability" to Release it during those 30 days? This proves the delay was a deliberate act of sabotage.
​Threats & Intimidation: Instead of compensating me for this documented loss, RouteNote responded to my claims with direct threats. Using intimidation to silence an artist is a criminal breach of trust.
​2. Evidence of Systemic Misconduct (Extensive Victim List):
Below is a summarized list of 10 recent victims. Please note: I have a much larger list of additional victims and evidence beyond these 10 names, which will be submitted to the authorities.

I am escalating this matter to Action Fraud (UK) and the CMA. Furthermore, I am officially filing a complaint with the legal compliance departments of Apple Music and Spotify to demand a full review and revocation of RouteNote's distribution license due to these fraudulent actions and their refusal to compensate for the damages caused.

I need urgent support

I need urgent support, I tookdown a release and it got removed from all store's, and then for no reason the release went back live after a month of removal, without informing, I already uploaded and I don't want to get duplicate issues cause I already rebranded, please takedown it immediately, thank you.

They actually BAN you for no reason

Submitted my release, and after 6 weeks—complete silence. When I finally contacted support, I was met with an absurd response: “Your album has been rejected, and your account is no longer allowed to release music.”

Easily the worst distributor I’ve ever dealt with. Just seeing their brand name is enough to irritate me, so don’t bother replying to this review.

Long waiting times and no reply on tickets

Adding my song to the system went fine, except for the fact they don't accept JPEG files which I found quite odd but simply used a converter. I submitted my song and I've waited more than 25 working days and unfortunately my song has not been approved. 3 days ago I submitted a ticket to the team to ask how long I should wait and if this is normal. No reply yet. The truth is that I really don't want to have to wait so long for every song. But since I've already submitted my song and I can't cancel it without submitting another ticket unfortunately I can't submit my song to another platform instead. Quite frustrating, I really would like to use another service instead.

Update: Dissaproved with no specific reason. Moved to LANDR and got approved in Less than 24 hours.
