Very easy to book online, and the Alamo desk in Dusseldorf airport was directly outside of the arrivals gate.
The process at the desk was fine, however everyone should be aware of the usual "pressure" that all car hire firms try to place on customers, saying that they don't have the correct insurance cover, would they like an upgrade etc etc.
My experience is that this is very similar no matter what company you are picking up from, and I'm glad to say that on this occasion I did not experience this (but I could overhear the same conversation next to me).

Worst experience in my life ! I had paid my rental car with my credit-card the day before, first indication was nor the right bus, nor the correct location.
Once I arrived you talk to a screen, and my credit card had not been acceoted, as their system did it recognize only as a debit card. Coming from France to rent a car...what if there would not have been a friend who could oick me up after a 2 hours wait! You get what you pay for..extremely low-cost.I learnt my lesson! Never again ! TO AVOID !!!!

our flight was delayed - when we wanted to pick up our rental car they said we are too late - so we had to get a car from Avis where all the service was to our satisfaction - we learnt from that experience ans will not use Spanish rental car companies anymore

When I reserved, my contract said I paid in full and had a $0 balance. Then I got my car rental, they charged me $50.63 . The support team has ghosted me after many attempts on my part to send in all my info. Never rent from them.

I was skeptical at first, but the experience was positive. Rates were lowest I was able to find anywhere. Will gladly use again!
Had a bit of a rough start with my booking , didn't get a confirmation email and my credit card got charged without confirmation. Had to get in touch with Hertz directly to verify that the booking was legit, which was a bit of a hassle. BUT, once I did, their support team was on it and sorted everything out quickly. Multiple follow ups to make sure everything was okay, which was nice. Just a bit of a rocky start, but all's good that ends good, I suppose.

Rented a car for Lamezia Terme Airport. Easy to use website. But the reseveration did not smoothly process between ReservAway and Hertz. Had to fill out a handwritten contract in italian at the counter.

Made a reservation and did not receive a confirmation email even a day later. Looked up my order number on the website and the system could not find it. Tried to chat and no agent available for two days in a row, even though system said they were online. :(. Will now have to dispute the fees with cc company and make a reservation with a different company.
Update: they were kind enough to respond to my review and they had indeed emailed me, it went to my spam email. All is good. I have yet to see what the rental experience is like, but so far I am impressed that they reached out and the company is legit. :). Thank you reservAway.

I didn't realise that I had a confirmed booking because it went into my spam folder and there was no information to advise me on their booking page to look out for this. I observed a charge from them in my bank account for a lesser amount and was worried. I contacted my bank and asked them to put a hold on the payment. My bank pointed out that they are in the UK and I am in Melbourne, Australia. Communication with this company is by Chatbot or email. I then found a better car and a better deal and asked them to cancel, as I had concerns about support should I need it.
I tried cancelling online by logging into my booking, and it wouldn't let me. I then tried on my phone, and the system would not let me cancel the booking. I was back to emailing and Chatbot. Finally, a guy named Harry came into the chat and harassed me about cancelling my booking. It wasn't worth the hassle and the time they wasted of mine was not only excessive and frustrating, but completely exhausting.

The PRICE! I must say I had never heard of this company and I was very skeptical. Without a doubt I will try this company again. Everything was great including pick-up and drop-off. Btw I picked up the car in one state and dropped it off in another without any extra charges.
