A repair to our Rangemaster Induction Cooker turned into somewhat of a slog unfortunately. It took three visits (spreading over more than a month) and a variety of PCBs to fix the problem. It appeared very much trial and error. The engineer was a nice guy and tried to be as helpful as he could. However, there did seem to be a complete lack of correct diagnosis resulting in endless phone calls to Repairtech service centre. The lass at the centre, Samantha Ward, was brilliant and extremely efficient, especially at refunding the enormous costs of the unused circuit boards. I have given a two star rating as this reflects the lack of speedy diagnosis and effective repair. It does not reflect the service I received from Samantha Ward. That would be five stars!! All that said, we now have a fully working cooker and have been fully refunded for the unused PCBs. Thank you.
Kind regards, Roger.

I paid £180 for a engineer to come out, when I received the quote it was for over £900 and a list of several items were faulty, I was given 72 hrs to make a decision whether to go through with the repair, I asked for a proper breakdown of why he thought those parts had gone and how he tested them which they couldn’t give me, As a gas engineer myself I thought I’d have a look at my induction hob and within a couple of minutes I found a loose connection and once I fixed it the hobs been working perfectly.
I have asked this company twice for my £180 back which has fallen on deaf ears, personally I wouldn’t trust them.

Avoid if actually want a repair. Paid £240 on Tues lunchtime and promised an engineer would be in touch in 1 to 2 days to fix broken Aga.
Emailed office on Thurs for update and no response.
Phoned Fri lunch and told top priority. Asked for an update by end of day, which seemed like too much trouble.
3.5 days later, this company has my money, but have not delivered an engineer or had the decency to provide any update.
EDIT - see the response below. Your engineer simply turned up mid-pm without giving any indication of what time he would be coming. He said we could re-arrange a visit with the office, but then office pointed us to Ts and Cs (that you broke in the first place). From when paid to when you finally could offer an engineer, is just as well we found another solution to get the oven started.

Update 19th August: No parts have yet turned up and I have noticed that this was not a one-off. Most recent negative reviews have reported very similar scenarios.
I have decided to forward my case now to Trading Standards, as Repairtech Services makes no effort with customer service and just charges people upfront and twice for a nonexistent service. Very disappointed.
Encouraged by the good reviews here and Aga's recommendation, I ordered 2 small parts for my Aga masterchef (a hinge and hob element) and paid in full in advance for parts and the engineer to come out and fit (giving the serial number and sending a few photos - what can go wrong - right). An engineer came out, but he only had one wrong hinge with him and nothing for the hob.
The door until his visit was slightly wonky. He took the whole door off and the hooked the faulty hinge back in, but in the process destroyed the other one. Now the door is much worse than before the visit.
We left it that he needed to come back with the correct part.
To my surprise, I have now been quoted 2 call out charges and 2 x all the parts. I feel very cheated.
Have requested the initial parts to be sent to me and try to find another fitter (with my luck with them they will now probably be wrong, too). But have lost all confidence in this company and won't use them again. No point throwing good money after bad. Surprised about the other good reviews here - must have been very unlucky!
Asked for help with circuit board for 7yr old Fridge Freezer. Supplied the exact part and quickly with great coms. Thank you.

UPDATE: Fair play to Repairtech, following this review they sent an engineer round who was fantastic and sorted out the issue within a few hours and it has all been working great since then. Appreciate the speed and way they dealt with the complaint.
My elderly mother had some issues with 2 burners on her Rangemaster Pro 90 induction hob. An engineer came out and suggested parts and labour that came to over £700 - and had to be paid for upfront. When the engineer came out, they fitted the new parts which subsequently made 2 different burners fail. Furthermore, one of the new burners then stopped working the next day.
Rather than offering to come back and help fix, she was then given another £500 bill to fix the 2 burners broken by the engineer (which again she would have to pay upfront) and told that she couldn’t get any money back from the first job. Having made multiple phone calls trying to escalate this, she just kept getting told that “the manager won’t be able to do anything either’. My poor Mum is now very stressed out being over £700 out of pocket and a hob that is now worse than it was before.
I cannot understand all the other good reviews here. Terrible company. Will be getting in touch with Trading Standards.

I have recently had support from customer services at repairtech and I have to say Mark Stone has been amazingly helpful. He has personally chased through a parts problem between 2 companies kept me updated throughout and I hope has recently resolved the problem. I have to say this attention to detail is really is a welcome change to most customer service departments that I have had to liase with recently. Well done Mark keep up the good work

Great service from Paul, to fix our Rangemaster cooker, after the main oven element had gone. He also fixed a few minor problem as well (broken bottom draw and some missing screws)

The engineer was first class, he took time to thoroughly check and discover what was causing the electrical fault tripping the fuse board.
He was a very pleasant guy who did a great job

Contacted to arrange repair for Rangemaster cooker, found it hard to believe that I had to pay up front but was told that I’d get a call from a tech within 1-2 days, guess what no calls and when I called them there was a indifferent person who wasn’t surprised that no call was made. I’ll give them time over the weekend and on Monday I’ll do what needs to be done.

I'm really impressed by their fantastic service after a part failed in my 22-year old Falcon oven. Kate at Repairtech found the part I needed and it was with me a couple of days later. Would definitely recommend them.

We have 2 repairs carried out by Paul Beggs to our Rangemaster oven and he was truly professional in everything he did. He called us to let us know when he was arriving and was promptly on time. Nothing was a problem to him when we asked for advice. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul to our friends and family.
