Rentify.se scammed me in 2021 with some…

Rentify.se scammed me in 2021 with some verification charges of 499SEK twice, in total 998SEK.
I wrote a review in Trustpilot about it in 2021 and then rentify reached out to me in person about it.
They promised me to refund the charges to make me take down my review. They even went on to claim that the refund was in progress.
They asked me to wait for 3-5 business days.
I never received any money so far.
They stopped responding to my emails.
It has been more than 3 years now

Now they are asking me to taken down my "inaccurate review" to avoid further delays in payment.
They asked me to follow up in a timely manner.
This is my 7th notification since 2021 about the refund.
I am absolutely clueless how do they have this audacity to ask me to follow up on this matter and take no responsibility on their lie of refunding my money.

SCAM

I accidently did some verification on this website October 2023. Why said accidently, because nothing showed I have to pay 499/month when I did it. And since then they are deducting 499 without any notification, without any bill, and without providing any service. Until February 2024 I found it, then I stopped my verification immediately, but March, April they are still taking money from my account. Jesus.... unbelievable.
I reported to Konsumentverket. Please do it if you are also get cheated. And reported to police also

BE CAREFUL OF THIS SITE! Put my card details in for a 5 SEK withdrawal (they do not make it clear that there is a monthly subscription that you have signed up to) few weeks later 499 SEK came out of my account. There is no contact number and I have not found this website any better than other property websites here in Stockholm. I don't understand how they can justify taking money out your account like this! Rentify I want my money back! And want to cancel the subscription.

Be careful, SCAM WEBSITE

A while back I was looking for an apartment for my mom and sister, who came to Sweden to flee from the war in Ukraine. Under stress I was looking for any chance to get an apartment for them and registered on rentify.se. The verification process seemed like a simple one-time payment of 5SEK, but the website kept silently charging my card with 499SEK every month. I've only noticed this after I've already lost ~5500SEK and the support is of course not helpful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE - THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM

Is rentify a Scam? I think Yes

I only pay 5sek for the account verification initially. Never undergo subscription. This was done back in August 2022. and since January they are deducting 499 without any notification and without providing any service which is ultimately a false move.

If there are certain representative, kindly take up the case.
I have already requested you using your forms.

Sneaky thieves

Sneaky thieves. They deliberately hid the cancel membership option in most absurd place on their website. This should be illegal. And 99% ads are free on qasa.se. Some of them already rented out but shows avialable on their website. Pure garbage. Whoever runs this company should get a real job.

Dark pattern in the subscription process

I have been charged for SEK 2495 (around $240) without being aware about it.

The service is using a dark pattern to deceive users:
On the "Verification" subscription page of the service they purposefully made the note less visible about the verification going from SEK 5 to SEK 499/month payments after 2 (!) days of the active subscription.

No reminders or communication received about the ongoing subscription and changes to the monthly payments.

Never believe the rentify responses to the reviews here, they are totally SCAM. How could you do that without even mentioning? Whoever is giving replies on the reviews from Rentify saying this is misunderstanding check your emails we have contacted blah blahh...
And still I wonder how could rentify get 2 as rating....

We should find a way to get our refund back from this company!!!

SCAM - DO NOT TRY

SCAM. They first ask you to "verify" the account for 7 SEK. However, they charge you another 500 SEK in two days, and they charged me twice! It is absolutely not clear from the message on the site when you pay it.

And when I contact them, they answered "We apologize that you bought a subscription without reading through the pricing information properly. No worries, we are kind and will give you a courtesy refund."

First of all, this is not kindness. You charge customers without informing them properly and clearly, and you did that to me twice.

And it's been more than 15 days, but no refund. I'm afraid I'll soon start a legal procedure against the company.

Scam!

Like everyone else, I also got scammed. They first ask you to "verify" the account which I assumed to be a way to ensure that you have a valid credit card, which is a common practice. However, they will charge you another 500 SEK in two days. This is absolutely not clear from the message on the site when you pay it.

The listed properties are the same as everywhere else (qasa, blocket, samtrygg) and the site doesn't bring any additional value. Their ads on Facebook are also scam.
