Reinforced Beds are a family run, online only retailer specialising in very strong beds and durable mattresses based in the UK. Our collection consists of heavy-duty frames constructed from the strongest materials. The range include wooden bed frames, metal bed frames, upholstered beds (including bedsteads, ottomans and divans) and bunk beds.
Our stock is suitable for both domestic and contract customers. We have supplied products to many different environments, such as large hotel chains, student accommodation refits and to the NHS direct to name a few.
Due to the build quality of our products, we have a wide selection suitable for people who are overweight and/or suffer from challenging behaviour. These products have been sourced and designed with the aim to be the solution for customers who require them most.
As well as an online retailer, we take great care in our products. As well as sourcing reliable and fantastic manufacturers to create our beds, we also manufacture select metal beds on site here in Norfolk! We also import some products directly to us, built to our own spec from overseas.

Great products. Recommended.
The only negative I can give is the delivery, although worked out fine, was unclear what was happening and when.
The Langham HD quad bunk is absolutely incredible. Easy build and absolutely solid. No creeks or squeaks at all and feels like it could withstand anything you can throw at it.
The mattresses we got were the 1k pocket sprung mattresses which, on its own might not have been bad, we got the Air Flow Mattress Topper. Wow, absolute game changer. I'm getting one for our King-size too.
I would most certainly recommend the company and products that I've purchased.

Langham HD Quad Bunks
Langham HD Quad Bunks purchased as we've two growing boys in one room so wanted something sturdy enough for adults. Paid £1193 for bunks, mattresses and drawers. Off to a bad start with one of the mattresses outer packaging torn and mattress dirty in a corner AIT the couriers fault. Reinforced beds contracted and issue resolved.
Boxes opened and ready for building. Wood quality very good and impressed with thickness of parts supplied. Paint finish ok quite a number of pre drilled holes incomplete and had to drill out in order to assemble received a 7.5% discount as compensation.Instructions could have been better with components not labelled. I've a bit of experience in building flat pack so managed to work it out. Frames assembled and top bunk in position ready for wooden slats to be fitted. Well impressed with thickness of slats but when positioning on the runners at each side it became clear that they've been cut too short. Slats are supposed to be screwed down to frame and have pre drilled pilot holes for screws. Due to them being too short screws missing the rails in the inside of the frame. Quite a number of screws now showing through the wood. Really disappointed overall with the quality control on the finish of the product. Could be a quality product which I would expect for £1193 but a let down instead.

Damaged Bed, Property Damage, and Stressful Resolution
I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a reinforced bed from this company.
The bed arrived in poor condition, the fabric was ripped, and there was visible mould on the wooden section of the headboard, which is completely unacceptable, especially for a brand new item.
I also paid extra for assembly, but during delivery and installation, the drivers caused damage to my son’s room by ripping the soft flooring. This has added further stress and cost to what should have been a straightforward purchase.
While I appreciate that the company has offered a replacement, the resolution process has placed a significant burden on me. I am now expected to source suitable packaging for a very large headboard and dismantle a heavy bed myself, despite the fact that this originally required a two-person team to assemble.
Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience. I would expect a company providing specialist furniture to take more responsibility for both product quality and the logistics involved in resolving issues when things go wrong.

This is certainly not the standard of product quality or service we aim to provide, and we completely appreciate your concerns regarding the condition the bed arrived in. Issues such as damage in transit are taken seriously, and we have been working to resolve this as quickly as possible for you.
In terms of the resolution, we offered a number of options and arranged the one that best suited your preference. To minimise further inconvenience, we have organised for a specialist courier team to attend, dismantle the existing bed, and install the replacement components for you. While it is standard procedure for returned items to be packaged prior to collection, we recognised the difficulty in this case and made arrangements to support you further.
Regarding the damage to your flooring, we understand how upsetting this must be. As the delivery and installation were carried out by a third-party courier, any damage claims are handled directly with them, and we understand you are currently in contact to resolve this.
We do take full responsibility for putting things right where issues arise, and we have worked hard to reach a resolution that limits disruption to you as much as possible.

Thank you! Finally after a year of sleeping on the sofa after an operation I found this website. I ordered the bariatric mattress. Ordered online on Saturday, got the order confirmation on Monday when they opened, applied for the VAT refund from them and it was sorted within 6 minutes and mattress delivered in the Wednesday! Delivery came exactly when they said it would and the delivery team they used were brilliant as well kept me well informed and were really polite and helpful! The mattress took some getting used to but after a couple of nights I’m sleeping great 😊 as others have said it is very firm, but give it time as now it’s the best nights sleep I’ve had I don’t even feel my husband tossing and turning during the night at all

Beds are good but could do with holes in the upright for the screws that secure the big dowels in the uprights.

Excellent experience- first time customer
I ordered bunk beds and a mattress on Easter Monday when the office was closed. As promised my order was dealt with the next day promptly. I received an email asking me to pick which day I would like the beds to arrive. The delivery company used was excellent. I was provided with a 2 hour time slot and received a call when they were around 40 minutes away. The beds were straightforward to build and are solid. Absolutely no noise when in use even when it's an adult. The memory foam mattress purchased to go on the top bunk is very comfortable as well. A 10/10 experience for me - would definitely use again.
