One of our party fell ill and couldn’t attend the event at the star casino showroom on the 10/1/26 at the last minute. We were told at the door we could receive a refund because we were insured, so didn’t give the ticket to another person.
After lengthy discussions with the insurer, we got nowhere. Don’t invest in this company.

As per most reviews here, they will do everything to not refund, just a litany of excuses and new criteria. Have reported to Financial Ombudsman.

I purchased ticket protection through Refundable.me and made a claim after I was genuinely unable to attend an event.
My primary residence was severely damaged by a major hailstorm. I lost the roof of my house, solar system, and suffered significant structural damage to multiple sheds, with repairs exceeding $150,000. The roof replacement and repairs were scheduled for the same week as the concert. I live around six hours away, making it impossible to travel while my home was unroofed and under active repair.
Refundable.me’s own Terms and Conditions define an Emergency Circumstance as “an unforeseen circumstance completely outside your control and of no fault of yours that completely prevents you from attending the booked event.” In my view, a natural disaster affecting my primary residence clearly meets this definition.
Despite providing evidence, my claim was refused.
More concerning, when I asked for the company’s legal details (ABN/ACN and Australian Financial Licence information) so I could lodge a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading or AFCA, this information was not provided.
I would strongly recommend anyone considering this product read the terms very carefully and consider the difficulty of making a successful claim if something genuinely serious happens.
Dear Heidi, thanks for the reply, the claim clearly fell with in the definition of Emergency Circumstances that Refundable.me define in their Terms and Conditions. Yet did all possible not to refund the tickets and failed to act with Utmost Good Faith. Refundable.me refused to provide any details of the company registrations or Australian Financial License that Refundable.me are operating under when selling this product in Australia. Their bank account is registered as "Events Protect Limited" which appears to be a UK company, their is no evidence of Australian registration.

Very disappointed in this scam of a company. I purchased a ticket to the Seven Springs Matterhorn New Year's Eve Party on showclix.com for December 31, 2025. During checkout I opted to pay the additional $3.79 Refund Protection Fee that was offered just in case anything were to come up. Little did I know I would be dealing with a company who advertises refund protection for purchases but then will find every reason to not refund you when you apply for the refund under one of there covered reasons and provide all evidence requested clearly showing your claim is valid. Please do yourselves a favor and do not fall for this scam like the rest of us. There are hundreds of negative reviews for this company for a reason. I wish I would’ve done my research prior to letting them scam me.

Outright scam.
This so-called “insurance” is pushed through third-party sellers, but the moment you file a claim, you discover there is no real company, no real support, and no intention to pay.
All responses come from an AI bot masquerading as a human (“Sarah”), looping the same scripted messages endlessly until you give up. This is not customer service — it’s a deliberate obstruction tactic.
There is zero transparency: no phone number, no direct email, no company registration, no accountable legal entity. For a business claiming to sell insurance, this is beyond unacceptable and strongly indicative of fraud.
The entire setup appears engineered to collect premiums and systematically avoid payouts. This should be investigated and shut down. I am aware that legal actions, including class actions in the U.S., are underway.
Do not trust this company. Do not give them your money.

This company has all the hallmarks of a scam. I was unaware when I attempted to make a claim for refund through RailEurope, where I had booked train tickets. Unbeknowns to me I was directed to this company, and after having to provide every personal and medical detail, plus bank account details (needing to be confirmed) I was asked for even more medical details. The email responses are clearly AI generated, and are insulting in their use of personal information

Wife is pregnant with complications. As if that's not hard enough I apparently need to get a doctors certificate to "Prove it" and pass this private matter to them to record on their system.
Show some heart.... Unbelievable.

I purchased flight cancellation insurance from Refundable.me specifically to protect my family if something went wrong. Something did go wrong — and Refundable.me has completely gone radio silent.
Our connecting flight was cancelled, leaving me and my elderly parents stranded. With no assistance or response from Refundable.me, we were forced to purchase a last-minute one-way return flight from Norway to NYC, costing around $6,000, on top of the $3,000 we had already paid for the original flights.
Since then, this has turned into a frustrating game of passing the buck between Refundable.me, Dohop, Norse, and Norwegian. Each company points to the next, while everyone keeps our money and no one takes responsibility for the services we were unable to use.
Refundable.me sold insurance for exactly this type of situation, yet when a real claim arose, they stopped responding altogether. No way to contact, no resolution, no accountability.
I’m leaving this review in hopes that Refundable.me will finally acknowledge this case and do what they were paid to do. At this point, I cannot recommend their service to anyone — especially families who rely on real support when travel plans collapse.

I had insured my $1200 tickets through refundable.me, their policy it states if your due to be in a government or school testing site and it’s canceled it is refundable which I sent the letter from the lawyer twice with my first attempt on a refund it was closed out and no one spoke with me but the email I received after submitting the first complaint was that “nothing stopped me from taking my flight” so apparently they think people just continue to jump on a flight with no where to be with a child. I resubmitted another complaint and it has been a month! No response at all! This place is such a scam and I will be contacting a lawyer and BBB to ask about what I can do. UPDATE: As of 1/10 They finally contacted me and still stated they supposedly should not refund me but they were willing to give me $500 back. Obviously I agreed at least it was something better than nothing but I suggested they update policies and make them more clear then but I still will not use them again. Just go through the airline website first before you trust a different site.

I got a full refund on my race entry after recovery from an operation taking far longer than expected due to complications.

Fue simple y facil de entender incluso con mala vista
Refundable.me is a total scam and a waste of your time. I do not recommend purchasing this cover. The flight changed, I showed them the new flight details which clearly indicated that we couldn’t attend the show and yet they did not return the cost’s? Total scam

An easy process when you can't make your flight. Very pleased.
Unable to attend Christmas at the Botanics due to illness, filled out the refund form which took about 5 minutes and it was instantly approved. Great service.
