Reedsy Reviews

I’m currently working towards publishing my first business book and have used Reedsy to help find professional support through the process.

As a first-time author, one of the hardest parts is knowing who to trust and where to find people with the right experience. Reedsy has made that process much easier. The platform is straightforward to use, the professional profiles and portfolios give you plenty of information before making contact, and being able to approach several professionals and compare their responses is particularly useful.

I used Reedsy to find the proofreader for my manuscript and had a very positive experience. I’ve now returned to the platform to find the designer who will take the book through interior design, illustration and typesetting.

There is still a lot to learn when publishing a book for the first time, but Reedsy has made finding and working with experienced publishing professionals considerably less daunting.

I’d happily recommend it to other first-time independent authors.

Five‑Star Review for Reedsy and Emmanuel Nataf, CEO

I am honored to write this heartfelt review on behalf of Reedsy and its CEO, Emmanuel Nataf. This year, I have had the privilege of using Reedsy’s services twice—first for copy editing, and later for interior book design and cover design for my Adjutant Ministry Orientation and Training Facilitator Guide. I must say that I am deeply pleased with the results and the level of excellence they helped me achieve.

Reedsy has created a platform where gifted, vetted, and highly skilled professionals can offer their expertise to authors who desire quality, clarity, and craftsmanship. I have worked with some of Reedsy’s finest, and each one demonstrated professionalism, depth of knowledge, and a sincere commitment to producing outstanding work.

One of the things I appreciate most is Reedsy’s responsiveness. They correspond promptly, keep the customer informed, and provide helpful guidance throughout the process. Their system makes it easy to identify and select from a curated list of qualified professionals—each with transparent pricing based on experience, background, certifications, and the scope of the work. This level of clarity and support is invaluable, especially for authors navigating the publishing process.

I am grateful for the excellence Reedsy brings to the publishing world. Emmanuel Nataf and his team have built a platform that truly serves authors with integrity, reliability, and care. I highly recommend Reedsy.com to anyone seeking professional services for their book—whether editing, design, coaching, or any other publishing need.

Thank you, Reedsy, for helping me bring this ministry resource to life. I look forward to continuing this partnership as I prepare future works for publication.

Cicero B. King

I am eternally thankful that I joined Reedsy, not only did I find such quality editors but I learned so much from the master classes and other learning tools.
I would highly recommend this platform for any budding authors looking for resources and a place to just…learn your craft.

Reedsy offers easy access to a bevy of editors and other resources for writers. The website is easy to use and communication is excellent. There’s a learning platform available for those interested.

Had a wonderful experience. A well-designed site with very well-designed offerings. Great professionals who do excellent work at competitive prices. Highly recommend for authors!

I appreciated the often detailed descriptions of potential editors for my work. Communication throughout my whole experience with Reedsy was excellent, I felt well cared for, and the site is easy for a techy dingbat to navigate. I'm now invited to helpful webinars—a happy surprise. Reedsy offers superior service for writers, and I'm most grateful.

Reedsy made finding a professional editor easy and stress-free. The platform is simple to use, the editor profiles are detailed, and I received quotes quickly. I ended up working with Cynthia Constantino, who did an outstanding job on my manuscript. Payments were secure, communication was smooth, and everything felt professional from start to finish. I highly recommend Reedsy to any author looking for trustworthy publishing professionals.

Reedsy offers services for every stage of the writing/publishing process. As a new author I have found the templates, resources and opportunity to hire professionals very helpful. The website is well organized and offers free and paid services. There is much more to "writing a book" than just writing the book! Thank you!

It's an really amazing app I tried it many times and its really worth

Platform made easy for a task that would have otherwise taken me hours to do by myself!! Finding anyone to work on my book alongside me was effortless. I love Reedsy - it is the only platform I will use as a writer.

The Reedsy community is active all day every single day. I've received loads of help from Masterclass Sessions, Author/Director/Producer tips, building characters, stories, careers in writing that last. This place is a real gem for those hopeful writers seeking a support system. Reedsy keeps churning out Author support, you don't have to ask.

Reedsy offered a great range of top tier designers when I was looking for someone to design the cover for my self-published story collection. The site made it very easy for me to browse a range of relevant professionals, and to get quotes from them quickly. I love the artist I ended up working with, and by managing all of our interactions through Reedsy I now have a handy archive of our full collaboration. I liked it so much I've now put out a brief for another project as well.

Reedsy's contractors are excellent, true professionals who go above and beyond to help you. There are so many dodgy contractors out there and you can waste your money on poor quality work and unwillingness to truly collaborate. But with Reedsy you get what you pay for and more. Totally stress free.

I've been using Reedsy Studio to write and edit my story, and it has been an amazing tool. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and makes the writing process smooth. Highly recommended for authors

I’ve used two different editors on reedsy for developmental edits so far and they have both been extremely communicative, not tried to change my book from what I want it to be and helped me developed it into something I think could really sell. I will continue to use reedsy in my writing journey

I have had an extremely great customer experience with Reedsy. As an Indie writer, it is quite comforting, to have a professional book editor on your side. Thank you

Great manuscript editing, cover design, and formatting. The copy and proof editor made some mistakes so I'd change that in the future.

My experience so far with reedsy has been great. I like that when you copy and paste something into reedsy it gives it a great format that makes it look professional. Its so easy to use and super user friendly as well. and the best part is there is tons of features that are free.

Working with Amanda has been such a wonderful experience. She has been exceptionally patient throughout the entire process and has an incredible ability to understand and capture my vision.

As a first-time author, creating this book has been a long journey with lots of details and revisions along the way, but Amanda made the illustration process feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable. She is incredibly talented, a great communicator, responsive, and so easy to work with.

I’m truly grateful for the care and creativity she brought to my book, and I couldn’t be happier with how the illustrations turned out. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a talented illustrator who is patient, collaborative, and committed to bringing your vision to life.

This is the most brilliant book writing platform ever. I cannot recommend it more I find it so easy to use and the layout is brilliant. I will be using this for all my books in the future.
