friendly helpful, good detail

The inspector who completed our report missed some pretty straightforward things.

- The tinting on the Drivers window was bubbled and you can’t see out of it so the car wouldn’t pass rego. This was not included in the report.

- On the vehicle details report the inspector selected the 2026 model of the car, which has different specifications to the 2020 model I purchased.

Pretty basic stuff that shouldn’t have been gotten wrong when you’re paying $300+

I should have just organised an inspection with a local mechanic.

The other detail in the report might have been helpful to someone who didn’t know much about cars.

YES I PAID FOR THE BASIC INSPECTION BUT I THOUGHT THE REPORT WAS VERY VAGUE

My vehicle inspector was extremely helpful and thorough with the inspection and information provided. He was happy to answer any questions and was not in a rush to get off the phone when he called. Great knowledge of the car and had the answer for any questions I asked.

Missed clear coat peeling on a very large area of the car on a pre purchase report. Also missed paint bubbling. Needs to be more thorough inspections

Our first inspection was cancelled mysteriously, however the follow-up one happened on time and results came back very swiftly.

Report was as expected but the follow up phone call and discussion really helped with some of the ratings and therefore any decision making I needed.

I couldn’t recommend Redbook inspection enough! What a great service, really exceeded my expectations, I paid for the $300 package and Adam who was assigned to me went over absolutely every detail of the car, I received something like 120 pictures from hose fittings/ connections, tyre tread, beneath the vehicle, interior/ exterior, I also got a phone call from Adam upon completion of inspection as well as a full detailed report to my email! Guys are legends, would definitely use again and would happily recommend to anybody looking to purchase a new or used car

Excellent comprehensive and timely service

Very good service love the detailed report with photos and videos.

The fact that it’s done by a third-party completely removed from the transaction makes it a more trusted system.

I took the second package and all the information was detailed starting from pictures of the exterior and interior, the engine condition and even the scratches.
