Luckily I don’t buy extended warranties specifically because of what has happened to so many who have been stitched up by this company, but they’re not the only ones who do that sort of thing. Closing down and then forming a new company with a slightly different name appears to be par for the course these days. Condolences to those who have been affected

It’s a shame as the initial getting the company to come and do the work was easy. Door insulation fab, the guys were so lovely and knew what they were doing. It’s a shame that communication is none existent…they just need to employ a good office manager! Now my door has come off the runners and no one will answer my messages. I did have the text message like others…”I don’t work for them anymore”…”I think the company has gone under”….what a way to run a business…I now cannot access my garage at all. Good job I didn’t keep the car in there! 😡😡😡😡

Hi there I have a broken remote control and would like to claim on my 10 year warranty, i am keep on calling the rdc company number but the contact number is not exist. There was a guy called Matt was working there and initially he picked up my first call, but now he is telling me that he have left the company. Is it strange?. Because he was the only one there at that time. I think he is the boss and now he is giving me a new story. Is anyone know which company we have paid for the warranty, because I remember it was a different company!

Door lasted approx 1 year, broken motor. Door fitted April 2023. Company don’t seem to exist anymore, the contact number on the invoice is “..an incorrect number (01621 85703). Had to call another company to replace door. They told me the original company has probably stated up again under a new name.

We had two garage doors fitted approx 2yrs ago and paid for their 9 year warranties for both doors, one door has been damaged by it’s open and shut operation so I tried contacting RDC 20.04.2023 but no success! We have been ripped off by this low life company! 😡

Got me to pay £125 for a 9 year warranty. Complete scam as now the company will not answer calls or emails. I now have a broken garage door and no warranty... stay clear of this company!!!

My husband is disabled and uses the garage door for access to the lift. We have 3 fobs, none work. We have no way to get into the garage from the house. I have been trying for several months to reach RDC with no reply. Like the others, I bought a 7 year warranty which seems to now be rendered useless. Are they still in business as I have had no replies to calls or emails?

Do NOT use this company they will scam you out of £125 for a 9 year warranty then close the business and re-open under a different name.. a complete con.

Had a door fitted and the sensor has become faulty and cab now only open manually have truer to contact the company twice but received nothing back

We are a local, family run business that supply and install top quality, high end garage doors…actually for a little more than these crooks advertise their inferior product for.

These rip off merchants have been a thorn in the side of decent businesses like ours for many years.

I’m astonished that people actually keep falling for their absurd marketing.

We have tried over the years to warn people of them and their disgraceful business practices.

3 weeks ago we had a call from a customer that lived literally 10 minutes away from us.

Their door had been installed for 7 months.

It broke.

Despite us being literally around the corner from the customer, we were never contacted by them when they were initially looking to purchase.

We refused to even entertain repairing the product…the phrase substandard is an understatement.

Why are people who live in Dorset using a company based in the East of Essex to supply them?

Use Local people!!!

It might cost you £200 more than sheisters like this quote initially.

More fool the people that have bought them for not doing their homework and overlooking decent, hardworking people and businesses.

Book and paid for roller shutter door. Give a fitting date then given excuse after excuse before being ghosted and then they went into liquidation.

So glad I had paid by credit card and could claim my money back

Door stopped working, manual mechanism stopped working. 9 year warranty waste of money. Gone to not liquidation. No Rosie, no response to emails. Utter crap do not use them. Now looking for someone to repair our garage door. Gggrrrr!

Door fitted okay but company now in liquidation, so having to get another company out to add something to Door. Warranty you can use as toilet paper!
Anthony William PYBUS was the director with several addresses that you may wish to write to but I dont think he will care. People like this have no morals. As you can see below he's been bang at it since 2004.

Maybe I should start with what went well, erm nothing, I've been left with a very unsafe garage door! These people are cowboys! I will never use them again, even if I wanted to the never reply or answer your emails or phone calls.

Scammers,my garage door is broken email does not work anymore .

Tried contacting RDC through their own website, tried 4 times in both Dec and Jan over a 4 week period, they have never responded, no telephone numbers available on the site

I worked for these for a bit. Absolute cowboy outfit who have also been on rogue traders under a different guise. I'm sorry to say but you've all been ripped off.

Have been trying to get hold of someone to discuss broken door. No phone number & only able to send a contact form. Frustrating is not the word. Bought a warranty but is this really worth it????
