PURE RIP-OFF!!

As did the other reviewer, I order a part for my heater, an LG mini-split. When it came my HVAC guys aid it would not fit. I had the part for 14 days.

It was taken out of the box, he said it clearly wouldn't fit, and put it back in the box.

I contacted this company, and their automated "bot" said I would get back $114!!!

It was listed as fitting my LG mini-split. IT DID NOT!!

THIS IS FRAUD AND MISREPRENTATION! IF THEY WANT TO CITE COURT CASES, AS THEY DID WITH THE OTHER REVIEWER WHEN THEY SCREWED HIM, FINE! I'M A RETIRED JUDGE, AND I WILL FIGHT THEM IN COURT!

My Experience with Rapid HVAC Parts

I ordered parts from Rapid HVAC Parts (Orders #807515 and #807514), which turned out to be the wrong fit for my AC. When I attempted to return them, I was told I’d be charged a 50% restocking fee. This fee is far above normal industry standards (typically 10–20%) and was never made clear at the time of purchase.

When I pushed back, I offered to pay shipping and even a reasonable restocking fee of up to 20%. Instead of working with me, the company insisted on the 50%. I filed a chargeback through my credit card because I felt their policy was excessive and unfair.

In response, Rapid HVAC Parts sent me a long, boilerplate letter — clearly written by ChatGPT — full of legal jargon and threats. The letter claimed I had misrepresented my case, cited Arizona consumer fraud laws, and even suggested they might sue me for trying to return items that did not fit.

This type of response is not only unprofessional but also intimidating toward customers. Rather than providing good service or a fair resolution, they tried to scare me with AI-generated legal language.

Consumers deserve transparency, fair treatment, and professionalism — not threats. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Rapid HVAC Parts.
