I am writing this to warn other business owners to stay far away from RankTracker. I have used this tool for two years, and for two years in a row, they have managed to trick their way into double-charging me through deceptive backend messaging.

The "Expired" Account Trap
RankTracker employs a predatory marketing scheme. When you log into your dashboard, the system displays messaging suggesting your account has already expired. Naturally, I followed the prompts to renew. It turns out my account was not expired, and I was simply billed for a second, redundant subscription.

Terrible Support and "Ghosting"
When I brought this to their attention in 2024, they refused a refund and instead "extended" my subscription. Fast forward to 2025: they charged me on both renewal dates. I have been back and forth with their representative, "Felix," since September. After months of emails, they simply stopped replying to my inquiries. Their "Live Chat" is a ghost town; I sent multiple messages in November and December that were completely ignored.

Pay for a Year, Get Locked Out Today
The final straw came today. After being fed up with the $114.48 and $178.07 charges (over $290 total), I decided to cancel my subscription entirely. Despite having paid for service through August 2026, they immediately revoked my access to the tools and all my data the second I hit cancel. They keep your money but don't honor the remaining months of the service you paid for. This is not how a professional SaaS company operates. It is a scam.

Pros: None anymore. | Cons: Deceptive UI, double billing, zero customer support, immediate lockout upon cancellation.

unfortunately I'm also one of the people that paid a lifetime deal on AppSumo and can't access the product anymore. This is a scam and breach of the contract.

This company does not send reminders for annual subscriptions. Even though I haven't used the service in over 16 months, he refuses to reimburse me any of the annual fee, it went up from appsumo lifetime deal to nearly $500 CAD/year. He won't even downgrade the account to a monthly fee and refund teh remaining of the year. Seems he just wants to trap users into the auto-renewing subscription. be cautious!
