I wish I could give this app a rating below zero.
I’ve had one of the worst experiences with the Rank Tracker app.
If you’re reading this because you’re thinking about using it don’t. Use another tool instead.

Why am I saying this? Here’s what really happened:

The ranking tracking for my own website is somewhat accurate,
but when it comes to competitor websites, the data is totally off.
Some keywords are correct, but most are completely wrong.
For a paid program, the accuracy should be way better.

The app is full of bugs, it’s a mess to use.

What you see on their website is not what you get.
Many features they advertise don’t actually exist or don’t work properly
for example, Custom Report downloads and other promised tools.

Their support team makes false promises.
They told me to wait for an update for almost a year, but nothing ever changed.

Honestly, it feels like a scam.

About the Support Experience:
I spoke with a support rep named Felix Rose-Collins since late 2024.
He said there would be an update to fix the issues within 2–3 months.
When the time came, he told me to wait a bit longer “it’s almost done.”

By February 2025, he offered me free access as compensation,
but again, nothing improved.

The last email I got from him was on October 7, 2025, and he said:

“Hi, we are very close to deploying the update, we hope it’s this month or next month was much bigger project to do than we expected.”

That’s when I knew nothing would ever change.
It’s been a year already, and the app is still buggy and unreliable even worse than before.

My Honest Advice:
Don’t waste your time or money on this app.
It’s unreliable, misleading, and feels like a scam.
If you need a trustworthy SEO tracking tool go find something else.

Sold a lifetime plan and just logged in to find that I now need to buy a "Support Plan" for $80 per year.

A total con.

Shady company, business practices to buy and switch. Gets you to buy levels of service then locks you out (after promising they never would), by requiring a subscription to a 'support plan'.. even if you don't need it or want it.. avoid them

Utterly disappointing from start to finish. I signed up for the annual plan, realized within 24 hours that the platform wasn’t what I’d hoped, and immediately requested a refund. Ranktracker flat-out refused, hiding behind anti-consumer fine print instead of basic fairness. Paying a full year’s fee for something I can’t use feels like daylight robbery. Their customer support was dismissive, their policies inflexible, and the whole experience left me feeling cheated. Avoid Ranktracker at all costs. There are plenty of tools that value their customers more than their cancellation clauses.

Worst app I've ever used. Buggy and unstable. I signed up for the one year plan 6 months ago. Traffic data has been zero half of the time. I messaged them weeks ago (again) to get this fixed, and they still haven't figured out how to fix it. Meanwhile, login stopped working. Worthless app.

I haven't used the service for one year because I don't like it, then I was charged for the next year automatically. I canceled my subscription on the same day I was charged and asked for refund. They refused a refund of any kind because I had to cancel my subscription the day before. I asked for partial refund, they stopped responding. The support is a nightmare. I waited 2 days for respond and I had to contact them again. It's really a SCAM! Don't subscribe!

SCAM ! Do not use any services from ranktracker.com !
NEVER USE IT ! They were selling lifetime plan but canceled it after one year and now they are requiring to pay yearly support fee for "lifetime plan" which I already paid !

Scam Artist and any good reviews are written by fake people. absolutely disgusted people will build garbage and defend it, i think they build things that don't work and just blame you, as a software developer, i see the ethics of people like this dirt bag Felix Rose-Collins spending more time defending theft then just fixxing his garbage.

Same issue as others. Paid $200 for a LTD and now they just ignore you when you try to access and give you a screen to upgrade. Seeing this type of scam way too often on AppSumo these days...

I was happy with the product for close to two years. But then I didn't need it anymore, so I cancelled it in good time.
But when I cancelled my plan, the addons never cancelled (extra keywords), so they renewed. But since I had cancelled the plan I had for Ranktracker, I couldn't use the addons.
I told Felix about it and tried to get a refund, but he just wouldn't.
Instead he tried to fool me into continuing with my plan, but i never did.

So the addons are still paid for, but it's something I can't use.

Sucks big time that they don't refund stuff that clearly are a bug on their side.

I ordered their "Double Data" package, tring to test it out and see if this was something I will use for months, year to come. I paid, accessed, setup a couple of project, inserted houndreds of keywords. After about a week I saw this was not for me. So, I canceled the subscription, thinking I will still be able to use by the end of the month, since I had already paid the whole month worth of subscription, right? Well, not really because they immediately restricterd my access to analytics. It's more then obvious they are only going for your money. Even the service itself is nothing special. I would even say not to UX, but that's just me.

Sells a lifetime deal - so we all buy it - and then locks us out of it - requiring a subscription to continue using. Calls it a "support plan" - as in - they dont answer your support ticket (asking why we cant access our account) unless we pay for them to answer.

Shows the integrity of its founder.

That aside - ive always found the UI clunky - and unexciting to revisit regularly to check my rankings.

Much annoyed. Recommend people to use something else

The tool works pretty nicely and the community/support is helpful as well

When ranktracker started out they used appsumo to help build their user base with a Life Time Deal which I purchased in good faith. I setup my keywords for tracking clients and all seemed to be going well. Until the owner decided to try and extort a monthly "Support Subscription" from us, locking us out of our accounts until we paid the "Support Subscription". Ranktracker are completely unethical and not to be trusted.

Biggest Scamer here!

I bought an Appsumo Life Time Deal and there are now want me to pay again for the service!
