Nice & easy to renew with RAC. I was expecting my free RAC road cover but when it came through I had to put in lots of details about my car & also bank card details! Although assured no payment would be taken. I feel strongly that bank details are not necessary at this point & if they are working together surely they could have just sent it through to me?

No telephone customer service and poor automated bot support.
The Website BOT was not useful, I went round in circles multiple times. Then information it gave was only partially correct. The fact that RAC declare that the do not provide a telephone customer service is worrying based on the issues that arose when I was simply changing address. Then the charge was a surprise and seemed excessive compared to my experience of updating address elsewhere

Regarding the charge for changing your address, this is calculated and applied by the underwriter based on your new postcode and their underwriting criteria. We appreciate that an unexpected charge can be frustrating and understand your concerns about the cost.
