DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!! They may be a cheap option but cheap service is what you get. And if you cancel they charge you an insane amount of money. Their CS is an absolute joke, I was chatting to a “supervisor” but I’m sure it was a bot. Would have never signed up if I knew this, such a hassle.

Been with quote me happy insurance for the past 2 years using the black box insurance had no problem over the last 2 years apart from device battery dying resulting in me having to change the battery, the device has recently stopped recording trips when going out and as I have just renewed my insurance I informed them of the device being inoperable before the policy ended and they told me to just turn on the Bluetooth. Found it very rude the way they came across explaining to me how it works as if I have not being using it for 2 years they insisted the device could not be replaced and I will be monitored closely for the next 7 days to see improvement, despite having gold driver rating. Their system has various flaws as I don’t drive my car every day or sometimes not for a few week I would receive threatening emails that my insurance would be cancelled!!

Renewed my home insurance policy in March as was provided with a monthly figure to be paid over 12 months as had done the previous year. On the renewal date they took the whole years payment in one go.(leaving me overdrawn) Had to talk to a bot for ages who could not understand my problem and later in the day I managed to have an online chat with a human who kept on telling me over and again that there was basically nothing they could do as there system would not allow them to change me back to monthly payments!!!My persistence paid off though once I made a formal complaint as all of a sudden they could move me back onto monthly payments however they decided to keep my payment that isnt due until Feb 2027!!!
When I queried this they said that my monthly payments were only over 11months so I was paying double in the first month. Despite me forwarding their original email which clearly stated that my payment would be over 12 months, over a month later I still have not had my Feb 27 payment refunded. And have had to make a 3rd complaint. They’re obviously trying to hang onto my money for as long as possible.- it’s not acceptable and I am not happy. Give me my money back please QMH.

Black box is awful, keep getting lower scores when the GPS drifts on almost every trip saying I've gone places I just haven't. Had to contact so many times for this issue. I'm also not the only person that drives my car and I have been sent multiple threatening emails saying my policy would be cancelled even though I have spoken to the company and they've said it's completely acceptable! It makes me not want to drive my car 0/10 company, 0/10 customer service. Also can't drive for more than an hour....if your stuck in traffic, good luck!

The poorest / worst service i have ever EVER received , customer service workers are not bothered and end the call on you, wait times are beyond a joke and the app doesn’t even work and then you get penalised for not logging in, if i could give 0 i would
