Bad service and never again
They will watch you die for a Profit.
I have literally nearly died three times in the last three years. This company absolutely does not value human life. I will be Boycotting them exactly like some of my relatives did to the English taxes.
Twice in motorcycle accidents. I nearly was garrotted by an overhead power line that was hanging across the road and they literally didn’t care. The repair shop was very nice and helped me out because they know the companies policies.
During Covid I worked as part of a specialist paramilitary unit that deals with high risk inmates. I’ve gotten Covid 4 times in the line of duty and they refuse to pay me a cent. I’m literally crippled from my sacrifices for my country.
Luckily my work will pay me until they sort out something else. But honestly if you live in Australia this company does not value your life or anything relating to human life. Avoid avoid avoid.
I would like to highlight how helpful my actual government is. Just do not trust ruthless corporations that have your life’s worth put into an algorithm that will spit out how many dollars your life is worth.
I am very lucky that as a single dad I’m used to going without, so I can wait them out. However crisis and trauma affect your willingness to agree to to any sort of support. That is exactly the only time you will be speaking with them. When you have had acute trauma or need assistance.
Again just in case you needed some extra convincing, my grandfather fought for this country and he would be horrified that all his hard work in unions and charitable efforts were tarnished by corruption and greed.
Keep getting scam calls from this…
Keep getting scam calls from this company over the last couple of weeks after a car accident, informing me they have been instructed by Churchill Insurance to process my personal injury claim. Strangely they have no information about the accident, refused to give out the name of their business and Churchill do not have any knowledge of their operation as they use an approved legal assistance provider. Do not give them any information and report them to your insurer if they contact you.
No courtesy car if you car is total loss - no payout no courtesy car either - take taxis!
Been insured by Zego doing food Uber Food delivery and I was involved in an accident. QBE was the chosen provider for my vehicle, and they've contracted another company FMG Connect which dealt with the repair/courtesy car.
It appears that QBE only gives courtesy cars for the duration of the vehicle repairs, however as my car was deemed a total loss I have been left without a vehicle since the company repairing the vehicle is not repairing my vehicle. Now in order to reduce costs of running their business, they leave customers without a vehicle if they are unlucky to be their customer!
I find this to be just not customer service but customer disservice, I would have imagined judging the amounts of money this service costs to receive a better service. No wonder there is a 1 start company on trust pilot.
Marine cargo - very poor post policy communication
We insured our contents through QBE marine cargo when transitioning our home contents from Australia to the UK. Contents were damaged and we have claims up to $6,500 still outstanding. They have delayed us numerous times and have apologised for delay of assessors etc. we have complained and asked for the case to be escalated and now they have dropped contact. I will referring this to my company solicitor- terrible post policy service - stay well clear
Useless insurance
I would give negative stars if I could. Have waited 3 months after water clean up completed to begin rebuild after a claim. Zero communication, their claims adjuster was a misogynistic bully who lied multiple times and pushed out a female contractor. Zero communication during this process, refusing to cover damage that multiple contractors and their own field adjuster said should be covered. When you do hear from them it is like the game of telephone and words are twisted and mostly flat out dishonest.
6/11/24 Update: Every time we start to see a light at the end of the tunnel, another hurdle appears. The one person that has been trying to help us in this absolute circus is no longer working on our account ! Apparently, this company focuses on removing anyone that is at all helpful allowing the employees that will fight everything creating chaos to lead the way. I pay premiums to have coverage when the unavoidable happens, not to jump through hoops to get proven damage covered. Forget about loss of use or being able to hire a contractor that is licensed.
Peace of mind is not with QBE Insurance
I purchased this policy through GLAZED app. I was unaware it was QBE insurance. I would highly recommend any customer looking for insurance quickly to avoid GLAZED all all costs. Furthermore, QBE insurance should not be licensed as an insurance company for customers. Instead a crooked company falsely advertising renters insurance for a gullible customer. After suffering a tragic loss due to an electrical fire, six months later I am still dealing with a claim that is at the most $22,000 showing proof of purchases and ownership. Resulting in hiring legal representation to help me. When you pay an insurance company for insurance (car, home, life) you enter a contract. The right thing to do is to trust your policy/contract will take care of you if something horrible happens QBE is NOT the company you want to trust in. go with a reputable Insurance company you can trust!!! Please heed my advice if you are reading this!
It's not customers service when your don't help
I am writing this review to let the public know that a company that's boasts about making 14 billion dollars annually along with their partner mechanical breakdown sellers Olive.com which boasts about a revenue of 5 million + processed payments annually are not about giving the consumer a piece of mind when it comes to your car having a problem that they will help get back on the road A little history with me I bought a 2013 mustang did research on best extended warranty, paid Olive.com up front for 3 years of coverage at their best complete car care coverage,fast forward to 2024 and I have 30 days left on my policy I want to renew because I only drove 9000 MI in 3 years and wanted that comfort of being covered I was told no because cars have to be 10 yrs or newer OK my smog was due in April and as it always happens my check engine light came on, the fuel gage started acting up and I was having a problem with driver side controller operating pass side window took it to mechanic told them about ext warranty they check out my car and discovered that a rodent chewed the electrical wire made from a soy product and is a huge problem with all cars when I called to start a claim I was told that they couldn't get into my account so I get the run around and was told they would look into the problem it took them 12 days to get my account back in the mean time my car sits at the shop my mechanic tells me that they won't fix my car due to rodents so I get out my policy and no where is it written that rodent damage is not covered even when I point out its not in the declaration of not covered

Quick Backtracking Enterprise
With QBE, you have insurance until you need insurance.. My pensioner mother has been with them for years. She made a first minimal claim and they were quick to backtrack and use technical jargon so they didn’t have to pay.
She will be cancelling her policies and moving over to WFI, where I have never had any issues regarding claims.

Been with QBE Australia for over 7 years for home and content insurance and never made a single claim. Just hit with a new premium for the new year with a $3000 hike in premium??? Wonder how they came up with this insane amount? I could get a brand new insurance with a higher coverage and a more reasonable premium. So much for being a loyal customer! QBE get your act together.
Unbelievable Service
QBE provides unbelievably negligent and incompetent service. For a claim that lasted 6 months on our roof, the claim adjustors kept delaying and ignoring the claim for no reason. We provided over 100 pictures over multiple time points which were ignored despite the adjustor asking for the pictures to be sent again and again. The adjustors just ignore the client almost to the point where no one knows if they still are reviewing the claim. Then weeks later another adjustor calls out-of-the-blue and has no knowledge of the details of the claim. The three adjustors we spoke to were work-from-home employees who could not describe the details of the claim and called the wrong roofing company on multiple occasions. They were incompetent, negligent and irresponsible. It’s a callus company full of employees who are there to simply delay and deny. No one should be using this company.
QBE seem to be fraudulently delaying payments
I'm a 77 year old pensioner whose car was written off on 25th september 2023 whilst parked by Procters coaches, a customer of QBE insurance. I've had to pay out of pocket expenses from my small pension which total £498.84 through no fault of mine, expenses which should be repaid to me by QBE. They have failed to do so, I need the money for Christmas presents and my heating bill. Why should I have to take legal action to recover this money when their customer is totally at fault and they should be paying out now.

The worst insurance ever!
I have to renew my rego, so to renew also the green slip with qbe insurance. After trying for one week to pay online, nothing worked, I called twice the client service and nothing worked with them neither. I have to cancel my insurance with them because they made me totally upset, crazy and I lose my time for nothing. It was totally crazy and disrespectful.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Do not insure yourself with Qbe. There is no point. I’ve been a policy holder with QBE for several years, zero claims. The time I needed to make a claim, I provided all documentation photos/ video evidence, evidence of regular servicing on my machine, Mechanics supporting report. Three weeks later, on a machine I use every day for a small business. They are still playing games and would not approve the funding to be released for it to be repaired. I am canceling all policies I have with them. There was/ is no reason for claim to not be approved or the money to be released, if it wasn’t going to be they could have told me in the beginning however I have had to stop work for the last three weeks which I can’t afford to buy no choice because I need that machine. Do not insured with Qbe. Highly incompetent staff, what a joke.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU CAN

Firstly when I reported my incident on a saturday night the agent told me that he could not log it on the system as it was down but he will pass it on to his colleague to get it logged on the monday.
On the monday I called to get an update, I was told my claim does not exist and that I would need to log it again from scratch which I did.
Each time I contacted QBE they provided me with a new reference number and each agent I spoke told me that another department has my claim which made me go round in circles from speaking from one department to another.
Eventually, when I did speak to the correct team I was told that FMG had confirmed to collect my vehicle. After it was collected on the friday I was informed by QBE that the recovery team will be dropping my car within a 30 mile of my home.
The elected garage phoned me and told me that they have been advised by QBE to collect my car and repair it. I told them that is not correct because FMG already collected it, she was confused but said no problem we will likely get the car on monday.
I spoke to an agent from QBE on Monday who told me that my car will be collected from the storage by Tuesday or Wednesday.
It is now wednesday of the 2nd week the repair garage have been telling me constantly that they are still waiting for the arrival of my car.
I spoke to the QBE agent for god knows how many times and they have told me that the car is still in the storage and will leave on thursday.
IS THIS A COMPLETE JOKE?!!!
I WISH ZEGO DELT WITH MY INSURANCE CLAIM DIRECTLY SO I DON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LYING BULLSH*T COMPANY.
Poor customer service
They asked me to chase a letter of acceptance for a 3rd party while it's the insurance job. It's a hassle to get an answer over the phone and they take ages to answer an email

my hvac unit went out and i called a contractor out to see what the problem was, and they instructed me that it was struck by lighten. QBE adjuster sent out a hvac contractor who stated that it was my zoning board on a unit that has been discontinued. i called in my claim june 28 and its now aug 7 and we have had over 100-degree weather here in GA. i have called another contractor out and he said the same thing, insurance company just dont want to get me another unit. he stated the unit was discontinued and hard and expensive to find parts. i give them a ZERO, my son and i have been suffering for over 30 days and no one will do anything. if i get a hotel they will not pay for it. who treat humans like this...as of today it still has not been resolved. and i can't even get cooling units until resolved.
