Unprompted review
Pufferfish is very good and i recommend it.
I used to use many different services like Serverminer and Shockbyte and they both were underwhelming and costly in the long run. After a lot of people told me to use Pufferfish on the Shockbyte discord i finally checked out Pufferfish. And even though i was skeptic at first due to Shockbyte being extremely underwhelming i was very pleased with my purchase.
You can directly access the server files and change the configs without even needing to use an FTP.
The support for the service is also really good and fast. The Discord server also provides fast and easy contact with the support of Pufferfish so if you have any issues you can get help very fast.
The server handles my modpack very good, though it can fall behind sometimes due to the mods being a bit heavy on their own and they themselves causing events in the world which do cause some lag, but it is all part of having a lot of mods.
The pricing is very good and the service has a very high performance to price ratio with the 40% early order discount. And even without the discount it has a very good price to performance ratio which is very good.
Overall i really like the service a lot and i give it a solid 5-Star rating.

Pufferfish handled a very intense plugin with no issues
I used Pufferfish to create and run a server with very intensive plugins for special events. Having never had a server before, the technical support around getting me started and running was fantastic. The owner was very responsive and effective and guaranteed good performance for the event.
The plugin I was using created natural disaster events and included blowing up thousands of blocks at once. The server handled it like a champion! Had 5-7 players each with events spawning on them constantly. The server ran really well and was able to provide the processing power to manage the load without crashing or shutting down.
I had high expectations for the performance of the server and the reality far exceeded those expectations. I would highly recommend Pufferfish to anyone looking for a hosting company. Very happy. Thank you!
