Absolutely horrible

Called and was advised they take Medicare part B with the supplement. Made appointment tried to change to in person from virtual unable to make that change made a second appointment for that same day and appointment in the system was for a month out. Then spoke to another person who contacted me said they don’t take Medicare part B that’s the only way they take Medicare is if you are hospitalized, cancel appointments and found another provider horrible experience.

This place is a JOKE

This place is a JOKE. My first ever appointment i wait a MONTH for just to get in the video call and her tell me she isn't lisenced in IL and that I'd need to find a new doctor even though she was on the list of IL psychs. So I made a new appointment with an MD Sara falcon and everything was fine for the first time, until I needed a refill the next month. On that day I called for my refill on 4/2 they said I needed a doctor's appointment in order to fill my prescription because it's a controlled substance and my follow up appointment that SHE booked for me was 7 days later on 4/9. So they came up with a solution to give me a random doctor to prescribe my pills then go back to normal. I had my appointment with Stephanie Osborne and then I thought everything was fine she said she sent my 2 prescriptions over to Walgreens both controlled substance. 1 became ready for pick up 1 said delayed. So I picked one of them up. I then called Walgreens asking why my prescription is delayed and they said the doctor that sent it isn't enrolled in IL Medicade. So somehow I was able to grab one script she wrote but not the other, so I call back psych plus and they say her SUPERVISOR needs to send it in and it can take 24-48 hours. And this is on Friday by the way. Now im pretty sure I have to wait until Monday to even contact them because they dont work over the weekends and now my scripts are going to be multiple days apart. This place is a shit show!!!!! Absolutely unprofessional and they play with your meds likes you're a joke. Stay far away from this place.

Still recovering

Nothing went right with this "group"..that goes by "Psych plus" and I was over prescribed dangerous meds, in fact, it was exactly 10 serotonin pills, and told by the Anxiety Dr to take them at the same time. I was eventually saved by Memorial Hospital in Las Cruces New Mexico.

Anyone in IL or TX interested in filing…

Anyone in IL or TX interested in filing a class action suit? I have 3 months of documentation re: questionable (fraudulent) billing, appointments made by PsychScam and cancelled by PsychScam on same day …repeatedly. Have not been able to get meds on time for 4 months. This seems to be status quo. FIRST DO NO HARM??? Thats the first thing this place does. I have NPI numbers, operator numbers, and am ready to take action. See my google review that spans months.

During this visit

During this visit, I attempted to explain an issue that arose when I went to pick up my prescribed medication from the pharmacy. The pharmacist informed me that the psychiatrist would need to modify the prescription because I am currently taking Lyrica.

When I relayed this information during my appointment, Dr. Lee’s response felt belligerent and accusatory. As a patient, this made me feel uncomfortable and as though I was being questioned or blamed for something that was simply information provided to me by the pharmacist.

During the discussion, Dr. Lee asked me whether I had to take Lyrica. I found this question confusing and unsettling because Lyrica was prescribed by my neurologist, and I have been taking it as directed for some time. In order to clarify the situation, I called my neurologist’s office to verify how long I have been on the medication. However, Dr. Lee expressed frustration and indicated that doing so was taking too much time during my appointment.

Throughout the visit, I felt that I was being treated as though I was withholding important medical information, when in reality I was trying to ensure that my medication information was accurate and complete. I was also asked to provide a full list of medications in a way that felt confrontational rather than collaborative.

Additionally, I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed. The medications were not clearly explained to me, I was not asked whether I had any questions, and the appointment ended without a thorough discussion of my concerns regarding my treatment.

As a patient, I believe it is important to feel respected, heard, and supported during medical appointments. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling uncomfortable, dismissed, and discouraged from openly communicating about my care.

I am raising this concern in hopes that my experience can be reviewed and that patient communication and professionalism can be improved moving forward.

If you want to mental health issues…

If you want to mental health issues exacerbated then book at PsychPlus of Texas. I spent hours reading the bios of their supposedly available doctors. I found what seemed like a great match for me. I booked an appointment with her for her first available time which was a month plus out. The day of the appointment we did a video call. She gave me her complete spill on how she operates about 5 minutes. Only then to tell me she couldn't be my doctor because she doesn't have availability for new patients. Why was I even allowed to book with her if this is the case? Prior to my appointment I received a call from what I thought was a scammer with a thick accent claiming to need a copay up front. I didn't recognize the number and I knew I didn't have a copay so I hung up. PsychPlus is a scam beware!!!

Don’t expect anyone to actually care about your mental health. You’re just a copay.

The psychiatrist I see is fine. The support staff sucks. I have been trying for a month to fill my ADHD meds, but because there is a nationwide shortage, I cannot get the 20 mg timed release capsules I requested the script be changed to 2-10 mg capsules daily for the same total dose of 20 mg. I kept being told that to get a dose change I had to see a provider; I would escalate, get someone who understood the issue, they’d say it would be taken care of- but it never was. I have called SEVEN TIMES to try and get my medication. Then today I asked for a supervisor. I was left on hold for 45 minutes, never spoke to the supervisor, and again they claim they are sending the script to my pharmacy. Additionally they say I have to see someone not my regular provider today instead of seeing my provider on 10/13. This makes no sense, but I’ve given up in hopes of getting my medication. I have been out for a month, and no one there seems to care.

Extremely poor customer service. Extremely unprofessional supervisors who leave patients on hold for 45 minutes and NEVER take the call. If I had more widely accepted insurance I would change to another provider, but I’m stuck.
