The Protec team did a great job of making my motorhome cover. They double checked all the measurements, and the cover is excellent quality and fits very well.

Delighted with the customer service
Delighted with the purchase process.
The cover was delivered exactly as estimated and it fitted our Motorhome very well.
Ensured it was fitted when we had builders working on the drive but they still managed to damage it. The cover took the majority of the abrasion and consequently needed to be repaired. I did not want a ‘repair patch’ as it was very visible.
Discussed this with Protec at the Motorhome show and they offered to provide a patch panel with their logo on.
This was provided very quickly after the show and I am very pleased with the solution.
Excellent customer service, many thanks
T@B 320 Offroad cover, Exceptional service, quality and professionalism
Pro-tec covers have been very professional and have done a first class job of making a cover to fit our 2009 T@B 320 Offroad. Initially, Pro-tec sent a cover for a T@B 320 but when fitted needed a few alterations as the fit was not quite right. However, we contacted Pro-tec and without hesitation they completely remade another cover after we sent a few photos of the initial cover. Their remade cover fits like a glove!! They will now keep the pattern for other T@B 320 Offroad owners. We will have no hesitation in returning to Pro-tec in the future as they have been very professional. Particular thanks to Matt and his team for their customer care. You can trust Pro-tec to serve you well and they have our highest recommendation.
Repair of torn cover
I asked pro-tec if they could repair the cover of my motorhome, which I had torn when removing it. They did it very quickly and efficiently. They collected same day and 3 days later I had it back. I will certainly be using them again.
Vintage Airstream Cover
Given the age and shape of our Airstream we needed a bespoke cover. Contacted Protec following a recommendation from a fellow Airstream owner. Arranged to take it to their workshop on their day off as it fitted with our schedule. The Protec team were brilliant, taking measurements, pictures and fitting patterns to the individual panels. They made up the front end and sent it to us to check the fitting. We made a few adjustments before going ahead to make the entire cover. The finished cover was sent to us and it fitted really well.
Exceeded our expectations for a bespoke cover on a difficult profile.
Great team, great customer service, great company!
Difficult Vintage Airstream
My vintage American Airstream has sharp protruding rain guards above the windows, a large wifi/4g aerial on the roof, looks like a chimney, and a pull out awning attached to one side. It’s a recycled aeroplane fuselage. Any normal protective cover provider would have said ‘no chance’. Protec rose to the challenge and provided a bespoke cover, fit for purpose. Very pleased with it. My wife and I have fitted it for the first time, as per their video. I recently had back surgery and I am now an official OAP, it would have been easier with a third person at the A frame lifting the cover upwards, but we managed fine. Highly recommended; Protec are a top quality provider.
My second cover from Protec
My second cover from Protec. Like the first time, first class service, communication and price, a quality product from a professional company who recognise the value of their customers. I have no hesitation in recommending Protec.
camper 1500 motormover and Pro tec customer services
I purchased a camper 1500 motormover from Pro tec. This mover comes with a so called universal mounting bracket that is not universal. Pro tec agree that the Dutch company that provide the product supply a bracket that only fit some frames. They will only sell me another bracket at between £200 and £300 or might have something in there warehouse that will fit at a cost to me. If I didn't need the mover I would have sent it back. They offer no compensation and think it's OK to sell something not fit for purpose. I have now cut the bracket up with a grinder to make it fit. The mover itself is very good. But Pro tec, well you decide

I always buy their 'Easyfit' cover, makes an awkward job easy.
I always buy their 'Easyfit' cover, so much easier to fit.
When ordering I was given a delivery date - which they met, and prior to this informed me of it's progression through their system.
It fits perfectly, even down to the window for the solar panel, and certainly is of excellent quality, so put me down as a delighted customer.

Bought a cover in Nov 2018

Tow jacket for my Eriba Triton didn’t…
Tow jacket for my Eriba Triton didn’t fit - elasticated straps with hooks at the bottom of the jacket set too low and just dangled plus stitching for transparent light cover came away. Company not interested in resolving and may take weeks! Had to get it adjusted locally at an awning repair place at further cost. £200 for a product that’s poor quality and didn’t fit - I certainly wouldn’t recommend

Best customer service I have ever…
Best customer service I have ever received from this company I purchased my front towing jacket for our caravan over 2 years ago and the strap recently broke . I phone up to order and pay for a replacement. I spoke to a great bloke who knew everything about the product I had and sent me out a replacement free of charge including postage which I received yesterday.
Can’t thank them enough and makes a pleasant change to deal with a company and it be stress free and they actually do what they promise
Many thanks Protec I’ll definitely use you again and recommend you

Eriba nose cover
Ordered a nose cover for our Eriba (Nellie) - arrived very quickly but due to lockdowns, etc., we didn't try it for a while. Contacted Pro-tec as wrong strap sent, logo missing and we wanted to add some more poppers to it as Nellie has dimpled surface. After chatting with them explained situation and told to return it to them for sorting and for £15 added four extra poppers. Tested out for first time at weekend - brilliant - nose stayed clean, cover got slightly dirty, well it had been raining quite a bit and we do live in a Fen villiage - nose been covered in mud before we've left the village before now so well worth having - thoroughly recommend to Eriba bods !!! Well done guys / many thanks - R

Disappointed at tight and difficult fit
Bought a cover and had to provide dimensions, I measured twice and checked manufacturer dimensions and when cover arrived it was a tough job to fit and close the Velcro panel. I think they should allow a little tolerance. Large covers need 2 people and poles are not strong enough. Good material and does protect in the winter

I ordered my cover early January…
I ordered my cover early January without checking lead times. It has still not arrived after being in the sewing dept for 3 weeks. It is now 3rd week in March and no reply to emails. Specialised covers however have managed a 4 week lead time even through covid so if you need it in the same season you order I'd go for the latter. I assumed they would be about the same which is why I didn't check first. I'll let you know about quality if it arrives
It has arrived at last, I had visions of a little old lady with a needle and thread sewing away in the corner BUT it was worth the wait. It fits perfectly and is lighter than the universal one that was on and was so easy to put on. It is well made and looks like it will last a good time and looks the part. Well pleased, shame about the lead time but I won't mark it down for that.

Pro-tec cover…
Recently purchased a cover for my autotrail apache motorhome. Told at the time due to circumstances it would take approximately 12 weeks.
(totally understandable)
After a couple of emails to confirm sizes and locations of doors, mirrors etc.
I was told my cover will go into production in a couple of weeks.
From the ordering to delivery process communications via email or phone was first class.
On arrival it took my wife and myself, who are well into our 60ies approximately 30-45min to fit (see fitting cover explained on youtube).
Nice fit excellent quality.
For what is happening in the world at the moment first class service.
Ordered a basic caravan cover in…
Ordered a basic caravan cover in November 2020 , after chasing them for confirmation of the order two weeks later they gave a despatch and delivery of Late January 2021. Checked on progress today and they didn't even have the materials and were unable to provide a delivery date !
Communications terrible , recommend not to use , I have subsequently cancelled the order and gone with one of their competitors .
Excellent cover
Excellent cover. Fits my Elddis crusader like.like a glove.
Poor customer service and ever increasing lead times. Four to five weeks when ordering has now become nearly five months in total From my research Protec seemed to offer…
From my research Protec seemed to offer a high quality (but emphatically not cheap) product. Having just purchased a new campervan I placed an order for a cover with them over the phone, providing my credit card details. This was about 8 weeks ago. At the time their website quoted a lead time of around 4 to 5 weeks. The person I spoke to confirmed that this was right. I answered every single question posed to confirm my requirements. Around 2 weeks ago I received a letter from them stating that the lead time was now 9 to 10 weeks, and that they required a lot more information from me about the campervan before they could start manufacturing the cover. I emailed to raise my concerns, in particular asking why these additional details were not asked for when I placed the order. I also asked them to get the author of the letter to give me a call. Today (27 October 2020) I received an email advising me that the lead time was now 12 weeks! I've cancelled the order. If I had proceeded, I could at best have expected delivery nearly 5 months after first placing the order. They may well be great covers (although a number of the reviews say otherwise), but their customer service is in my view, poor, and the constantly increasing lead times quoted are arguably dishonest.
