It started as just an area of decking in my back garden several years ago. Then I decided to make it into a covered decking by providing a clear plastic corrugated roof, and eventually last year I decided to go yet a stage further and provide protection to just two sides.
I looked online for possible solutions, and Specialised Canvas offered exactly what I was seeking.
I provided them with the necessary dimensions (checking, rechecking and checking again to make sure I'd got them right!). My wife selected the most appropriate colour (good choice available), and after ordering, and subsequent receipt of confirming measurements, several weeks later the two sides were delivered.
Since delivery (Dec '23) the weather didn't offer much of chance to install the canvas sides, but in early Jan '24 I had assistance in installing them. The weather was kind, and in just a few hours the work had been completed.
I write this review the day after Storm Isha did her worst - the result? It was as if nothing untoward had happened in the country at all. Certainly this storm had no effect on the integrity of the canvas sides!
I'm very pleased with the result, and have no cause to regret my choice of product.
I received encouragement and assistance from this company from start to finish, and the available online instructional video was of great help.

Our awning was ripped out of the ground by a sudden unexpected squall and left on top of the caravan. Amazingly damage was largely limited to the stitching on the keder beading on one corner. Contacted Specialised Canvas and Team Leader Deanna Easton provided a quote the next day for the repairs based the photographs I sent. Deanna and her team ensured the repaired awning was available well within their quoted timescales, and ready for our next trip.
