proplus hedge trimmer

Have proplus hedge trimmer, worked ok first time then problems . On second time using starts ok but will not rev up , cuts out every time I press trigger. Leaked petrol from bung at tube, got leak fixed twice and now still won’t cut after starting . Disaster of a thing.

I bought the Pro Plus hedge trimmer 24”…

I bought the Pro Plus hedge trimmer 24” PPS760065 on 30April’21. Today is my 2nd day using it, it starts, runs and cuts very well. But already 3 parts have fallen off; the cover of the air filter, the white side cover and very seriously the swivel handle. The swivel handle falls off easily when doing the vertical cut- this is potentially very dangerous.

Proplus removes money from credit card and currently under investigation by the fraud squad

I am currently in dispute with Proplus for the sum of £375 that was taken from my credit card without my knowledge or consent until the RBS fraud squad contacted me. The government customers complaints department are also reviewing this case for under the law of goods never received act they must refund all the money taken. It was a very poor line and I was told they would refund within 5 week s and that back in August!!! I have never had an apology nor had an explanation or any goods in fact and think it is not only disgraceful but a despicable act on the companies behalf.

Canzana CBD Avoid ProPlus at all costs-nothing is free!

After looking at some CBD products online and signing up for a free trail I received my products but saw small charges(total £8) on my bank statement. As I hadn't received any emails or documentation from them I assumed they may have been postage charges etc.. When I started to look into it found that another 2 payments totalling £167 had been taken. I then contacted my bank to see what it was and they provided me with the contact details of ProPlus. I then contacted them and disputed all the charges and after a while they agreed to refund me the £167 but it may take a few weeks.
This was on the 19th October and now almost 2 months later I am still awaiting my refund.
I have rang (03303 3081575) them multiple times and each time its 3-5 days and it will be in your bank account but nothing and now the phone number doesn't even ring.
I have already opened a transaction dispute with my bank and provided them all the details.

So please avoid at all costs.

Beware! do not click on anything from this company. Basically they claim that if you get a free trial you then automatically opt in to a monthly subscription but how is anyone supposed to know that when they don't send any information or even emails to tell you that.

Keep an eye on your card transactions

I don't know much about this company but £85 was taken from my account via my visa card. When I telephoned them they alleged that I had ordered a canabis extract product. I did not receive any communication via email or text confirming that I had done so. However I had spent some time online researching such products and responded to some free offers the day before the transaction.
I responded by requesting they cancel the order and refund the money. The quality of the telephone connection was poor but the representative agreed to enact the refunded.
10 days later, the money has not been refunded so I telephoned again and over another very poor connection was informed that, in the earlier call, I had agreed to a 50% refund. I disputed this and after some discussion the representative agreed to a full refund which should take 2 to 3 weeks.
I will post future developments.
