Disgraceful

The way Progress Housing have handled my complaint regarding one of their tenants has been absolutely disgusting. It took police involvement after they ignored me for over six weeks for them to respond, and even still I have not had one single piece of formal correspondence despite initially contacting the officers that initially dealt with previous complaints. Yet their tenant continues with the same antisocial and disrespectful behaviour, replies from the general mailbox are painfully slow despite this apparently being an open case that someone will reach out to me about.

Tenants need to follow complaints…

Tenants need to follow complaints process in order to be able to complain to the Ombudsman. Progress fail to ensure that Tenants adhere to the rules set out in the Tenancy agreement, which they do not. How many Tenants have written permission for a pet,I wonder.I am not against pet ownership but I am against constantly barking dogs that cause distress. I am also against anti-social behaviour. Progress do very little when these two issues are reported. The Ombudsman can force them to act,we as Tenants cannot so,complain to Progress, take the matter to stage two and then contact the Ombudsman. This is the only way things will change and a good example of a social housing provider growing too large and allowing standards to slide!

Shambles of a business

Moved in to a property last month, had not heating, no hot water, no one showed me how to work anything. Had a leak under the sink, toilet broken, Ariel inside property corroded so no to, no grey bin & when you complain to them they say stop in all day & we’ll get to you sometime in the next 24hrs.
Absolute shambles of a business. No one cares, emails are ignored. ALL senior management want sacking… disgraceful. Oh but you still have to pay the rent & are quick to tell you your behind on it.

A disgrace!

My Autism support worker contacted Progess housing, Leyland, to ask age for housing. Told 55, however, very helpful lady told my support worker, they accept 52 year old with Autism. She said to ask me to ring & arrange a viewing. I rang later that day & was appalled by the disgusting customer service I received from call handler, who became abusive on phone towards me. I could not get a word in edgeways. Next day I rang again hoping to get better call handler. However, the lady that answered was worse than last call handler. I made official complaint online & received no response. In simple sentence, Progress housing, Leyland are a disgrace! There was no need for the hate towards an autistic person. I feel sorry for their tenants. Housing Ombudsman will be receiving my complaint & also the council.

Zero stars should be allowed for this bumch of Cowboys!!

If I could I would have given zero stars. Those people do what they want when it comes to servoce charges. Leasholders are getting robbed by them every day. Repair charges regarding solely to one property are recharged on all leasholders. No consultations, they do what ever they want. This company its a completely joke and bunch of thieves!!!!!!!

Not feeling Valued and very bad services,

Today I had a very bad experience with Progress Housing. I had an appointment with the joiner to fix the window, in my son’s bedroom on the 2nd of August 22, then they postponed it to the 8th of August, I didn’t complain as it's just a week not a month, even that I had to take half day off work. Then the Joiner came to fix window on the 8th of August 22, he came alone, he apologized that he could not fix it alone, he needs someone with him. He then contacted his boss to rearranged another day, they arranged another appointment for today 22nd of August 22. Again, I had to take another half day off work (as I don’t have any annual leave left, the half day of my absence will be deducted from my salary), so i have no choice, I waited today from 12:00 until 4 pm when an operator woman called me to tell me that it is not possible to send the joiner today to fix the window. I was shocked, I felt so angry that I wanted to cry.
This is beyond a joke.
I’m very disappointed

Useless service and uncontactable

No staff to answer calls for over 3 months... no live chat.... online account locked and unable to reach anyone to resolve this. Communal area not cleaned for over 6 months. Absolutely useless and need reporting to the local authorities as no support given and repairs not done as they blame you for double glazing "blown" because you breathe and release mositure. Water through bathroom wall/ceiling over 4 weeks now... no visit and just cannot get through. Do not rent anywhere from them as you will be left in a mess
