Emma was incredible with my 7 year old. I wish we had found her years ago. My son had wax which had probably been there since he was 4 when we last sought NHS and private help but got nowhere. It took 3 attempts of patient, encouraging care to get it out, but at no additional cost. His hearing has noticeably improved and we are all delighted.

I am a regular user of this facility. I always receive very good service in a friendly but professional way. The procedure is straightforward and Jacquie always explains what she is doing.

Friendliness; careful treatment; timekeeping. Actually enjoyable

Friendly team. I did not have any wax but it was clearly explained why I may be getting discomfort in my ear. I was given options of how to move forward.

As always they sorted out the problem that somewhere else didn’t.

Very easy to book. On my arrival at the required time there was no waiting and the reception was very friendly and professional. My ears were inspected and wax removed - very quick and no discomfort! When my ears need checking again I will certainly return to Better Ears. Thank you!

I have been going to the private ear clinic for a few years - after an allergic reaction to some ear drops I now suffer from eczema in my ears and Emma Smith is absolutely great - I don’t suffer from wax but she microsuctions dead skin which just builds up and makes me a bit deaf.

From booking an appointment through to treatment was profession and easy. Booking was on line so very straightforward. My appointment was on time (actually 5 minutes early!). Staff were friendly and made the whole experience pleasant ( as far as wax removal can be !). My ears were checked before treatment to be sure i needed work before starting. Costs were very competitive so I have no problem recommending them.

Had blocked ear for a week, very unsettling. Made a next day booking at the clinic.
Welcomed on arrival and straight into the treatment room. After 5 minutes gentle syringing, hey presto, I can hear again!
Would definitely recommend.

The treatment of wax removal in my blocked ear was successful , but when the clinician moved to the ear which didn't appear to me to have a problem , it all went wrong from there.The suction was uncomfortable a little heavy handed at times as i felt some pain.The ear then became steadily more painful throughout the day.The following day after speaking to a member of the team at Private -Ears .com I was advised to make a to doctors appointment due to increasing pain .The doctor found a small tear in the eardrum and an infection . I was not suffer from pain in that ear before the treatment so unfortunately the outcome wasn't good . Two lots of antibiotics later,and I'm still suffering with the infection, seemingly I will just have to wait for the eardrum to heal. I have used this service before and not encountered any problems but unfortunately not the best outcome this time around.

This was my third annual visit to the Private Ear Clinic for wax removal and, as usual, I am very happy with the outcome.
