I just love waking up in the morning and reading national newspapers on my tablet in bed with a cup of tea. What could be better? And there’s all the international papers and magazines too when I want.

Press Reader is an excellent way to keep up to date with news and current affairs and gives me access to a wide range of newspapers and other publications. Unfortunately the Times of London and one Sussex local paper are not included. The very occasional glitches are swiftly resolved by Press Reader's technical team.

PressReader is easy to access and features top dailies and periodicals. I use it every day to keep abreast of world and more local events.

Great app. More people should be using it as it gives access to daily newspapers and monthly magazines through your local library for free !

Can’t praise service enough. Wide choice of international literature that is easy to access. My only complaint is that one particularly magazines type face causes to be scrambled making it unreadable.

A friend told me about Press Reader being free if you have a library membership. Such a great perk if you hold a library membership

Not only is the platform free to use, being provided by the local Council, but the format is easy to use. The publications are presented in the familiar format of the printed versions. Once downloaded onto e.g. a tablet, the publication can be read away from Wi-Fi connections just as, say, a newspaper can be taken and read elsewhere. Press reader offers a very wide range of publications so one can download several newspapers.
