Beware of Clicking on Ads when using QR Codes
I inadvertantly clicked on this; it was an ad on a QR code scanning app that's on my phone. I gave my card details & when I realised that I had signed up & monthly subscriptions 39.99 (a currency wasn't specified) would be taken out, there was no way to cancel the subscriptions online. I finally was able to track them down using the bank reference on the payment they took out of my account. They made it exceptionally difficult to just cancel the thing online. The handling company that I was able to contact by phone was in Bournemouth UK, calling itself TVieva247.com. In fairness, when I spoke to Patricia, their customer service person, she assured me that the subscription would be cancelled immediately. It's just a shame that the company/companies Mediastreamconnect.com or Premiumcontent.online coudn't have been more upfront on their web pages by displaying a cancellation button/option. It certainly does not help their credibility.
