Sadly,if I could rate it less than 1 star I would give them at least -5.Very unprofessional I don’t know how they still run it!!!!
I was visiting family in Pisa and wanted to send a calendar A4 size with a family pictures to other couple of family members as they live elsewhere in Italy.Well ,one would think it would be easy😉
But not in Poste italiane in Pisa Via Luccese branch!
As I entered the post office there was nobody behind the windows.It appeared as there was not staff only one lady customer filling a form.I got myself a ticket from the machine and straight away my number appeared on the display at window or desk right in front of the door.Lady came to a desk ,no greetings,no smile,nothing🤷‍♀️
So ,I said with my limited Italian where in Italy I would like to send my calendars(wrapped in Jiffy bags).
With a very abrupt manner she interrupted me and said “pacco” couple of times and dismissed me!When I asked what am I suppose to do ?How to send it?She was repeating pacco!!!When I said they can’t work like that she said that I am not to express my opinion about the service!
Well,I brought it back with me and posted it at my local post office this morning ,no problem.So it had to travel back to Slovakia with me in order to send it!
Well traveled calendars🤣
Would not recommend it and if the Poste Italiane is to survive,it needs to improve a lot!!
Starting with staff training!and maybe 🤔 even replacement!

They have cost me over €600 euro .. they never deliver to us NEVER. I ordered chairs , decorations , and cussions all different websites all with Poste IT. They don't want to deliver to us for no reason? We moved here and they always say that the adress is not complete but it is.. It makes me want to cry. I don't feel at home here because so much stuff is missing because of
Poste IT. They don't even keep it sorted for me to pick up they just ghost me. I always ask companies please do not send with them.. My adress is good all the other delivery companies come here..

It's like I'm in Africa!
Every time I have to receive a shipment from abroad, my hair turns white!
My last unpleasant experience with them was with two packages of jewelry that I bought online from Ukraine.
The people there are at war, but despite this, they made several updates daily about the movement of the shipment.
Since the day the packages arrived in Italy - NOTHING!
It's been two weeks now!
The Italian post office seems to be full of wild boars!
Competence - none!
Self-esteem - impressive!
And IF (by chance) they deliver your shipment, the package looks like it was transported in a truck full of pigs!
They have the audacity to ask me:
"Will you recommend us to your friends?"
Oh my mighty God!
I will NOT recommend Poste Italiane to my worst enemy!!!

Postie Italianie executives should be on criminal trial for stealing life savings, disgusting corruption and the police and carabinari do absolutely nothing to jail
Postie Italianie staff who refuse to close accounts when customers ask.

Poste Italiane is unprofessional in every possible way. They are experts at losing packages and providing zero updates. You honestly have a better chance of a river delivering your package to its destination than this service.

My parcel was sent from Italy to Poland and after 14 days, it is still in Milano. You can't contact anyone because the system just keeps asking you to press another button. When you go to the post office, you have a massive queue.
Don't use this service it is a joke.
Find a courier company if you want send parcel!!!!!!!!

The italian post office and generally, the italiam bureaucracy is a joke. Tell me why, to pick up a package of the smallest calliber that happened to be dropped off at a poste italiane office - I have to wait an hour in line. TO PICK UP A PACKAGE!

Worst possible delivery service in the whole world, out of 10 Vinted orderes I ordered through them NOT ONE ARRIVED!!!

The Italian postal service is the worst I've ever come across ... and I've come across many 🤦🏻‍♂ My local post office shuts early. Letters and parcels are damaged.
Closed at least 15 minutes early!!!!!

One of the worst and most harassing delivery services in the WORLD! I have never had any problem with deliveries with government posts, but ITALY, the worst so far! Besides, the staff for delivery - totally arrogant and egoistic! Wouldn’t call and would just levy extra charges on the customer- PURE PATHETIC… and more so, I still haven’t received my package even after repeated attempts to correct what they say is “wrong address”

Really the worst Postal service ive had the misfortune of experiencing.

In the 8 moths that I've lived here ive had 4 packaged that they has "has been delivered" but they just didn't. When trying to contact customer support it doesn't work half of the time and when it does they are not willing to cooperate at all. Telling me the package has been delivered and if I want further information I need to contact the business that I bought from.

I live up a hill and they are just to lazy to drive up, but this causes serious delay up to a moth or more for something that should take 3-4 days.

I live in porretta terme tbh they are one of the best company ive ever seen they always bring it in time never had a problem with them at all and they are so friendly

Haven’t received parcel. Have sent 6 emails over the last week without a single reply. Absolutely shit service, do better

It’s the most unreliable shipping company that I have evert encountered, if you think it’s bad think twice it’s disastrous, a sender from Italy used Poste italia international express at premium cost to send a small packages for me to the U.K. and the package was sold at the premium fee similar to ups and fedex cost to be delivered around 3-5 working days , now it’s been 3 weeks and parcel tracking says moved from Italy to Germany after 3 weeks , tried to contact the customer service but nobody answers your phone or your email at all , usually delivery times by other company like DHL or UPS or FEDEX cost the same fees and it takes maximum 2-3 working days for express shipping to be delivered from Italy to U.K. something which I do all the time and never had any problems but Poste italia is a joke it’s scam they advertise and sell there products by lies and deception, they take your money for extremely poor service then disappear and they never take any responsibility and they have no decency or integrity to talk to customers. avoid this company at any cost don’t use se them it’s a scam .

In the beginning of August posted a birthday card to Belgium. It's the end of August and it still hasn't arrived in Belgium yet.

it’s worse than DMV in America. Nothing works, people are super rude, nothing ever gets delivered. I ordered from Amazon Italy and it was the worst experience of my life. Customer service hang up on me when I asked where is my package.

Sadly, I can't rate it less than one star.
It's been almost 2 months since I've been struggling with a courier who comes from Bari Carassi to Torre a Mare. I don't know the reason (lazy, stup..., ret...), but he simply doesn't come deliver my packages and states "Recepient not at home" and straightaway returns it to the sender (!), while I am in fact at home, even receiving other packages from other Poste Italiane couriers on the same day.

And there you go, a great example of how governmental institutions are the worst, because I know this won't be solved, and this courier won't get fired.
