Very professional service

Nick so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Explained every bit of the procedure as he went along. Cleared up and left space immaculate. Overall a very positive experience.

Needed helm at 1:45am and they were…

Needed helm at 1:45am and they were there. My charger had disconnected from wifi and become locked. Remote team were able to log in reset the unit and had my card charging in 15mins. Fantastic customer service and not expected so late at night.

Poor service, now trying to get my deposit refunded

I paid a sizable deposit and provided information for my installation. Their default method is to trunk cabling across walls, I did not wqant this so provided a plan how to route cabling. Support told me Operations team will be in touch, weeks later I've had no follow up. I've tried calling them and emailing support to get it moving. Eventually I cancelled the installation and a month later I'm still waiting for my deposit to be refunded.

Absolutely amazing from start to…

Steve was Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The engineer was absolutely great answered any questions i had, talked me through everything before he started and made sure i was comfortable with things and also cleaned up before he left.

I had an issue with my home charger not working

I had an issue with my home charger not working after having not used it for several months. Nicasio was very helpful and was able to determine that the issue was caused by our having solar panels installed since the last time the charger was used, and this can require the system to be reset. Nicasio was able to do this remotely and the problem weas resolved. Great customer service!

Excellent customer support from Pod

Extremely efficient process of contacting and getting a response from Pod support for a problem with my home charger. It was all fixed and working within 20 minutes. Thanks to Rhiza for talking me through the solution.

No installation date after payment (£1149) 5 weeks ago.

Put simply, there is no real customer service from POD. On my initial enquiry, I was told a charger could be fitted within two weeks, so I completed the online survey there and then, and payment was taken instantly (£1,149).

Weeks passed with no contact from POD. Calling them is frustrating, with wait times of 20–30 minutes and no callback service available. Emails take 2–3 days to get a response, and even then they often fail to answer the actual query. The replies come across as generic copy-and-paste responses rather than genuine customer support.

When I did eventually hear back from them, they suddenly required a video of my property, despite already confirming that my survey had been completed and qualified for a standard installation. I then had to set up a file-sharing service just to send the video to them, and needless to say, they couldn’t even be bothered to download it.

At that point, I cancelled the order and am now waiting for a refund, which they claim will take 10–15 days. This is truly disgraceful, especially when payments are taken instantly. I’m still waiting for a proper explanation as to why POD needs so long to process a refund.

Resolving a problem

Left my car to charge overnight only to find it had stopped working. Did everything it said in the booklet and followed all the online advice, it still kept cutting out. I rang the helpline not sure if anyone would answer on a Sunday, after a few minutes with a n automated assistant I was put through to on call. He listened to everything I said, asked a few questions, gave me clear instructions and within ten minutes I was up and running. He made some adjustment to the settings remotely. I found thecexperience quick, troublefree and efficient especially on a Sunday. It would have been a 5 star if it hadn't been for the automated barrier. Otherwise we'll.done Pod point.

Highly unprofessional service

Highly unprofessional service. The charger stopped working three days ago. An engineer visit was arranged and then cancelled at the last moment after I had already taken the day off work. Now they are offering another appointment five days later on a day when I am not even available.

This means I have effectively been left without a working charger for more than a week. Luckily, I have another charger from a different company which has always worked perfectly and never given me any issues. Otherwise, I would have been forced to rely on public charging because this Pod Point charger seems to never work properly.

Customer service has been extremely poor throughout. Also, the tethered version of this charger feels very flimsy and low quality. I would definitely not recommend buying the tethered model.

I found it so hard to get in touch with…

I found it so hard to get in touch with them, although helpful once getting through to them, I just hope if anything goes wrong with the charger we don’t have the same palaver. Chap who fitted it, was very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
