Terrible experience

Terrible. Let me talk to people that hardly speak English and dont understand what I’m saying to transfer me to three different departments just to send me back to the original and tell me I can’t get a refund on a game (little nightmares 3) just because I downloaded it. Took over an hour. I’d go to Xbox if I didn’t just like everything else about PlayStation more. Except gamepass of course. And btw little nightmares 3 is NOT couch co-op which was the whole reason I bought it. Ridiculous.

worse customer service ever need help and they are not available at the weekend but are quick enough to take my money, my disabled child was ban for offensive langguge but you can't even appeal i know it's not right but there was more to it than what they see and should of at least gave us a chance to explan what went on the fact that you can't appeal is wrong

Playstation 5 last year

I got it, and it works so smoothly. Fast loading, smooth graphics, much better than previous versions. So far I’m playing cyberpunk 2077 and it feels great.

PlayStation giftcard con

My son has wanted a PlayStation for years and we haven't been able to afford one. So for his birthday, he was given PlayStation giftcards by everyone amounting to £400. We set up an account and added these to the wallet in order to purchase a PS5, only to later find out you cannot use your wallet funds for hardware! No where did it stipulate that on the giftcards. I am absolutely gutted as I now have £400 sat in a wallet but no PlayStation! I've tried to send messages via chat, Instagram and call, to no avail. Absolutely shocking that you cannot reach out to anyone and just so stressful. Can anyone help please?

Terrible customer service and…

Terrible customer service and anti-consumer policies. 30 years I've been PS exclusive and I've spent thousands on their consoles and games. Yesterday I purchased the wrong game and asked to exchange it - not for a refund, just for the correct game in the series. It would cost them nothing to do this and would have been a nice good-will gesture to show a bit of leniency to reward 30 years of customer loyalty. But they don't seem to value loyalty or care about their customers at all. So next gen I will make the move to Steam Machine, and no longer bothering with Sony. They've lost a life-long customer.

Playstation account THEFT!

Worst company ever!!! They treat theyre customers like trash! My playstation account was hacked (shocking right 🙄). Upon hacking my account the theift charged hundreds of dollars to my card for game etc... I call to let them know my account was hacked. They proceed to tell me the couldn't reverse the charges. So I called my bank to reverse the stolen money. Everything whent back into my account everything was ok..... WRONG...
I proceed to play some games well now my playstation account is locked and cant unlock my account until "I" pay the covered stolen amount!!! What kind of scam are u pulling SONY!! ALLOW THIEFS TO HACK MY ACCLUNT AND THEN FORCE YOUR CUTOMER TO PAY BACK THE STOLEN AMOUNT IS BEYOND EXCEPTABLE!! I cannot believe u are in business for this mind blowing experience iv had with your product. Why wont u make it right!!!

The worst CS I have ever experienced

Hands down the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Can't call, only option is chat. Took 30 minutes to get through the AI, and I'm not even sure if it was a real person or they just said they were. Couldn't solve my simple recurring login issue. Essentially said they dont know why it happens, it shouldn't. No resolution.

the thieving company Sony once again tried to steal money from my bank account
I bought a yearly subscription about a year ago! I was supposed to get free games, but I didn't receive any.
I have never supported thieves and I will never support thieves
The games I have are on a disk and I had to buy them in a store not Sony but Tesco for 100% of the price
Sony blocked my account because they don't want to pay protection money for nothing
Once again I repeat that Sony is a scammer and a thief. Do not pay them anything. If they withdraw the transaction from the bank themselves, do not pay them anything.

Bought a playstation for my son

Bought a playstation for my son. His account has now been permanently suspended for basically nothing rendering his digital playstation useless. Paid 500 euros and now has to go in the bin. I would advise anyone to avoid buying a playstation as it is too high a risk. If they think I'm gona run out and buy another they can think again. People should boycott this idiotic company.

Wow they locked my account so I lost 2000+ games my premium and all my trophies for 8 years + the chat bot ovs a robot the live people must also be robots all scripted copy and paste conversation I provided all be i.d. required apart from an e mail receipt which had been deleted without that I can't recover my account and they don't care I even got my bank statement as proof nope not interested I wish I never joined playstation now they are thieving scoundrels 👊🤬

Terrible Support

During Black Friday there was a game deal. I purchased a digital gift card so that I can get that game. The order failed on their end, and the deal ended early. I called and was transferred to someone else who was supposedly able to help get that game at the discounted price. I called them, and they told me that because it changed already, they can't do anything about it. So sucks to be you. If I were you, just avoid buying anything from PlayStation, and if you can, avoid using their support system.

Before purchasing be aware that even if you buy the game, you still have to put your credit card in the system

Before purchasing, please be aware that you will be tied to Sony and PlayStation financially. They are using tools. I find unethical. Before my recurring PlayStation service membership was due. I tried to remove my credit card. When I remove it, it gave a notice of a ending service one year from the time that I removed it a later, checked my account to find that they had charged me for another year at a higher rate than the previous year a purchase that I had not agreed to. After waiting on the phone for over two hours for the second day,, the webbot said that I couldn’t be refunded. The website says if I canceled within 14 days that I could be refunded. This is two days later I cannot get a refund.
This situation started with me trying to play one of the call of duty games that I currently own. Only to find that they have automatically installed the latest Call of Duty® and I can’t play mine unless I buy the new game. I’ve tried several times to uninstall the new game and just use mine with no positive results every time I uninstalled theirs. It tells me I have to install theirs in order to play. Unethical yes. If I were the parent of a child that placed the system and they came to me saying they just wanted the new game without no understanding that they have been hijacked. By the system itself, please be aware. and my credit card is still in the system.. I have a firm understanding of technical items, but this is a loop that needs to be investigated

Fraudulently billed my son through Boku resulting in over £120 of charges on his mobile phone account. My son dies not have a Playstation and nobody else had access ti his phone. A quick search shows that this is a long running issue. Why is Playstation enabling ongoing fraud? There is no text code or any other form of confirmation for these charges. 14 attempts made in 6 days, 4 of which went through. Why did that not trigger an alert.
Playstation should not be using any payment method that is not secure.

My account was hacked no refund given

My account was hacked. I couldn't get to speak to anyone at playstation so I opened a case with PayPal. Later I got to speak to someone at playstation network who told me they would issue a refund if a can cancel the case with PayPal. I did this only to be told they couldn't issue the refund. They then made out that I had said I would reopen the case with PayPal which I never once said. They then closed the chat giving me no time to discuss further. No mention of an apology for my account being hacked and basically lied to me with no resolution.
