I joined a year ago knowing I loved netball but hadn’t played it for over 10 years! The teams understand that you are new to netball and are very friendly and warming when you join. You get to know all the other teams in the league too so it’s great to meet new people. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the price of the matches. £40 is a little more expensive than the other leagues I now play in. However, of all the leagues I have played in Play Netball is my favourite.

Absolutely awful umpiring and when I simple asked to explain what my penalty was for I got told that I was being rude and arguing with a 'professional umpire'. I completely understand that you should not argue with the umpire and that is is a really tough job. Especially trying to see everything but it made me really dislike netball and I had to £6 for a game ! I now play on a Monday and Wednesday elsewhere and absolutely love it ! Thank you very much.

I’ve been playing netball through Play Netball for the last 4 years, and I love it! Sticking with something for that long is a testament to not only the team I play with, but to those who manage each league, the umpires, and of course those behind the scenes of Play Netball. The Newbury league has grown so much since I started, and has continued to thrive! I am very grateful for all the hard work that goes into making playing the sport I love so easy!

Play Netball is an amazing community for woman interested in Netball. Everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly, and it’s great exercise!

Games are cheap, ranging from £5-£8 and I have made some incredible friendships since joining. Recently changed to an online system, which did take a while to get used too but has made paying for games easier.

Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get back into

I can highly recommend Play Netball as a great way of keeping fit and meeting new people all whilst enjoying a netball match and gaining new skills. Even people who haven't played for years come back week after week. It's great fun and everyone is really friendly.

Really enjoying playing netball again after 15 years out. Sociable and fun, competitive too but the fun is not lost!

Newbury netball league is run well. Friendly and helpful umpires. Very organised co-ordinator.

I was really nervous about joining a team of players I didn't know to play a game that i hadn't played for around 20 years. I found i wasn't the only one. My game and fitness improved so fast and i soon got into it. I absolutely love playing every week now and really recommend it.
