Second time working with Bruce for work to my home, great service, good communication and very helpful. I would definitely recommend his services

I cannot recommend Bruce highly enough. He was patient, committed well and was reliable. I would say Bruce went above and beyond with my project and I am very grateful for all he did.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Bruce at Plan-It. He explained everything & nothing was too much trouble, he communicated well & kept us right with the planning and legislation side of things. He quickly grasped what we wanted & came back to is with a great design solution. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommended him!

We built a large extension to the side of our house and found Bruce's friendly service through 'Plan-It' is excellent. His knowledge and experience is clearly evident through his work. From my initial contact onwards, Bruce has been quick to respond to queries and deliver when promised. We were kept up to date throughout the application process and the quality of his work is high. He had no problem making amendments after we changed our mind on some details of the design and was readily available to answer any questions we raised at different times. He was also able to put us in touch with other professionals when the need arose. Like Bruce, the structural engineer he recommended was very professional and quickly delivered what was required to a high standard. Bruce has also made himself available to our builders to answer any queries at short notice and without hesitation. I also found that after shopping around, his rates were very reasonable. I cannot recommend Bruce highly enough and would not go elsewhere if I require architectural services again.

Bruce helped us apply for a building warrant to open up a load bearing wall. Bruce provided a great service and made the whole process seem smooth and straight forward.

I was looking for advice on a removal of an interior wall. Bruce was quick to respond and explained everything that I needed. Following up the next day with an email confirming all. I would happily recommend Bruce and plan it to anyone needing his services.

I've used Plan-It three times over the years including a major house extension (adding 7 rooms) and a large double garage. Great comms, reasonable price and a professional job backed by real-world experience which was a comfort throughout the planning, build and sign off phases.

I approached Plan-It-Design in August 2020 when thinking about extending my garage. I wanted to use someone local and found Bruce on google maps. Having looked at his website I gave him a phone. I explained I was new to all this and wasn't sure where to start. Bruce came up to the house and we had a chat about the project and explained what he would do for me and guided me through the whole process. I know have everything I need in place to start building this summer. Thanks again Bruce

Plan it build it took on our request to downsize our original house into a main door flat and garden flat . This was a huge job and included building into our cellar to create a kitchen , dining area and walk in storage, small utility room and additional toilet as well as building an extension which was to become our lounge . The work took a long time due to the scale of the project and waiting on utilities etc . It was absolutely worth it . We have been in our garden flat for 5 years and it was the best decision we made in advance of our retirement. Bruce made sure that we were updated on a weekly basis , ensured that our budget was adhered to and resolved problems eg with water and energy suppliers . Build it , the construction side of the family business owned by Colin ( Bruce’s son ) carried out the work and we are delighted with our new home .
