No wonder why PIA incurs huge losses and has lost the credibility amongst international as well as local passengers.
Blatant breach of safety standards by travelling a lady in the cockpit during take off, flight and landing.....
PIA flight PK 456, Skardu to Karachi on 17 April 2024.
Safety of flight and passengers was seriously compromised by Protocol or personal relationships when a young lady with long hair, in casual dress, was observed to enter the cockpit of the aeroplane, and remained inside the cockpit during the take off, entire duration of flight, and the landing operations thus by-passing all safety procedures, risking everyone's life, and the property.

Flight departure was initially brought forward by 30 minutes but about 15 hours prior to departure it was announced to be late by 5 hours. These 5 hours could not be utilised due to short notice of change.

PIA flight PK 455, Karachi to Skardu on 13 April 2024 had schedule changes/delays when initially they announced 30 minutes prior schedule departure and few hours prior departure they announced delay of 2 hours, then 30 minutes and 30 minutes twice, and actual departure was further delayed by another 45 minutes, so total delay of 3H 45M in last few hours of scheduled departure

Worst service. They canceled my return flight from Karachi to Multan two weeks ahead and changed it to 3 days after the original schedule. These unprofessional PIA Staff cannot arrange an alternative plane in 2 weeks.

It was very bad Staff very rude, and very unhelpful very corrupted people recently my flight was connecting from Islamabad to London from Islamabad to Karachi. I traveled with PIA international airline. On fifth of March. I bought a ticket was saying I’m allowed 25 KG weight +7 KG on hand but they did not allow me take my hand luggage because they were asking me to give them money to take a bag seven KG. Which was corrupted because this is not happened anywhere else in the world except Pakistan because I’ve been traveing 19 years and I never seen this case only happened with PIA I will never travel again with this airline. and I will let people know as well. If you can word this airline.

Pathetic and unpleasant experience.
I asked for window seat as I am travelling solo but got different seat.
Staff is extremely unprofessional and passing irrelevant comments.
No one should ever fly with PIA.
Worst experience.

Flight Cancellations

They will cancel and delay the flights at the last minute and you will have to book expensive tickets with another airline.
Please do not book

Flights from PIA is always delay also there staff behavior very bad.

In June 2023, I booked a flight from Lahore to Karachi leaving on the 5th of January 2024 in the evening (20:00 p.m.).
Starting from June, they comunicated me several chancing in the departure time and, then, that my flight was first moved to the 6th and, then, to the 7th of January (unfortunately I had my intercontinental flight starting from Karachi on the 6th, early in the morning).
Furthermore, I couldn't modify my booking by means of the Pakistan Airline web site anymore.
The telefon number of their Office in Italy (Milan) was not responding and Pakistan Airlines never never responded to the emails I sent to their main Office in Karachi.
Thanks to the help of an Islamabad tour operator, at the end the problem seemed to be solved, and the correct booking confirmed.
Unfortunaly, just a few days before the departure, Pakistan Airline comunicated me a further change in the deperture time and, subsequently, that the flight was deleted, even if it still appeared correctly on Pakistan Airlines web site, that allowed me also to buy, for the flight itself, some more options, like snacks and more hold baggage.
Tour operator told me that it was all O.K., but the evening of departure, the flight wasn't on the airport scoreboard.
The Pakistan Airlines Office at the airport only told me "I'm sorry, the flight is deleted" without proposing me any alternative solution and/or an accomodation for the night.
Furthermore, it is practically impossible for me to be refunded, as I don't know where ask for that, as they don't reply to emaisl and they seem not to have an office in Italy any more, even if it still is indicated on their web site.
I think it would better to stay away from this airline.

And PIA Supervisor we think because she was not telling the name and one ASF guy told her name which we think is Fake Mrs Rabiya (Gangster)
My brother and cuzons was stopped at airport they had confirmed 5 seats coming back to Dubai.
One of The Staff Member Rabiya was on check in desk and said we can only give you 4 seats right now 5 th we can not give you because plane is full.
That's there trick to ask money for 5th seat as a bribe.
My brother denied for money and she threat him of you do not pay we will cancel all your tickets.
My brother cuzon was shocked how anyone can cancel there tickets for no reason or we all have to pay this gangsters as a tax to leave Pakistan.
AlhumdulilAllah we can afford one more tickets and can come back to Dubai and next time we will never choose PIA ( Pakistan Air Line ) for travelling but what about a labor class which they can not afford even this ticket who will look after them.
And when she cancelled there tickets and they made video of her what she did then she started black mailing that she will not return there luggage unless they will remove the videos.
And will try our level best to move everyone out from this country.

You are most likely to lose your money if you have booked a PIA flight. Istanbul route is very risky because of people who have claimed asylum in Europe, pay bribe to fly from islamabad. For gulf route there is overbooking and flight cancellation. Also, corruption and bullying is on rise

No time management.Direct flight was changed into connection. 2 hours late. AC was not working inside the plane. Engine was not starting. Pathetic service.

Perfect take off and landing. Service by Cabin crew was excellent specially by steward Adeel Aziz, Syed Ali Haider and Air hostess Shazia Rizvi on PK 784 YYZ/KHI 29 Jun 2023 my Seat 25A.
Condition of aircraft was pathetic.

Except for carrying more weight than other flights, PIA is just a junkyard. Better to pay extra but do not purchase PIA ticket, otherwise you will regret.

I wouldn’t give this airline even 1 star. Worst service ever. Firstly I was travelling with my 2 & 3 year old and they gave us separate seats then blamed us for being late when we were not late. Families behind us were giving seats together. Cabin crew were horrible they shouted at us either sit down or leave the plane. They didn’t get it that a 2 & 3 year old can’t sit by themselves with complete strangers. In the end my husband had 2 year old in his knee and I had 3 year old in my knee in seats far away from each other. We were not given additional safety belts. Not all staff were bad some were very kind and understanding but matters were out their hands.

Worst Services. my flight timings were 11.10 pm and the flight got delayed till o1:00 am without any notice. and then still we waited one hour more till 2 am.

Worst possible travel experience for this price! Horrible food, dirty aircraft and washrooms, rudest ever cabin crew, and 0 regard for passengers’ time, safety, and comfort. Humble suggestion, charge people for what you provide or start providing for what you charge!

I have bought 4 tickets of PIA partially operated by turkish airline from skyscanner 'flightcatchers' for manchester to islamabad via Istanbul. PIA changed my flight route from islamabad to lahore and informed me only 1 day before flight I ring them many times that charges me lot of money for international calls but they haven't resolved the issue and the much worse thing happened when I arrived at manchester Airport for departure they told me your flight is cancelled by agent and agent said it is cancelled by PIA and PIA said it is cancelled by Turkish airline and I went back home bought new tickets of another flight much expensive and applied for refund. Never ever fly with PIA till you find positive reviews about pia the whole system of Pakistan is corrupt. I ll definitely sue them.

I had a flight to Pakistan via PIA.
At this point it is important to mention that I am a 69 year old amputee who is wheelchair bound.

The problem occurred when I needed to go to the washroom. I asked to be transported to the toilet a staff member said they didn't have a smaller wheelchair (which they would need to take me to the toilet) then they said they have a wheelchair but they refused to transport me stating that I would have to transport myself. The behaviour and attitude of these staff members was absolutely dispicable not only were they rude and dehumanising they made me feel very ashamed for having asked to use the toilet.

This is not something that I would expect of any airline let alone PIA. It is a airline I have been very loyal towards however I write this review because I know a complaint to PIA would not make a difference. But also to warn those that are like me who are vulnerable to avoid this airline for I fear the treatment they may receive.
