It seems to filter water well but
It seems to filter water well. I am not a lab and cant really test it to say for sure. It is nice not having to depend on a plastic filter system in this day and age. However, the construction is not great. The cardboard box has more thickness than the metal housing. Very thin and seemingly cheap. The instructions say to install the spout hand tight only because you could damage the flimsy metal. In doing so, the spout actually spins a bit in use if youre not careful. It doesnt leak because of the gasket inside and outside but I can foresee the leak coming if it continues to spin. Being an HVAC contractor that uses tin snips often, my grip is better than most and with that advantage, it still spins a bit. I also learned after I bought and built it, that there is no way to monitor water level unless you go back to the company and buy a additional different spout that has some ability to see the water level. The jury is not out on it yet but it may be going back.

I love the product
I love the product, however, I had a problem with the replacement of the new filters. I installed them but no water came through the spout. I called your help line and got a woman that I could not understand!! I got weary of asking her to repeat herself and ended the call. Very frustrating and disappointing.

All stainless steel. Got the small one for one person that gives me good tasting water for the day. I didn’t want plastic water bottles clogging up the landfills so it’s serves two purposes. Glad I did.

I recently purchased the Phoenix travel…
I recently purchased the Phoenix travel gravity filter for when when we take trips. It's perfect size and is well made. It comes with a stainless steel spigot which is a plus since many filtration systems like my Royal Berkey gravity filter system come with plastic ones that start leaking shortly after you begin using them. I purchased some spare black carbon filters from another company and instead of receiving them I received two fluoride filters, not just once but twice. I then decided I would call Phoenix water filtration and give them a try and I'm so happy that I did. I received the best customer care one could ever expect. I explained my previous encounters with the other company sending the incorrect water filters twice and how it took a lot of phone time and travel time to return them. The Phoenix representatives were empathic and professional. I explained that we would be leaving on vacation in a week. The representative said she'd check with their team to see if they had the filters and the ETA and once she knew she's call me back. I think it was less than an hour that she did giving me the information I needed to make a decision. I was so impressed with the high level of customer service and communication that I needed to make my decision. I had several other questions over the day to come and emailed customer service and each time I received an immediate response that was thorough above and beyond my expectations. I'm very impressed with the product and most of all the customer care I have received. I will be switching all my future needs over to Phoenix where I know I'll be taken care of right.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They simply tell you that whatever is not working with your filter is your fault. Also, the filter is garbage. Don’t buy it.

I like that the stainless steel spigot came standard. Customer service was very prompt answering a question I had before I ordered. I'm so pleased with the first machine I bought for my daughter that I've ordered two more for additional family members. This time I've also purchased the fluoride/arsenic filters. I like that they are refillable, unlike others I've ordered from another company in the past.

*Update* It took a few days of back and forth, but they gave me a full refund. They seem to only email or respond around 9-10 am CST.
It is too hard to get a hold of the company. They even got my name wrong when they replied to my request to cancel my order and attached another unhappy customer to my email. I hope to get my money back.

Horrible experience with this company. I sent the item back to them. Claimed to have great return policy no questions asked. It had missing pieces and they tried to play bait and switch games. I sent item back- had to pay $35 which they would not credit me, and they NEVER issued Refund. They ignored all my emails and contacts BEWARE of this company. Had to dispute this with my credit card. Horrible
