I bought the salt and pepper grinder 11 months ago. They started off well but after 8 months the salt one has given up. With the amount these cost you would think that you would get a quality product, unfortunately this is not true.

I have noticed some negative reviews for Peugeot Saveurs, but having bought from them just once, from their French webshop which also works with English language, I have to say that I am quite excited - I experienced very good and fast service.
I already had one of their very nice baking dishes, and I wanted an additional one. A wrong delivery from a local webshop in Sweden, where I live, made me check the Internet for other places to buy it, and I found this shop; decided to try it.
What I experienced was good prices, easy shop navigation, and a delivery that I have never experienced as fast before: I ordered late afternoon/early evening one day, and I had the dishes (ended up ordering two) in my hands at home early the next afternoon!
The shop had handled the order immediately and ensured prompt shipping, and, despite that various courier services often during the last several years have failed me, this one, FedEx, managed to deliver much faster than they had been commissioned to.
Something like 20 hours turnaround time for an order from one country to another is not common these days!
Also, the dishes had been nicely packaged, an extra gift had been added, and I am now even in possession of a gift certificate, that was in the package as well, providing me with a rebate on my next order.
From what I have experienced, I will give a clear and unconditional recommendation of this shop.

Guest and myself had plastic parts in the food. 10 years old Mill. No guarantee because in the opinion of the Customer Service this has something to do with Casting. Nevertheless. How a Mill can be designed like that?? 25% off for the next Mill will not create more Trust in the product. It was an embarassing experience together with the guests.

RUBBISH Salt and Pepper Mills the rechargeable version just don’t Work I use Rock Salt but it does Mill pepper takes ages to mill JUST RUBBISH

Iv sent my 5th email today .

I bought a pepper mill from Amazon and it stopped working. I realised it had a warranty on it and I tried to register my item on the website and ask for a replacement or a repair. I haven’t heard back from them. Not even an acknowledgement of my claim.

Very poor quality products. Customer service is even more underwhelming.

Not worth the £. Or the hassle.

we received a salt and pepper pot for wedding present , and used for almost 1 year no worries , but here in South east QLD has rained last 2 months very hot and humid and i picked up salt pot other day after nit using a week and was rusted solid at grinder part , tried to use and some plastic broke , whole mechanism is rusted solid and broke..
i contacted peugeot psp australia and customer service not help i asked new mechanism but no receipt as was gift .. they also said as i put pink himalayan rock salt inside its to wet can only use white rock salt - i never heard of a saly mill can only use 1 type of salt before ?? seems should be made of stainless, brass or ceramic not cheap rustable metal and cheap plastic .. DO NOT BUY cheap rubbish no service and cannot use normal salt - this is not fit for purpose under aussie consumer law ..

Want to return a item and no respons from the compagnie.
Theye dont respond to u email.
U cant call them.

So be warned theye a bunch off scammers.

Why does Peugeot use several third party agencies for a simple SEPA bank transfer, among them the not customer friendly Klarna? If I had been informed about that before payment, I would not have ordered. You have to agree to give access to almost all data of Your bank account - mere data-phishing! And it took three desperate tries until the procedure finally worked. Delivery from France to Austria took three weeks(!). Peugeot uses COLISSIMO. There is a parcel tracking page, but the sending was not delivered to our house as stated before, but just deposited in a pickup shop. We were not informed about the address of the shop and it took a lot of investigation online to find out, that we had to ask DPD, where we got three different addresses to get the sending. Never again!

They boast about their lifetime guarantee, but when it comes to it, it just doesn't exist. Don't be fooled. Products with a big name that are not fit for purpose and a customer service that just doesnt exist. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

Received a pepper mill with a moulded cap asking them if they could help me with this. Received the message claiming that I stored the sea salt mill in a place where the humidity is high. Telling me I used it wrong, using it above the bowls! I didn't mention any bowls in my message, they just made up stories and blaming you didn't use it correctly. Very disappointed!

Tracking of postal carrier said product had arrived. However the product was never actually delivered to my adres, my neigbours nor did i recieve any information on where to pick the package up.

When asking the seller to investigate where the package is, they demand all your legal information in the form of photocopies of bots sides of your identity card.

Service is completely useless. Best to just buy the product in the store since this website might never deliver it to you.

Their Customer Service is HORROR! Already waiting for 6 weeks for the next steps for my broken peper mill. Warranty within 2 years? I hope the wait won’t be that long. Avoid the Brand!

Horrible customer services. Products set of two items - salt and peppermill arrived mismatched - different colour of the wood totally! Returned on 5 December. Today is 21 January and still not refund after more than a months of warehouse receipt. Wrote 4 times by now and still no refund. This is contrary to their sales terms which promise refund within 14 days. This is really bad.

I have a peppermill which some months ago would grudgingly grind (one type of grind only) and now doesn't grind at all. We're told by Peugeot that the we should adjust the top of the unit to get a smoother and coarser grind, but this doesn't work and the top just falls off.

Peugeot tell me that I must be using the wrong kind of peppercorn.

Oh. Okay. That must be it then.

Don't waste your money with this garbage.

I bought a Peugeot salt and pepper mill a few years ago, in part based on their reputation. At the end of August a screw from the bottom of the salt mill fell off. Fortunately I was adding salt to some flour in a sieve so it was obvious but it could easily have dropped into someone's food and been eaten accidentally. The thread of the screw has actually rusted so the screw head has come off but half the thread is stuck in the body of the mill so I can't fix it. It took me six weeks to finally get a response from their customer services and apparently they can't even provide me with a screw so I can fix it myself without the warranty paperwork! So much for standing by the quality of their products!!
