What a great bike! I ordered a size 2 On and On GRX 820 gravel bike from Pearsons which arrived perfectly set up to my bike fit measurements. It feels so comfortable: the handlebars with the way the gear levers curve round is great for my hands, as is the saddle which I thought I would have to change but so far has not given me any issues. My road bikes are a Trek Emonda and a Trek Domane, both size 52 cm. I am female, 167 cm tall, with a 79 cm inside leg, and the On and On size 2 is perfect with sufficient stand over height to make me feel like I won’t injure myself when sliding off the saddle at stops. The On and On handles very much like my Domane which feels solid and steady. But once I push down on the pedals, it feels like the Emonda: responsive and fast to move from a standing start. Other gravel bikes I have tried felt too much like my mountain bike: comfortable on all surfaces but too much energy taken up in bouncing on the road. With the On and On, I feel I can go over most surfaces with comfort, though rutted fields are hard work on the arms and hands with a lot of shaking around. What I do like about my mountain bike is the gearing and I struggled to find a gravel bike with easier gearing than my road bikes. Surely if you are heading off road potentially with luggage you need the easier gears? And here again the On and On is perfect with a 40T chainring and 10/51 cassette. If you want something for cycle paths, gravel, and bridle ways, with short bits of very rough surface, this bike is great. I love it already and I’m looking forward to riding on more of my local off road routes with the aim of going bike packing in the near future. So many adventures to look forward to!

Quick and efficient response

I bought the On and On GRX-820. The bike itself is brilliant, features a smooth ride and easy handling. The bike was properly assembled and arrive in great condition. The staff was very helpful. They provided all the information I needed about my purchase.

Did everything they said they would, and the bike is beautiful.

I had an issue with my rear mech hanger to which Pearson cycles were very helpful in dealing with. Although they didn't have a new one for me, they sent a second hand one free of charge just so I could get riding for the weekend. Couldn't ask for better service. A new is on order and waiting for delivery date.

A truly unique experience start to finish. They don’t just make and sell bikes, these guys from top to bottom are all seasoned and cultured bike enthusiasts, it’s wired in their DNA.
I bought a Forge back in January and from the get go I was made to feel comfortable and in safe hands. The entire service was extremely comprehensive and friendly and you end up feeling part of a wider biking community once you leave with your shiny new bike. Thanks to all at Forge I now have a bike that not only looks great, but fits right and rides like a charm.

I bought a Forge 105 direct from the shop (now known as Forge 1860) a few weeks ago, having previously had a bike fit and a check-up fit with Pearson for my old bike. I got very helpful advice throughout, notably from Nas Karimi who did the new bike fit for me but also from his colleagues in the shop. I love my new bike, it's extremely comfortable and easy to ride and I'm looking forward to getting more miles out of it as the year(s) continue!

I bought two bicycles from Pearson; a Forge and an On and On. What appealed to me about Pearson was the fact that they do a bike fit before purchase and then build a bike to fit your body size. I previously was getting neck on long rides, so decided to replace my bikes. Will Pearson, who did the bike fit, is very knowledgeable and the customer service was excellent. I no longer have neck ache on long rides.

Since taking delivery on my On and On GRX 815 Di2 bike i have had some of the best rides of my life smashing personal records - and as my ai Strava report says "the new bike seems to be a game-changer". The bike is like riding a Ferrari after a Cortina. I love it. The staff at Pearson were incredible throughout the build process answering all my questions punctually and supporting my move from commuter biking to riding with cleats. I have now bought 3 bikes from Pearson and their after service is second to none. I can't recommend them too highly.

It was very good bike in their sale.

Good service, particularly re the delivery using Flamme Rouge (Jamie). Bike was properly built up and working perfectly. And Jamie took time to adjust the set up and explain the controls (it’s an e-bike). The only glitch was that Pearson had not updated the shipping address to match the billing address, so the bike was initially delivered to our previous house. But it all got sorted!

Excellent customer service and telephone advice when deciding what size and type of bike I needed. Fast delivery. Excellent product, especially at the black Friday price.
