£2864 later, I regret choosing PCSpecialist.co.uk

I chose PCSpecialist because I wanted the reassurance of having an expensive PC professionally built, tested and checked by people who knew far more about it than I did.

Unfortunately, the PC arrived with a visibly damaged/misaligned case. A replacement side panel was sent out for me to fit myself, even though PCSpecialist themselves described the Corsair 5000T as “a very awkward case design”. The replacement panel still didn't sit properly.

I also asked for the QC photos because I genuinely couldn't understand how obvious damage had passed inspection. PCSpecialist explained that their photos are taken “post build”, before the machine is “passed into our QC team”, followed by another “brief QC” before dispatch. No photos from those QC checks were provided.

At the time, I trusted the advice I was given and eventually accepted a £50 partial refund instead of proceeding with a complete case replacement. Looking back, I really regret that decision.

The PC was later taken to a repair shop, where the fan-hub housing was found cracked and squeezed into place. Since purchase there have also been repeated blue screens, unexpected shutdowns and unusually high idle CPU temperatures.

I didn't buy from PCSpecialist expecting perfection. I simply assumed that spending nearly £3000 with a specialist would mean these were problems I wouldn't have to discover and deal with myself.

One star because i cant give Zero Well I have been a customer for a long time spent thousands, my laptop case broke, the physical case, so i sent it back on the 21st of APRIL 2026, it is NOW 21st of August 2026. They Claim it was hormuz and delivery this is 4 Months they have had it i am housebound so i rely on the computer i have missed releases due to this 4 month delay,

Helped me build my dream pc, answers all my questions on email and had it couple weeks no issues and best pc company around for sure

Great service - with good communication along the way

This was my second time choosing PCspecialist after ordering a laptop for my wife a few years ago. On this occasion I'd spent month planning a new build and when I finally got around to ordering everything went as planned. I'd done my research before hand and was not told of any compatibility issues or anything I was missing... So I took that as a good sign!

Receiving photos of the in progress was a nice touch and everything thing happened a lot quicker than I was expecting from that point forward. I was a bit concerned about packaging having missed a first delivery attempt but there was nothing to worry about... everything was secure.

All has been good since receiving the pc and I have not had to contact anyone for advice since. It hasn't neen put though any intense gaming yet, but its been an amazing experience using Photoshop and Lightroom on a new system.

As things stand, a second good experience with PCSpecialist and I'm sure they'll be there to assist if I do need to make contact.

I ordered quite a high spec gaming pc from pcspecialist and to be honest was very worried about the shipping of it with the size of the new GPUs and the price of RAM. I got my pc delivered and was extremely excited however when I booted it there was no video output when plugged into two different monitors. I looked at the motherboard and found that the red LED for DIMM was lit showing a RAM issue. I then called pcspecialist and they sent me two new replacement sticks for no extra cost the very next day and there customer service is outstanding I couldn’t be happier. Now I’m running battlefield 6 at 2K ultra at 180fps. Thank you pcspecialist 👍🏻

My computer has been up and running perfectly for the first couple of weeks since arrival! Pcspecialist provided a bespoke custom build gaming computer for me with all my chosen preferred hardware pieces. They were even happy to talk me through, over the phone, how to remove the glass side panel and subsequent packaging for my fear of breaking the glass was strong on day one. Very happy with my purchase and the added customer service gives me confidence they will be there if anything goes wrong in the future. (Fingers crossed it will work fine for many years to come!)

Well built computers at a really good price. Their after sales technical support was perfect and helped me with activation.

Was recommended to use PC Specialist from a friend as I knew I wanted a gaming PC but did not know enough about parts to make a clear and decisive choice. With a little help from my friend and a lot of guidance from the web site (specifically not letting me pick items which are not compatible with each other) I ended up finding what I wanted. The web site even suggested a different power supply as the one I had picked was overkill (this turned out to save me a few pennies).

Computer arrived quickly, with good protective packaging, email updates and was quite simply better than I expected in terms of service, speed and quality.

Really good would use again and recommend to others.

Fast turn around of about 5 days, I think I ordered something on like Sunday and it arrived Friday afternoon, worth noting I ordered without a GPU as I would be putting my own card in and the cable I requested was provided which all went smoothly. Everything else about this build and setup has been great, I wanted a smooth and stress free experience and that is what I got, you guys did a great job, the system was clean and ran smoothly so thanks to everyone involved.

The only downside or issue I had was that I did request for SATA cables to be connected and left as I had my own SSDs which I wanted to install, unfortunately none were provided so I am unsure if my request made it through as I placed a note regarding this through the phone.

Overall an excellent experience, thanks very much! Just hoping my components hold over this computer part pricing crisis!

Great team and a really useful website, everything was ideal from the decoding which computer suited me all the way to it arriving at my front door, couldn’t recommend yhese guys any higher!

Just a great experience all round!! Not had a new desktop PC for 10 years and got my dream rig made to spec with PC Specialist. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a few chats before I bought my system and they answered every little question I had and I could tell they were really passionate about PC building.

They give you info every step of the way from ordering your system, to when its been built, they even send you a nice 360º pic of your rig to get you even more excited 🤪, then onto QC and testing etc and finally the shipping.

Super happy with my new PC and the service I received from PC Specialist. Highly recommended!!

(Oh and my son bought a new PC from them a few years ago and he was praising the company, hence me buying from them)

Don’t use this company sell faulty products and when you return try and keep you’re money too

Ordered a custom built pc had issues from day one tech support was very good at repsonding eventually i had to return the pc due to the same issue coming back. Pc then came back after being checked over came back same issue so I’ve returned it for a refund and they are trying to keep my money avoid this company been 2 weeks and still haven’t refunded

Delivered as ordered in good condition and ready to go. Prompt delivery with good communication between PC Specialist and the Deliverer and me.

Everything was done quick to a high standards and communication was excellent

The only thing I think they should do is offer discount if you pay in full but that’s only my opinion

easy to see on their site what is available and its full specs, etc. easy to order to one's exact specs and know the price accordingly; quick response to queries; knowing the computer ordered is built to your order means a few days' delay but it's still quite quick; being kept updated on the order as it progresses through building, testing, shipping; the computer was entirely up to expectations based on descriptions provided; competitive pricing.
