In my home PC matic has protected my devices for over 17 years or so. And I have never had issues with protection. That says a lot to me from my years of experience with this company. I think everything about their company in the United States is number one and they have proved it to me.

This is my second year using PC Matic we have two laptops and one desk top, all have been running Great, and I especially like the email reports on what they found and cleaned, Great service and product.

I had a malware attack on my PC and PC Matic resolved the issue immediately following a complete scan of my machine... works as advertised.

Haven't had any issues with the program. I feel my tablet and laptop are well protected

Outstanding product and service. Switched from Norton and really appreciate the lower cost with the transparent operation.

Have used this product for a few years on our laptops. Assumed it worked and that we were relatively safe.

Newest laptop developed serious issues, so I upgraded to 24/7 phone support. That is effectively useless. Multiple techs looked at my machine. No one contacted me at that time or later. One person, on third call suggested I remove/reinstall Windows, but was clear that they could not provide me the steps to do so. He said they were not allowed to do that.

So much for service! I figured that out on my own, but that process also crashed. I have a junk machine, less than 6 months old that Dell won’t fix, PC Matic will not or cannot help.

Buyer beware, don’t buy anything from Dell and don’t count on PC Matic. Since what their ads promised is not true, why should I trust what their AV software is supposedly doing?
They did at least have CS reps who spoke English, unlike the PC manufacturer.

I joined PC Matic back in 2017 because I was always getting viruses on my computer after I joined no more worries about any of that - and I do like that they keep adding new products and also they keep us abreast of any changes in the industry and things to look out for - Try PC Matic and have peace of mind and no worries - I love PC Matic and I know you will too!!

For the last few years, I have enjoyed the reassures that PC Matic is protecting, enhancing performance and cleaning my devices. For the affordable price, I can not recommend PC Matic enough!!!

I would give their rating a 0 star if it was applicable, since the product is so horrible. It seemed like a scam after they maliciously tried to renew my service after canceling and then they have zero customer service, contrary to their advertising.
When I didn’t select to continue my subscription the company attempted to charge my bank account five times!
Triggering a fraud alert from my bank, prompting me to report it and get a new card.
Fraudulent for its claims of integrity and “American based”, they offer zero customer service and abusive business practices.

I saw PC Matic advertised on Newsmax and they boasted about them being an American Company as well as their products and services. So I ordered it for my PC and later, for my iPhone. But soon after that, I realised that in order to get into my bank account, I need to disable the VPN service. So what good is it if I need to disable my VPN service in order to get into my bank account? Isn't this the time when I need it the most??? And then with my iPhone, PC Matic customer service admits that you cannnot stream video or audio content while on the VPN servie. So their answer is, step 1. disable VPN, 2. watch or listed to your program, 3. re-enable VPN when done. This is unacceptable. And when I asked for a refund, they said no of course. What a crappy program and what a lousy company they are!! Please do yourself a favor, find a different anti-virus/VPN service. I will tell all of my friends the same.

PC matic can not get there product to run weekly scans but still send me email monthy reports saying that everything is runing great, 3 times I tried to get help from PC matic support about this each time I was on the ph for at least an hr and nothing changed they can't fix there own product!!!!! I also asked for help installing windows 11 after 3hrs with support I took it to a shop and had it installed for less than I pay for PC support. good by pc matic hello Norton

Wow, I almost bought this but luckily I read the reviews. They never reply to the bad reviews, that tells you all you need to know.

I tried to upgrade my Pc Matic wouldn't let me. Unable to uninstall old version. Thay have NO Support!! I think they have stolen my money. I'm scared they will automatically renew each year and steal more money..

I started my service back in 2021 with their anti-virus, then i started their VPN, two years ago. Then i attempted to add more services in November 2025. Well all came crashing down. In August 2025 they cancel my VPN in which they were paid in full. In November they canceled my anti-virus that was a lifetime subscription. Sold me a yearly package for 160.00 after complaining they canceled most of their services. Today i am waiting for someone to call me,

I don't like doing business with any company that don't give me a number or a person to talk too , no that's not good enough for me , been trying to get with a person for days now , I'm getting tired of it

No customer service number to talk to an actual person about billing issues and no follow through on emails I sent. This was following a special promotion I signed up for the previous year that wasn't applied at my annual renewal until I contacted the Better Business Bureau. After that they made unexplained changes to my account without explanation followed with more unanswered emails and dead end attempts to call.
As an elderly, non -tech person I was not disappointed in the product but in the lack of regard for a US customer from an advertised US company.

Several days ago I noticed a full scan attempt remained stuck at 25% completed after 17 hours. I reached out to PCMatic Expert technical Support. The technician I was working with was unable to correct the issue. He advised I uninstall my current and latest PCMatic version 5 and he sent me a link to reinstall the old PCMatic version 4. Since I did that my problems just escalated. Several attempts over several days by other expert technicians have failed. Although PCMatic advertises Phone technical support but it does not actually offer it. PCMatic actually does not offer phone assistance even when their expert technicians exacerbate the problems. Now I have no ability to scan, have an old version on my desktop recommended by the PCMatic expert technician.
I get emails with step by step cut and paste examples none of which are visible in my system since the PCMatic Expert technician had me install an old version of PCMatic and maybe I would go away. A simple phone communication would be in order although PCMatic advertises it but does not provide it. Are their exceptions?

No customer service,I tried three times to reset password and got no wherefore there so called support.save your money buy something else.

Amazing! My computer was destroyed 2 months ago and has not been powered or connected to the internet- yet I continued to get emails from pc matic telling me how they scanned and cleaned up my dead computer. When I questioned them, the response was lame and evasive. They could not explain it. I can - PC MATIC IS A SCAM!!! they took my money for the past 5 years or so and did nothing.
