I purchased CARLA NAPPA BLACK shoes and…

I purchased CARLA NAPPA BLACK shoes and have worn them only 3-5 times. Unfortunately, they make a squeaky noise with every step, which is incredibly annoying and unexpected for a supposedly high-quality shoe that cost €323.20. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, their response was extremely unprofessional.

"we do not understand what the problem is since this model is selling very well and we have not had any complaints at any time. We regret not being able to help you."

So what? I even sent a video to show the issue. I'm really disappointed—it's such a waste of money and my time.

Complaint sent, no reply from customer service.

So, here a follow-up on my experience with the customer service team concerning these faulty boots. Without extra charge they were alterated, although I actually did not feel any difference. Since it was summer, I did not wear them until last week and yes, again a bleeding wound appeared on my calf. In the meanwhile I bought the simular pair in blue, giving me no difficulties at all. I wrote again to customer service, explaining that, considering this, this black pair really must have a production fault and asked for a refund and returning the boots. I sent two reminders, but no reply at all. A very bad experience for such a loyal customer.

Production fault, complaint taken into consideration

I purchased a simular pair of boots, in a different color. One of these boots turns out to have a production fault; the front seem of the shaft has a nasty 'bump' and after wearing them for an hour I had a bleeding wound on my calf. I contacted the customer service with a clarifying picture, asking for a solution. The reply was the following: "It seems that they are a little tight, the skin gives way, don't worry and it won't rub, in any case, if you fill the shaft of the boot with something to widen it and leave it for 24/48 hours, the problem will be solved. All the best". I explained that the problem is not a thigh shaft but a faulty seem and again asked for a solution.
I returned the boots and the shaft was alterated - very good service.

An expensive order!

Firstly, note that you are going to be charged customs which makes the shoes rather a lot more expensive. The quality of the shoes seemed good. However, they were a LOT chunkier than the picture showed and had to be sent back. Customer service was good, but the return had to be paid for. So, for no shoes, I have paid about £75! Definitely not worth the risk again. There are retailers who manage to roll the charges into the price so that you can see the cost better. I was also very surprised so see that I had to pay for returns which is a service not fitting the price bracket of the shoes. Definitely not worth it.
