Great vacation rental. Lots of room and great location. The pool was nice!

My husband and I stayed with our dogs and had an excellent time. The condo was very nice and clean. We cranked the air down and it did the job. The bedroom and bathroom were great. A large storage closet was just what we need to store all our gear and the washer and dryer were nice to have. 1st floor access was awesome. The complex was very dog friendly lots of people had dogs and were very responsible. The complex has doggie bags and trash bins available to make cleaning up after your pet easy. We didn’t use the pool but we did use the outdoor shower which was great for sand cleanup on us, our dogs, and our gear. The beach was a very short walk which added to a great trip. Padre Escapes made check in and out very easy and even left us a nice anniversary gift. We definitely recommend and will return!

Easy to do business with. I've used them for a few years, and have always been happy. For some dumb reason, one year I did not, and it was total chaos! I won't make the mistake again.

Nice experience, the house was clean just for the fridge a little bit dirty. But everything else was good. Thank you!

The pictures for this rental are a bit deceiving, it is an apartment located on the second floor, it is not as spacious as the pictures looked. The kids room does not have a light, the 2nd bedroom gets very hot and does not have a TV (they put a small fan in there), the backyard is very small, however the kids really enjoyed fishing off the deck. The apartment is very nice and updated, the decor is great and they have plenty of pots, pans, cups, cutlery, etc. There is no bar b q pit in the apartment, but there is one down the street, a community one that is first come first serve. The community pool was very dirty, and the parking for the boat/trailer is also down the street, not right outside the apartment. The apartment is conveniently located close to the beach, Schlitterbahn and HEB. Overall it was not a bad rental, we had a great time.

I’m only giving this a 3 Star not because of the condo but because of the experience we had there the condo was great except for the AC not working. We had a horrible experience there with some racist people telling us we don’t look like we belong here cause we are Hispanic I paid a lot of money for me and my family too stay there. Needless to say we will never be staying at those condos again.

We have been staying at El Constante/Padre Escapes for about 10 years. This year they changed a few things. Some good, some bad. We love the new key pads because now we don’t have to keep track of a physical key. This year I felt like they didn’t give us enough towels, soaps, detergents, toilet paper and paper towels. They use to restock each day but now once you’re out, you’re out. My family and I had to go to the store and buy all of those items because we ran out within the first day. Also, the security gaurd is an a-hole. He kept asking me and my husband which room we were staying in as if we were up to no good. Grumpy old man.

Other than that, we love the rooms and how close we are to the beach!

I thought I had already sent my review so I'd like to repeat: it was very accommodating very clean and as usual I had no problems and will recommend to all my friends so see you next year!

the house was great!! exceeded out expectations but the trundle needs to be replaced. the person who slept there woke up with bruises from the springs. that was the only problem we had.

This was our first time staying at Padre Escapes and we were not disappointed! The cottage was clean and cozy. The only issue was that the television volume would go out in the living area. Kitchen was well supplied. The location is conveniently located by the beach.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. And I have recommended Padreescapes to several friends.

Great option for renting your vacation condo.

We stayed at el constante For the 4th of July. Our condo was VERY clean and felt so comfortable. The cleaning service is clearly very meticulous. The condo complex itself is quite old and a little run down. Around the pool was an area of standing water that looked unappealing and had a rotting wood fence behind it. It needs some updating given the price of the condo rental. The kids loved the pool despite that of course. So if you can look past it being an older place with some flaws, then you will have a great time. The proximity to the beach is perfect. We have little kids so this was very important to us and was easy for them to go back and forth from the beach to the pool. The people in the office were very friendly. Overall we had a good time but won’t stay again given the condition of the condo complex.
