After making the telephone enquiry to Owens straight away we knew this was the right place to use for our mum. Lorraine was so comforting and made us at ease at such a delicate time. Nothing was too much trouble, we visited Owens and it was a lovely place, bright and calming. Lorraine knew exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. Lorraine arranged for Father Ramesh to provide a Blessing for our mum as we wanted to have this done, it was so tasteful and beautiful, mum would have loved it. The room mum stayed in was so calming and restful. We were so comforted with the blessing. Lorraine kept us fully informed of everything and what was going to happen on the day. Alex rung us the day before to check if there was anything else we wanted to be done. Alex was so professional on the day and it was totally a beautiful send off for our mum. A lovely gift in the chapel was left from Alex for the family. So unexpected! Thank you x Mike Davies the celebrant was very thoughtful and the service he did was lovely. We would not hesitate to recommend Owen’s to everyone we know. They are first class. A huge Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts to Lorraine and Alex and to the drivers. Xx

We cannot recommend more highly - from the very first meeting we were treated with respect and kindness and felt secure in the knowledge that our Dad would have the kind of funeral that he deserved. Alex was amazing at all times and nothing was too much trouble. everything was professional but very warm and comforting. As a family we will be forever grateful.

From the very start making the phone call we all dread , arranging a loved ones funeral, Owens looked after us & guided us through everything. Lorraine & Alex were amazing , showing compassion & sharing amusing moments about our loved ones life with us. They helped us choose the perfect service for us , we chose a celebration of life , & picked the perfect celebrant Jeanette Roberts for us. We had lovely phone calls just checking we were ok , guiding us if we had forgotten anything( we had ), can’t recommend them enough . Owens are an independent family funeral service, (there are not many of them left anymore ) & you can tell the difference, little touches that mean so much . No hidden costs , & lots of different options to suit whatever you want & your budget. My husband was so impressed he has asked me when it’s his turn can Owens look after him ! You can’t get a better recommendation than that. Thank you again Alex & lorraine for making a difficult time for us the best experience it could have been. You are angels , thank you Deb & Rick x

Nothing was too much trouble. Looked after us as a family when we lost a loved one. Kind, caring and considerate. Did everything we asked of them so that we could give mum a good send off.

Lost My Wife early September. Went to Owens the best decision I made. They Don't know the word NO whatever you need, anything requested is done. Wife & family looked after too a very high standard. You are kept up to date with everything that happens & done to loved one's. A special thanks to Lorraine & All her company for there help & guidence throughout our ordeal. Reg

From the minute I walked in with a heavy heart after losing my Mum I felt enveloped in empathy, compassion and understanding. My Mothers wishes were carried out with total respect and understanding which achieved a beautiful service and befitting celebration of my amazing Mums life. Nothing was too much trouble at all and I would recommend them to everyone who has to look after their loved ones final celebration.
