According to our website's return policy, you are required to send us the product packaging and photos for review before returning the item. You never provided these materials and subsequently filed a dispute directly through PayPal. Even after losing the dispute, you still believe we acted intentionally.
Regarding emails, while there may have been some delays in our responses to your messages, we have addressed each one diligently. It's possible you may have overlooked them.

Careful of import duty

Selected the product I wanted and paid (delivery charges too). A few days later got an email saying I would have to pay extra for import duty. But they wouldn't tell me how much these charges would be. Not sure why they don't have stock in the UK. Bit annoyed, not a way to run a business. Either include this in price or clearly state when buying.

Been a customer of Ortur for years

Been a customer of Ortur for years. Had an issue with a part that broke and the Ortur customer service responded to my concern within an hour. Told me exactly what I needed to fix my issue. Even sent me the link to make it easy to order. I will continue to be a customer with Ortur as long as they keep up the great work. (The part that broke was not a design issue.)

Best laser machines in my opinion

I am running. 2 ortur lasers

Ortur laser Master 2.4 SF and a ortur laser Master 3 for the last 21/2 years.

These are wonderful machines. Easy to setup and use.

Easy to maintain.

I have recommended these machines to alot of friends and colleagues.

I am looking at getting a bigger wattage laser now. And would still stay with ortur.

I have other colleagues with other brands that have had more issues than joy

These little big machines are a joy

EXPERIENCE WITH ORTUR

I just want to share my experience with Ortur Laser. From the moment I got the machine, I could already tell it was built with quality in mind. The setup was smooth and user-friendly, even for someone who isn’t super technical, and once I started engraving, the precision and detail really amazed me. What I appreciate the most is not just the machine itself but also the support from the Ortur team and the community. Whenever I had questions, I could easily find guidance, and it makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger. This laser has opened up so many opportunities for me, both for personal projects and business. Truly a game-changer, and I’m glad I chose Ortur.

Lasers are great but service is non-existant.

I had an OLM2 and it is a great machine, always worked very well. I liked it so much I paurchased an OLM3 and it never worked from the start.
Its when something goes wrong that you find ut how good the support is. I have been trying for three days to contact support, sent 2 emails that havenot been answered. Today I spent $ and a half hours with online chat trying to get some help but it was a long time between answers, they responded 6 times in 4.5 hours and only asked dumb questions and no help. Then at 1800 (GMT +9) they just stopped talking (but didnt tell me) because that when they finish work for the day. So I am just stuck with a AUD$1600 laser that i cant use.

A compatible service

A compatible service, you get a response quickly. Friendly and helpful, in any case.

I have the Ortur R2 Desktop Laser, a great laser for anyone who wants to get started with lasers. It's user-friendly, performs well, and doesn't take up much space.

So, the overall package is great, and I give it 5 stars.

There is one small drawback: unfortunately, there's no material library for Lightburn available for download, so I created it myself.

Ortur customer support is garbage.

I purchased my laser master to S2 which normally comes with a 5-watt laser module but I opted for the 10 watt upgrade. I was shipped a device with an outdated assembly manual which included a no longer used part. The parts that I was provided were not usable given the assembly instructions provided. When I brought this to their attention they first told me my parts were correct. After sending them pictures of the parts showing that they could not be connected they sent me an updated installation manual in PDF form. The manual linked to an updated assembly video in Chinese. But even with the updated assembly video the part I need to make the laser function was still not included in what I received. I asked Ortur customer service what they would do to make things right and they decided to defend themselves instead of correcting the issue. It was not until I informed them I would take legal action that any movement on their part took place. I am now awaiting the delivery of the part I need to finally make the 10-watt laser module work Ortur customer support is garbage. A simple mistake was turned into an issue that didn't need to happen. As of July 30th I have still not been able to use the device I purchased on the 11th of July. This is why Ortur gets one star. if there were a better way to show my distaste for their actions I would provide it.

The right team for your warranty is crucial for quick resolution.

In May 2025 I purchased an Ortur Laser Master 2 S2 LU2-10A 72W with an Air assist from Amazon. One of the reasons I purchased the Ortur is the stated One year "Worry Free" Warranty. As of July 21st the air assist has died. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps to no avail so I contact the Ortur support. I received a reply the day after that stated:
"Hello.
I have inquired that you should not have purchased it from our website and we are not able to provide one year after-sales maintenance service."

I am guessing that they are stating since I purchased it from Amazon, they will not honor the warranty. I reached out to Amazon, but am being told I have to go through Ortur support since I didn't purchase the Amazon warranty for $30 extra.
I will definitely be switching brands for my Laser equipment and will just try to sell my Ortur.

Update 07/24/25: Support reached back out and are now willing to work with me. I will update again once they have resolved the issue.

Update 0/25/25: Another response from Ortur regarding the air assist that is being sold by their store on Amazon, which is clearly marked as an Ortur brand in the description, is not in their "Family" so I have to contact the "Platform" to get another pump. So now we wait for another contact.

Update 08/01/25: They finally put me in touch with a support person that helped me and after a few emails back and forth, they are sending me a new air assist for my laser.

Update 08/11/25: Once they got me in contact with the right department, the replacement went very smoothly and quickly, The replacement arrived quickly and I am back up and running!

Ortur Laser Master 3 (20W) Awesome Machine

I have the Ortur Laser Master 3 (20W), the air assist, and the YRC1.0 rotary chuck. I can not tell you how much I appreciate this machine over my previous machine from another company. This machine is much more precise and powerful. When I had an issue (SD card), they talked me through troubleshooting it and got me a new SD card. I've had nothing but great results with this machine.

Subject: Deeply Disappointed with Ortur H20 – Safety Hazard and Poor Support

I was genuinely excited about the Ortur H20 after reading several glowing articles and getting in early through the Kickstarter program. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly turned to disappointment once the unit arrived. Several components were not assembled correctly out of the box — an issue I managed to resolve myself, thinking that was the worst of it.

I was wrong.

On only the third project, the laser caught fire. Thankfully, I was standing nearby and able to shut the unit down and extinguish the flames before things escalated. I contacted Ortur’s support immediately, providing all the necessary photos and details. After a lengthy back-and-forth with a support agent named Daniel, the final offer I received was a discount on a replacement 40-watt laser. That was it. No real apology, no replacement, and no acknowledgment of the potential danger involved.

I’m extremely disappointed, not just with the product quality, but with how seriously Ortur seems to take product safety and customer service. Frankly, it’s unacceptable. I hope my experience serves as a caution to others — and that Ortur reevaluates how they handle serious safety incidents.

Still ongoing issues with Ortur!

After several emails back and forth I am no farther ahead as I was at the start.

Here is the way things have gone so far.

They finally took ownership of my concern on the fire the 40-Watt laser caused. (Nothing more than just lip service I may add.)

Finally, had some movement in a laser replacement. (so, I thought)

Once the laser module arrived it was soon discovered it was a totally different laser. You would think with all the issues thus far they would ensure they at least got that right! (WRONG)

Even before the (Wrong) laser arrived they had asked me to edit my review.

No for the next leg of this journey of the 40-Watt laser replacement!

Despite months of back-and-forth, the situation with Ortur is still not resolved.

Here’s the short version of this ridiculous timeline:

My Ortur 40W laser caught fire, causing damage to both my material and machine.

After multiple emails, Ortur finally acknowledged the issue, though it felt more like lip service than true accountability.

They agreed to send a replacement… but what arrived was the WRONG laser module. After everything that had happened, they couldn’t even get the model right.

Even before the incorrect module arrived, they asked me to edit or remove my negative reviews.

Here’s an actual message from their support team (June 2, 2025):

"We hope you will delete all negative comments about our company. We have realized the seriousness of the problem. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding."

Yet as of July 6, 2025, I STILL HAVE NO WORKING REPLACEMENT.

They sent me tracking info on June 30:
But surprise — no laser has arrived.



This has gone on long enough. I'm now several months into trying to get a proper replacement, and Ortur continues to delay, deflect, and prioritize damage control over customer support.

Quality customer and technical service at its finest

The product support both technical and customer related are absolutely unparalleled. They took a little bit to respond due to the time difference between me and them. I have plenty of patience because the help I received was absolutely unequivocally phenomenal. My satisfaction was their prime goal, not so that I would buy more product but so that I can enjoy the product that I have. I now own two of their lasers one 10 w and one 40 w. They are both LM3 models. The construction of these lasers are fantastic in I-beam construction and extruded aluminum. I have had a couple of little hiccups that they were able to explain what I did wrong and were able to help me resolve the issue quickly and effectively. I have shopped other lasers South. Upon researching personally, the physical construction of other products do not get close to the quality of the Ortur laser.
I have personally thanked them a number of times as they have always responded in a timely fashion. Some people expect an instantaneous response, not expecting a time difference.
If they read these reviews I would love to let them know. I thank you again for making my laser work fantastic. It's asking for a date of the experience. I can only put a recent date but my experience has been ongoing not due to problems but due to my inexperience with lasers their support has been unimaginably patient with me in my ignorance of laser equipment

Excellent engraver :)

I've had a great experience with my Ortur Laser Master 2 S2 LU2-10A laser engraver over the past few months, and it has worked great on both cork and wood (I have yet to try other matierials).
In addition to the engraver being excellent, their customer service on ortur.net was remarkable and fast when answering questions on assembly.

I bought the Ortur Laser Master H10 and…

I bought the Ortur Laser Master H10 and so far, am very pleased with it and with the purchase experience and after sale support.
I received multiple email messages from Lucy during the purchase that were very helpful.
I also experienced a problem with the X-axis feed belt not seated correctly and was able to resolve the issue quickly. Again, Lucy communicated with me via email and provided good information on possible causes of the issues I was experiencing and potential solutions.
I got to engrave my first test project, a qrcode onto stainless steel last night and was quite impressed with the speed and outcome!
Would definitely recommend Ortur to anyone looking for affordable entry-level to mid-advanced engraving equipment.

H20 is a faulty product, don't buy

H20 is a bad product. Don't Buy! Firstly when box arrive you notice a lots of grammatical errors. No quality check.
Secondly, laser is faulty unable to engrave straight lines.
Thirdly, camera is faulty and got a defected picture in Lightburn rendering this laser useless. Fourth, support doesn't accept returns or refunds. They don't listen and they don't respond to messages. Fifth they removed my ability to review the laser on their site. They are scammers. Ortur doesn't want you to have a good product,once you buy, it's over
