The charge $495 to read the papers you upload, then thousands to set up a plan with the IRS that you can set up yourself.
I was told the $495 was for an "inspection" and that they would come up with a resolution plan based on the findings. This "inspection" was simply reading the forms I uploaded. The "resolution plan" was the same bullet points of the same generic "plan" that they laid out before I paid them, not an actual plan. They wait to schedule the follow-up consultation until after the "15-day money back policy" expires, then give you no new information until you pay them more. They would not actually proceed with any real resolution until I paid them thousands of dollars despite telling me otherwise. The cost to move forward was more expensive than the tax debt payments themselves. Theft and deception seem to be part of the business model. Do not waste your time or money!

I paid a lot to have my taxes reduced and all optima did was put them in filing form no reduction at all I was very disappointed with my outcome would never recommend optima to anybody.

They are based on west coast, im on east coast. Due to my work hours I stated in beginning I could only speak with them on Wednesdays due to their hours vs mine. Started process in early December. It is now April and they have only called me once on a Wednesday. When I call them no one seems to have the correct paperwork. They keep telling me I need a payment plan for a debt of over 38000 and yet the 3 years of tax returns I signed and returned to them that they filled out and had me sign and return to them show less then 600. Taxes are hard enough. They did not lower my stress only made it worse. DO NOT USE

Whatever you do don’t waste your money…
Whatever you do don’t waste your money with this company. 5k plus$ to handle my case with out 0 resolutions. Waited over a few years to have a resolution, all while the Interest accrued and in the end they could only set me up with a payment program with the IRS! “Really” could’ve done the same thing myself. After complaining and notifying the BBB, optima tried to pay me 500$ to remove my complaint!
