Scam site. Avoid it like the plague ☹️

SCAM!!! Not requested and sending a not secure link? Its 2024. Cmon scammer! you can do better than that. Please dont click on the link they sent.

Used to be a good marketplace, but nowadays they're just pushing their promo projects and create climate for dump of collections value

They texted me after saying they did a “roofing summary”
They are scum!
How could they possibly do that w/o actually going on my roof?
If they did, without my knowledge or permission, they should be arrested

Please DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I was so easily scammed out of my money on their website and they refuse to do anything about it. What a waste of money. I’m so furious.

After buying legitimately an NFT, after waiting for 2 years for it to increase in value, they have blocked it alleging someone has reported it as fraudulent. I have now 5000 locked in a legitimate NFT I can´t access...

6 NFT’s stolen worth a large amount and was initially relieved to see email from Opensea that they had suspended the scammer from selling them. My relief soon turned to despair when all they cared about was me filing a police report and reporting to FBI. The customer service is woeful couldn’t have cared less about the devastation of having my assets stolen. I stupidly thought my collections on opensea were more secure than this. Truth is of all the genuine sites and apps that I have used to it only took 1 click of fake one to lose everything of value in seconds. Most sites have security protocols to protect their customers but Opensea have zero.

I have a collection on auction. I was approached by .web3_ (his name on discord), previously berlin 07 (screenshots of his twitter account available) and he offered to buy 40 of my NFTs for 8 ETH. Of course, being a new one, I gladly accepted. He told me we should get the items validated and so get someone as middle man on discord: Hieu/OpenSea, username: .pudgyamateur7777 to validate the assets. I transferred my NFTs and then they told me I should pay 0.3 ETH for the validation procedure! This is when I got suspicious.I immediately contacted metamask and sent them screenshots and they told me that it was a scam.
I didn't pay them (fortunately) but now I see that my NFTs belong to OpenSeaTeam (with a white tick next to the name, meaning approved member by OpenSea (?). I don't blame OpenSea.io for my predicament, I was a novice and I learnt the hard way, but I blame them for not taking any action against the scammers or to help me retrieve my NFTs. I had even given OpenSea.io the address my NFTs were sent. OpenSea.io had written to me on December 22 that my issue would be escalated to their User Safety Team and they would let me know, but I am still waiting while opensea.io show tolerance against the scammers still allowing them to go about unpunished.
There are screenshots available from all correspondence between me and the OpenSea.io asking them to help me get my NFTs back, but to no avail. They simply ignored my pleas and didn't answer back to most of my emails...

Unsafe, fraudulent, waste of time effort and money.

Tried contacting support for my particular problem and got no reply then read reviews that i should have read in the first place. If you want to waste money then go outside and give it to a squirrel

Don't keep your NFT's on OpenSea, because they cannot protect your tokens from being stolen through phishing scams, and if your token gets stolen (like mine), they won't take any responsibility. They won't even block the stolen token from being resold on their platform unless you file a police report (and that after they acknowledge that the NFT was stolen....)

I am an nft artist and opensea guarantees no fee. They took a fee, then denied a promised refund. And then refused to accept my payment of a very hefty fee.

I wish I had read the other reviews before creating an account on Open fish. It’s a total scam. I lost almost €800 and they said I can’t have a refund. There’s no security in place for protecting customers against fishing or other types of fraud. Stay away from this platform

I was contacted by lady saying that she want to buy my Art at 7 ETH each and told to upload it as NFT on Opensea from there scam has started they have collected 0.2 ETH as gas fee before transaction but deal was not happening, at last they told i need to pay 0.8 ETH as processing fee to complete transaction, i felt fishy. I think opensea is also involved in this scam

A story happened to me. I too am a painter and I sell my paintings on Instagram a person who contacted me wants to buy you NFTs at a crazy price 7 etheronum, they suggest you create an account on opensea. Then you have to send fees before she even pays you for your paintings, be careful of this scam.

The fact that people actually put money into nft´s, they have no f#cking value

When the community rejected their 50 image limit on collections, opensea responded like an abusive spouse and forced recaptcha for each image upload. Instead of having a tiered system ie no captcha with KYC and a pattern of honesty, they treat everyone like a potential criminal if your uploading vs creating a drop. There are times users have to spend more time doing recaptchas than uploading. They get buyers but their lack of empathy and fairness for the honest creator is disturbing. I can only hope in purgatory the antisocial c suite creeps who thought this was fair have spend a few thousand years solving recaptchas, or at least equal the time they forced users to waste…

Lots of errors when trying to log in or when trying to view my profile etc, no customer support, rubbish website, etc.
Please avoid opensea. There are many marketplaces available which are much better.

Instagram scammers like to use both plutoart and open sea.io to try and scam you out of money. Stay safe creators x
