Great tools, best place for secondary NFT sales
I mean this is the best place to sell NFTs on a secondary market, but their policies on stolen NFTs makes use pretty difficult.
They will let you buy a NFT that has been marked by their system as stolen, then you wont be able to resell it because its been marked as stolen. I have not had this issue as I have to check multiple sites before buying an NFT but this always worreis me when I buy somethign worth more than 1 eth
Now it's the 2
Now it's the 2. Time I buy a nft with my bids, that you AFTER say is stolen :o
It's fair you wanna fight crimes.... But rather you do it faster, or not at all... Don't seems fair you keep ruin my trading by making it untradeable O.o...
IF you wanna fight hack, make it so no one can sell an nft they haven't held for 3 days O.o then you have time for that s*** you try to do

fraudulent Company
Somehow this company got ahold of my banking information and drained my account. Don't do business with them.
Responded after 4 months
My NFTs stolen, reported to opensea. Opensea responded after 4 months and I sent them original artworks in vectoral format after they wanted proof from me, they again responded after 3 months, they don’t accept my complaint.. My nfts created almost 2 years ago from stolen date.. NFT IS A SCAMMER also wasting of time and money.
I had bought an NFT
I had bought an NFT. The whole transaction was carried out on OpenSea, the token was stored on their site. Roll forward 7 months - NFT is missing which I'm told is because they delisted it for violating some terms or other. Long story short, no NFT, no refund, money lost and OpenSea hold no responsibility. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST.
Opensea.io SCAMMER ALERT
Opensea.io SCAMMER ALERT
On 7-4-2022 I was hacked by criminals who received my information and email from customer.io who is
a third party vendor for opensea.io’’. Opensea gave this information without notifying me to
customer.io which lead to the theft of my digital assets. An employee of customer.io for whatever
reason gave my email and other peoples emails to cyber criminals. These criminals proceeded to attack
me and manage to enter my desktop pc, they stole many cryptocurrency assets including coins, tokens
and NFT’s. Approximately 100k of digital assets were stolen from me. After opening up a ticket from
opensea.io and trying to explain my situation to get help. Opensea.io totally disregarded my plea for
help and my huge losses that occurred to me. I’ve been in the cryptocurrency space for about 5 years
now and I understand how to keep my wallet seed phrases & passwords safe. The 3 hacked wallets were
approximately 3 years old and the seeds and passwords were only written on paper and put into a safe.
There is no possible way that these criminals had these seeds for my wallets. After trying to contact
opensea.io numerous times and still getting ignored to my tickets that I opened, I decided to go visit
their office in Manhattan, NY as I live in Queens NY. When I approached their office building I visualized
that they had an actual office with employees or someone I could even speak too. And to my surprise it
looked like a simple apartment building definitely not a commercial space just plain old apartments that
people lived in which the address stated is 105 east 24th st room 4D NY, NY, 10010
(obviously this is a fake address). So after double checking that the address was correct I decided to
enter the building and proceed to the apartment room 4D, a person answered the door and told me
that there’s no such company as opensea in that building. So obviously opensea.io is a
BIG SCAM and here is why:THEY HAVE NO OFFICE IN NYC.
Number 1. you can’t speak to anybody live on the phone.
Number 2. Their phone number is a robot that only reverts you back to leaving a ticket VIA email.
Number 3 Opensea.io does NOT exist on that address that they have listed.. I actually went to their
“office” and discovered that address is a complete scam and there is no company called open sea in that
building.
So people be warned that Opensea.io is just a huge scam that takes peoples money and has no
responsibility of their customers losses and problems. This must be the worst company I have ever come
across for trying to communicate with. I am going to find a way to bring litigation against this company
for their security breach which is the reason for my losses
open sea helps scammers! BEWARE!
If i could give them no stars,, i would. they do not even deserve the 1. They have made some of my nft "reported for suspicious activity" This means that someone most likely lost them because they did something stupid. How am i suposed to know this? They let some scammer steal someones nft, then let the scammer sell it, then 4 days after the fact freeze the nft. scammer made his money and is gone. the guy that was robbed is out, and now i am a victim of opensea because they have frozen the nft, so i lose my money now too. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. You as a buy have absolutely no way of knowing if an NFT is stolen, none. Opensea will take days, if not weeks to act on a stolen nft, and then freeze it LONG AFTER THE SCAMMER HAS SOLD IT, thus claiming another innocent victim that bought it. The end result = Buyer 1 loses nft, End buyer has nft but cant use it so he loses his money, Scammer keeps his money, opensea keep thier money. ............... these people need blasted in court. MAYBE OPENSEA IS THE SCAMMER. WHY ELSE WOULD THEY SUPPORT THE SCAMMER WITH SUCH A RIDICULOUS RULE.

Bought an NFT 4 months ago and was going to sell it only to find out after I listed it that it was marked suspicious and could not be sold on OS. If the NFT was suspicious then why did opensea allow me to buy it? Why am I being penalized because they dropped the ball. Now I'm out Eth and they have nothing to say. FU opensea!
OpenSea Improvement Points
The website definitely have a lot of bugs and needs improvements to make it more user friendly for anyone who is not very familiar with crypto world. Comparing how easy it is to buy NFTs at NBA Top Shot, OpenSea has a very long way to go. Overall, if you do not know how to switch between networks in MetaMask, it’s better to avoid OpenSea until you learn more about blockchains.
Verification of NFTs is another process that require a lot of work. OpenSea allows a lot of NFTs with copyright issues to be listed and sold. When they discover the copyright issue, OpenSea delist these items but bear no responsibility towards anyone who bought NFT on the marketplace. I believe, OpenSea needs to create a trustworthy escrow system to provide the mid class buyers protection they need against fraud and legal issues.

Stolen Art and Bogus Verification Standards
Let me start off by saying I really wanted to like Opensea. When signing up in April 2021, I was super excited about the prospect of selling NFTs as a way to disrupt the status quo by shining more of a spotlight on struggling artists. This as opposed to conventional art galleries where one often has to "pay to play" or schmooze with the elites just to gain a little bit of exposure.
I had hoped Opensea would embrace democratization of art while promoting and protecting the creators on its platform. Turns out I was severely disappointed after being there over a year with zero sales.
One might wonder at this point if my photos are good enough to sell, and that's a perfectly valid point. Art is of course subjective, and the last thing I want to do is glorify mine. I also realize there is a whole lot of competition with NFTs, and that's fine.
I have however noticed my images being stolen and marketed as NFTs on Opensea. Several times I have had to issue takedown notices thanks to DeviantArt Protect which alerts me to potential violations of my intellectual property. Incidentally I've been a member of DeviantArt for 16 years with 2900+ submitted images, 14800+ watchers and 1.3+ million page views (username boldfrontiers for verification purposes, just like on Opensea for that matter).
Might sound like I'm digressing with these stats, and again I do not intend to inflate my ego. I just want to demonstrate that I have been active as an artist for a while, long enough to see my photos getting ripped off and posted elsewhere God knows how many times without my permission.
To the credit of Opensea, they have removed the offending images every time I issued a takedown notice. That's one plus I guess, and in all fairness the reason why I am awarding two stars instead of one. They do the bare minimum in adhering to DMCA standards when an artist complains about copyright infringement.
But that's as far as it goes, at least in my experience. Once when I issued a takedown notice, I asked if I could be verified in the process. Figuring I had done enough to prove verification by the very act of compelling Opensea to remove my stolen images, and providing them with ample sources in the process. Something they implicitly acknowledged after said images were removed, yet I was met with total silence after asking to be verified.
In other words, it seems Opensea awards verification status almost exclusively to successful artists who have already made a lot of money selling NFTs. In turn feeding into this vicious cycle of continuing to reward those who made it to the top, while continuing to ignore the struggling artists toiling in the shadows.
That said, I have no problem with Opensea awarding separate badges for artists on their platform with a high track record of sales. My core complaint is with the verification system, as any artist able to certify ownership of their own images should be allowed the benefit of a verified creator.
If not, then I fear many struggling artists will continue to get rolled over despite their best efforts to prove authenticity of their own images. To me that betrays the spirit of NFTs and blockchain technology, as Opensea apparently reverts to the old formula of curated art galleries pandering to the elites.
Opensea are a bunch of thief’s they…
Opensea are a bunch of thief’s they take your money and when you buy NFT’s and they go missing they say it must have been a dodgy seller they say they will look into it but they need proof of purchase and when you show proof they say they are de listed and nothing they can do then you show them they are re listed for sale they say there is no record of me buying them and that’s after they earlier said they have been taken back from the seller and offer 2.5% refund of the purchase, I wonder how they know how much to refund if there is no history of the purchase???
don’t trust or buy from them look for a reputable seller not this dodgy company.
'Unable to Fetch'
This is interesting. Not Opensea as a whole, there's nothing interesting about them because they do nothing other than steal and profit off hardworking artists. Artists are great, all of them. Opensea on the other hand allow you to open an account, hassle free, as is with pretty much every website these days. They let you load up a few bits and pieces for a while but after an unknowable amount of time has elapsed (opensea knows of course) you can't any more. You will see a message 'Unable to fetch' with no further explaination, no info on their customer support page, FAQ, twitter or Reddit. No more work is allowed and the account is unusable no matter which phone, browser, PC, network or piece of work you attempt to operate it with. There have been some spurious 'solutions' spread around the internet suggesting the file upload is too large and shouldbe resized, along with a few replies saying that this method worked well, it does not, because this is a lie and no matter what anybody does can resurge an account that has been open too long, shy of taking over the company and correcting this malpractice. Try it and see for yourself.
It’s super easy for people to steal…
It’s super easy for people to steal artists’ work and sell it on here. It just proves the point that NFTs are worthless and predatory, do not support artists, and is based entirely on a fictional notion of “owning digital capital.”
Opensea is a the most popular platform…
Opensea is a the most popular platform for NFT trading, but having said that why cant you stop or be a platform where rugpulls dont happen. Basically opensea has given a platform to people who want to steal other peoples money.
This is not an angry customer review. But think about this, once you buy a NFT why would opensea allow the seller to delist the NFT. This is such a big loop for a scammer to easily scam people. Even if you buy the NFT from the duplicate site, Why cant you hold the NFT.
I felt this is just too easy to be scammed. People talk about how secure Crypto is but, its just too easy for scammers.
Doesnt mean I dont believe in Crypto, I will be still trading nfts and other assets.
But this is for maker of this platforms, keep your rules clean and intensions right. Thats it.
Opensea has nice employees
Opensea has nice employees, but alot of people lose there nft to theft why to much, they tend leave you high and dry, they have known about rugs and people stealing nfts but yet to work on something to lower the risk factor there, as word to others do more research and stay clear of opensea, not much more straightforward then that.
Waste of time
The terms and conditions are often changed retroactively. In my case, this meant that I had submitted the complete questionnaire for verification at the then valid conditions, then after 4 working days came an email that now the guidelines for verification are changed. Regarding my already submitted application no feedback despite email to the support. Actually a case for the lawyer, rather than a place you should entrust your art for sale!
Now i deleted my pictures without selling.
Open sea are scammers
Open sea are scammers. They have never replied all the previous messages I sent to them. My 4 nfts were stolen and re-sold and my coins were stolen via my metamask wallet. Be warned! I urge you not to do anything with open sea. There are thieves. They are criminals. The law of karma must catch up with them and they will end up in bankruptcy. I curse them forever until they return all my money.
