Really bad experience so far. Signed the contract in August 2022 and was given an expected timeline of completion by the end of the year or just stretching into the new year. Now in March 2023 and each time I call the customer service team (who seem very disinterested - don’t blame them when they have to deal with this product) the timeline gets pushed back. Now looking at ‘maybe’ a May 2023 installation. No communication on delays or general updates. No interest in showing goodwill to customers
HELP!!! PLEASE AND THANK YOU.
On December 5th, 2022 we "signed" a contract with Open Infra when Daniela and German (Open Infra employees) came to our home to tell us about their services. On December 6th, 2022 they installed the modem inside the house and connected the orange cable from outside to the inside of the house. On December 7, 2022 they buried the orange cable from the house to the sidewalk. On January 5, 2023, we called the local Open Infra number (800) 262-2730 and talked to someone named British. She indicated that Open Infra was trying to train new people because they had lost a lot of employees??? In addition, she indicated that it would be another 4-8 weeks before they could get to us. Since then, after 10+ weeks from signing the contract, we HAVE not received a single call or update as to when we will finally receive services. We have also called Daniela (the person who came to our home) numerous times and have not received a call back. In addition, we have called the Customer Service number (855) 910-6050 and no one can provide an answer even though each time we have asked the representative to escalate the call to someone that could provide a plausible answer. On January 23, 2023 we emailed customer service and have not received and answer that address our concern or provided a completion date....
Great service, really showed the value of fibre coming to my area. We were previously with Virgin however to join open infra was a no brainer
Live in an area where BT owns all the lines and provided a max speed of 30Mbps download, 5Mbps upload for the past decade. Open Infra came and installed 950Mbps download and upload.
Huge thanks to Zak who went out of his way to get us set up as soon as possible and explained everything easily.
I must admit when they first knocked on my door I ignored them just like the rest of door to door salesman. I started looking into them and got a hold of Kristoffer, the sales rep working our area in Ponder, Tx. He went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and was honest about not knowing something (I was asking very technical questions) and followed up with me once he was able to get an answer. During the installation of the fiber in the neighborhood and my yard everyone I had an interaction was friendly. Beginning to end this was quite a site to see Open Infra come in, build out our Fiber network in the neighborhood and they use quality equipment in your home. I've worked in the IT field for 17 years and this is by far some of the most advanced home internet, both hardware and software, I have seen. My family in larger cities in the DFW area cannot come close to price or speeds being offered. Top to bottom after having my connection for two days, and having gone from DSL 25Mb down and 2MB up for the last 8 years to my 1GB up and down on Open Infra, we have finally entered the 21st Century. This company goes above and beyond to make things right. Give them a serious look if you see them coming to your neighborhood.
Best ever company
Good service
The beast of the beast in internet
From the initial letter to final install was less that 1 year. That's really amazing in the UK market. Now not only do I have a 900mb service that works at light speed but also had the pleasure of dealing with the UK based OI team who have been super helpful for the last year.
The install of both the ONT and actual cable was really easy, great staff who were quick and tidy.
Shout out to Tobias and Neal!

This is "GAME" changer! I have two teenage boys who love gaming. Our cable internet would crash constantly when both of my sons connected for online gaming.
The wait from the equipment installation to having service was very long. We were concerned because the wait and contacted Kevin (the sales rep.) and he was able to give us information regarding the service status process.
Now that we have fiber internet, we can all enjoy the internet at the same time. Mama needs her "Me" time! lol
It took them awhile to get it installed in Springhill but we still have not payed out a penny yet. We just got service and speeds are amazing. So glad we waited it out
Got my connection finally with great help by Zak who went out of his way helping me to set up the router and Nest settings changed.

Really happy so far. The guys doing the installation could not be more helpful. Special thanks to Tobias who has gone above and beyond, and been available to help with any teething issues or questions. Speeds are great as well

Great service. Explained how optic fibre works and how we will benefit from it. Extremely happy with the speed of my internet.

Phillip from Open Infra did great job of explaining the service perks etc. and following through to make sure that it was properly hooked up and working well! We are so happy we chose to go with open infra and recommend it to anyone! It’s way faster and for a better price!
Terrible. Endlessly harassed at the start of the year to sign up. "Everyone else has signed up... you will miss out". After 6 months, they installed an empty box in the garage (took 4 engineers in attendence to install one small box on the wall).
Since then, missed deadline after deadline, with no updates.
9 months on from initial contact, and we are still waiting to go live (was supposed to be finished in this area late Spring/Early Summer - it is now Winter!)

Terrible project management, awful customer service and communication.
UK Customer, signed up for fibre, they constantly miss every indicative delivery timeframe, never provide any updates and ignore requests to their customer 'no service' line.
We've been waiting 6 months and no sign of any hope on the horizon.,

Great company and work. Friendly staff and attentive. Take caution of negative reviews - there is a lot which can go wrong when trying to install fibre to individual households. Be patient and be grateful co's like OpenInfra exist to undertake the work nobody else will.
Source: London UK, new customer recently brought online at a solid 500mbs. Waited 4.5 months after anticipated connection date owing to local infrastructure network 'blockages'. But we got there.
NOTE: added benefit is that some pavements end up being re-laid because of the work undertaken. So you get new fibre and new paving stones along your road.

The wifi is absolutely horrible!!! I'm supposed to get at least 500mbps for wifi speed and I get 70mbps at the most. Every time I call starlight, they said they are waiting on open infra to take care if it. They finally came out yesterday and replaced a wire, but left before I could show them that replacing the wire did not fix my wifi issue. They told me that if I'm on a vpn, the wifi would be slower, but when I was with suddenlink, I never had these issues. I work from home, so have to use a vpn. My google meets video never works, and we are supposed to be on video during our meetings. If I could get out of this year-long contract and go back to suddenlink I would in a heartbeat.
They rang my bell months ago and I signed up for them to install cable in my area now I'm finding out that some neighbors are getting their boxes installed in their house and I have not I was one of the first people to sign to get them in my neighborhood
They were very professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns.
