I would give 0-stars if it was possible.
I have been a hard core OnePlus customer for years. I owned phones models 5T, 6, 8 Pro, 10 Pro and now a 12R. I also own a Watch 2 and some buds 2 Pro.
The buds were a gift from my wife purchased new from an Amazon.ca seller. I had major technical problems with them so I contacted OnePlus service where I learned that, unless you purchased a OnePlus product directly from THEIR WEBSITE they will not honor warranty. You wouldn't see Apple or Google acting like that.
Next, their customer "support" is offline. They ignore you, plain and simple. They don't care about you.
Then you go on the OnePlus forums. There you are forbidden to express any kind of unsatisfaction as a legion of 16 years old "moderators" use all kind of lies against their " Terms & Conditions" to delete your posts, change your nickname and ban your access. Basically all that is allowed to be said on their forum should praise OnePlus or be of no interest to.them at all.
So basically, they have good products and a great looking red box. But beware of buying it from elsewhere then on their own site or you'll be completely ignored once things start going wrong.
UPDATE AFTER ONEPLUS REPLY
The one thing OnePlus is highly (very highly) responsive on is its reputation. When they control the environment in which they are being criticized, they simply get their little "moderators" (soldiers, guardians, call them whatever) to delete your comments and make sure you will no longer express any bad things about them by banning you. When they don't control, they send bodug open-hand offers like that. They commit to nothing, they offer nothing. They just want to show how cooperative, empathic and open-minded they are. But I've walked down that trail countless times and it leads nowhere. They do not know what customer care is. Stay away, trust me. One time or another they will dissapoint you.

Really bad experience. Trying to get my phone fixed for the last 3 months and after exchanging 50 emails I got my phone back for the third time with another problem this time. I am very frustrated and even though I believe that one plus 12 is a good phone I will never buy one plus again.

Purchased oneplus pad 3, site was easy to navigate. Order was packaged well and delivery was ahead of schedule. Everything works as advertised.

Green line on phone, which is a COMMON fault with their screens. OP support previously mentioned they have lifetime warranty on screen issues like these
Once sent to repairs, they now conveniently claim they no longer provide 'lifetime' warranty on the screens
Absolute scam, known screen issue, no recalls or anything to uphold their responsibility. A brand to avoid, dishonest practices

Online buying of product is not possible due to out of stock message and having to return to the Shopping Cart. The Online support (Chat) is unable to help and disconnects the chat (within a minute of not responding).

I made the mistake of trading in my phone.
It gets sent to Mondo Affari in Italy who offer you a lower value then charge you 27 euros to get your phone back.
Oneplus will say its nothing to do with them but it is.
If you buy anything from Oneplus do not use the trade in con.

I bought a new oneplus bullet z3 and the Z2 came

Maybe good phones, but the worst customer attention. Broken links, non-human chats, bad return policy, and DHL as delivery service (that means your product will be broken)

I was thinking about ordering the oneplus 15 and pad 3. after reading all the reviews I do not think I will anymore and will simply wait for the samsung S26 Ultra and possibly a samsung tablet. I have always been a samsung customer and then came across the oneplus 15. Never dealt with them before but the reviews are not great. Better to stick to an established market leader and and with what you know.

I am extremely disappointed with OnePlus as a brand. My OnePlus9 suddenly developed a green line on the display without any fall, damage, or misuse. This is a well-known issue affecting many OnePlus models globally, and yet the support I received was completely unhelpful.
When I reached out for assistance, I was told that the only way to get a free screen replacement is if the phone was purchased directly from the OnePlus official store. This is unreasonable and honestly unfair. OnePlus distributes its devices to resellers worldwide, and customers who buy through those channels should be entitled to the same level of support—especially for a hardware defect that appears spontaneously.
It’s extremely disappointing that a brand that once prided itself on customer care is refusing to stand behind its own product unless it was purchased from a specific storefront. This policy creates a poor experience for loyal customers and shows a lack of accountability for known hardware issues.
I expected much better from OnePlus, and this experience has made me seriously reconsider ever buying or recommending their products again.

I ordered next business day delivery of a OnePlus 15. The package is now 5 days late. OnePlus support just repeatedly tells me to contact DPD. Whenever I contact DPD, DPD tells me the package will arrive today (the day I call them). They also give me a time for when it will be delivered, which always happens to be the time where DPD customer support stops for the day. The next day I tell them nobody contacted me and nothing happened, they apologize and repeat the same thing. OnePlus support again tells me to manage their subcontracter for them.
By far the worst customer support experience I have ever had, and of course I still don't have my phone, I don't think I ever will recieve it.

The phones are fine, in fact they're great, the company however is fraudulent.
I paid an advance deposit for the OP15 which gives me a device discount and discount on additional items. Did they give this discount? Nope it was a scam, they showed a confirmation on screen of the discounted price but when I went to make a payment on the balance they tried to charge hundreds of pounds more without the discount the deposit earned me.
Customer service was useless claiming I had the discount but screenshots from my account show this is nothing but a lie. Also email confirmation took 7 hours to come through, likely so that people in a rush wouldn't see they had been overcharged. I am sorry but this behaviour is nothing short of illegal.
Waiting for a refund but no idea of the timescale as there email confirmations don't come through on time and they don't answer the phone. I love the devices but this company has recently started to behave like one big scam.
Stay clear of this company.
---------
UPDATE
They still won't admit there mistakes, instead trying to blame me saying the discount was applied as a whole on the checkout page and that I missed it.
That may have been how they planned it but it is categorically not true. That did not happen, no discount appeared as indicated in the screenshots I sent them.
I stand by my previous statement.
Stay well clear of this company. They are yet to show any information indicating there behaviour has been anything other than deliberately fraudulent.
They claim I can now go in and make a purchase with the discount but they couldn't get it right before, there is no reason for me to believe they are able to get it right this time either.
I have asked for this case to be escalated, I fully believe they will just sweep it under the carpet and hope it goes away.
Escalate this case now and provide a telephone number and contact name for a senior manager so that I can take this complaint further. I know you read these reviews because you responded before. You have my contact details so email me the information that I have requested above instead of trying to blame/insult your loyal customers.
---------
They have cost me time and money, they messed up and cannot even give a basic apology, now I dared to challenge them they seem too scared to respond. Debating sending everything that I have to the police to see if I can have them investigated.
A truly fraudulent, utterly disgusting company with atrocious service throughout.
A customer-orientated company they say in there response here. That's a joke if ever I heard one
YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED.

Brand new OnePlus nord 5 (a week old) took a small fall and the back already shattered. Had to pay €63 for a repair that was done badly (the back started coming off again after one day). Asked support for help, sent them all the photos they wanted… and then they basically ignored me. Really disappointed in both the phone quality and the customer service. Im never going to by any of their products anymore and would tell the same story to people I know.

I’ve been a long-time OnePlus user, owning the OnePlus 6T, 8, and 8T — all of which were great phones overall, aside from the occasional issue with the fingerprint reader. The software used to be the best part of the OnePlus experience — simple, clean, fast, and close to stock Android.
But after the OxygenOS 13 update, everything changed for the worse. It now looks and feels just like ColorOS, completely losing that unique OnePlus identity that made the brand stand out in the first place. The new interface is cluttered, overcomplicated, and nothing like the classic OxygenOS we all loved.
What’s worse, my OnePlus 8T became extremely sluggish and slow after the update. I even did a full factory reset to try to fix the problem, but it made absolutely no difference. The smooth performance that OnePlus was known for is completely gone.
I honestly think the OxygenOS 13 update was designed to push consumers into buying newer OnePlus models. I held onto my 8T for as long as I could, but eventually switched — and thankfully, my new phone is miles better. I don’t care about flashy specs or fast charging; for me, it’s all about the software experience and how smooth it runs. Sadly, OnePlus has lost what made it special.
On top of that, every time I’ve contacted OnePlus customer service about issues with their phones, I’ve found them to be rude, blunt, and unprofessional. It’s clear OnePlus puts more effort into their hardware than they do into helping their customers. Their support team seriously needs to improve.
OnePlus used to care about its loyal customers — the people who believed in the brand from the beginning. Now it feels like they’ve completely forgotten about us.

Worst company ever. I was first told the repair would be done under warranty as it is a software fault and then waited 2 months without a phone and then they told me it is not in warranty and they will charge 600+ pounds.

I liked the brand, I've had the Oneplus 1, 3, 3t, 6, 6t, 8, 13 and I just bought the pad 3 which I also like. For some reason I didn't get the free pen and I have to wait 15 days before being able to start the process of getting it. I explained I want to use the tablet with pen without waiting too long, but there is nothing they can do even after esacakriin. But I was offered a 10 dollar coupon... I ended up paying 110 dollars for the stylo 2, I will return it and request the free one in due time, all very unnecessary and wasteful. I've never had a customer service not being able to help on this level, even after a customer for 10 years or so. I will honestly say, I will never buy any phone or tablet again, that's how annoyed I am.
I used to be a huge fan but I will never buy a OnePlus again... I bought a OnePlus but 3 weeks later my storage was full with 90% of it being system storage that I couldn't do anything about. Customer support asked me to do a factory reset so I did, knowing the problem would resurface. 3 weeks later - same problem. They tried a remote session which couldn't fix the problem so I sent the phone in for repair. Had the repaired phone for about 1 month when the problem arose for the 3rd time. Sent it in for repair again. Had this repaired phone for about 6 weeks and the problem arose for the 4th time. I sent it in for repair/replacement. They couldn't repair it so they sent me a brand new device. Had this brand new phone for about 5 weeks and the problem came back FOR A 5TH TIME. Their customer service is terrible. Emailing, calling or live chat - it doesn't matter. It takes ages for them to get back to you. It would typically be a few days between emails so I was without a phone for a week after which they had me send it in for 'repair' so I was without my phone for another week. They sent my case to the 'escalation support'. They asked for a few days to look into it. Didn't hear from them. I called. They asked me to wait a day or two to hear from them. The next day they contacted me only to ask me to wait another 3-5 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor. They were 'busy' but would call me back in an hour or two. I never got a call back. Eventually they sent me a second replacement device (so my third device). Guess what... same issue. 9 months after I bought the phone I still had no fix and had to give up and bought a Pixel. Terrible customer service. Rather than admit that they didn't have a fix and send me a replacement device that was a newer model (that didn't have the problem) or issue me a refund they just refused. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying away from OnePlus.
