Absolutely agree with all the other reviews, however I was quick enough to involve my Credit Card Company and they refunded me on receipt of my evidence and they are pursuing the issue with Old Monarchy so at least I have my money back. Don't let these people win. It's a major scam.

for the price I paid, I would expect genuine leather. I could have got a similar pair for about half the price.

looks ok, fit my feet ok, time will tell how durable they are.

Send through incredibly low-quality clothes. When I requested a refund and return, they would not provide the address. They then started negotiating refunds starting at 10% of the purchase value as a refund. 100% scam. Advertised as being in the Netherlands but nothing to do with it. SERIOUSLY LOW QUALITY. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Agree with everyone else. They refuse to accept returns and say returns are to Asia and too expensive. Trying to go for the sympathy vote that they're a small company. Products are low quality, rubbish, no tags, nothing. Trying to refuse my refund whoch is looking like theft.

Avoid!! The deliveries are late, the quality is an absolute joke and the returns address on the website is wrong. When addressing all of the above with them you are met with an AI e-mail response every time and no possible option to resolve.

I so wish I had looked on here first. I have received a pair of sandals that bear no resemblance to the ones I looked at. These are dreadful and worth the postage!
I am so cross with myself, my husband said they wouldn't look like the picture that they would cheap Chinese knock offs and he is absolutely right.
Please really don't bother with Old Monarchy at all.

Avoid this company at all costs, they advertise a 30 day return, but on trying to return shoes that were too tight, they tried everything from another pair which would not have been any different, to a 10% 30% and finally a 50% refund which I finally accepted on realising I was not going to get all my money back

It is a scam. Very low quality items with no tags no logos. Wrong sizes, worse customer service. After two weeks of argument they finally gave me some Chinese address to return.

Never ever at any cost buy from them. I thought prices are so high so they must have gotten some nice cloths but all in vein.

Please please please do not purchase any of their items. I bought shorts advertised as cotton, made from polyester and acrylic. I bought a shirt advertised as linen, I received cotton blend. I've requested a refund, only offering 10%, just avoid at all costs.

The shoes that arrived looked nothing like those advertised. They came in a plastic bag, with glue holding them together.
It clearly states easy 30 day refund on the website, which is a complete lie. I've been going back and forth for several days, and they are refusing to give me more than 45% of my money back.

These guys won't refund your money - they want you to keep their cheap and shoddy clothes (sent direct from China) and want you to accept a 10% refund! Type their website into AI, and you will get a list of all the scams they run.
Their main contact is Loek Vergouwe - he is worth doing an AI search on too!

This website is a scam. I brought a pair of shoes when it arrived it didn’t even look like the one i ordered and it was low quality. You can tell that it’s from china.

Definitely should have read the reviews. Ordered sandals that were poor quality and too small. Tried to return, given the same spiel as others….warehouse closed, have a discount etc. have contacted my bank in the hope of getting a refund. These are items you can purchase on Ali express, SHEIN etc at a much lower price. Don’t waste your money

This is a total scam so my bank gave me my money back. Old Monarchy did not dispute it because they are scammers. You should all ask your bank for a charge back.

It's just a con. I waited about three weeks for my shirt to come. It's nothing like the picture on the site. It's obvious now that this was from China, a bit of a scam, and so not worth returning and expecting money back. I'm chalking it up to experience. When ordering online, in future I'll make sure I check out the website better. It all looked high end, I should have smelt a rat with the big sales reductions, even the name maybe, OldMonarchy. It suggests high end stuff, it looks like it on the website, but I tell you, what I received in the post, is not!

If I could leave no stars I would. Cheap and nasty material. Item looks nothing like the photo. Also I didn’t realise these shipped from China.. I won’t even attempt to return them. PLEASE learn from my experience and DO NOT buy from this company.

AVOID!!!Scam! -Clothes look completely different from website and really badly made with really awful quality. Being refused a return for a full refund despite clothing being unworn and in original packaging and website claims to give you a return label for a full refund.

Would give a 0 if I could, writing on behalf of my mum. She ordered 2 pairs of sandals at around £30 each, wanted to return and apparently the 'return warehouse is closed' and it would cost too much to send back to Asia. After emailing back and forth and being offered 10% 20% 30% and 40% refund of the total cost I've advised her to contact the bank (luckily she paid by credit card). Website looks legit and high end but items are clearly cheaply made and the quality is extremely subpar for the price paid - Shein or Temu would be better quality. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
