Criminal

We hired out our house in Sweden for two years with Novosol. It was ok until people stopped cleaning the house after their stay. They left food in the compost without compost bags. We decided we had had enough and wanted no more bookings from Novosol. They demanded 4500 Euro as we had not cancelled in June. We refused to pay so they still advertise our home for 2026 even though we refuse to open our home. They are demanding money and threatening us, and taking money for new bookings they have no house for.

No support what so ever to change our accommodation. Accommodation was not safe and secure and did not meet description provided. Still in dispute with Novasol who claim to be there to help and support you and provide you with a good holiday experience.
“ They consistently provide great experiences for their guests.”
Property still remains on Vbro website for rental with Novasol as premier host.

We booked a villa with Novosol they cancelled it the week before and offered us another villa the week before our trip. It was accept the villa or cancel the holiday. These were the problems with the villa:

1. Dirty (brown) water coming from the taps (we have images) which made 3/4 children physically sick.
2. Cockroaches in the bedrooms (we have images)
3. Tiny stained thin towels
4. Obsolete electricals (tape cassette player, DVD player and very old non smart tv)
5. Terrible bathrooms with dirty grouting and cellotape over the bath plug, a bidet that leaked and smelt badly
6. Bad drainage where we had to empty sanitary bins daily ourselves.
7. Infestation of flies, ineffective mosquito nets
8. Extremely uncomfortable beds resulting in poor quality sleep for all guests each night, hard pillows and very old bedding.
9. Dated old and worn furniture and fixtures.
10. Tiny kitchen lacking in equipment to serve 8 people and poor quality cooking utensils and pots.
11. 3 bedrooms only - with one bed in the living room divided by curtains.

Don’t use them they are scammers.

Would NOT recommend!!!

We rented an Apartment hosted by Novosol in Sardinia that upon arrival was in such a bad shape that we immidiately called to customer service with pictures of a broken fridge where the door fell of when we opened (we had just bought food and beverage for 300 euros) broken kitchen floor tiles that could cut your feet, missing kitchen amneties, single use cutlery, leaking pots, dead insects on the floor etc. and requested to find another apartment. They wanted to fix the fridge door that had fallen of and sent a technician that did a terrible job, and it fell of right after he had left. The hinges were rusty and bend and the door didn’t seal, leaking water on the floor. Anyway. Floor tiles still broken, kitchen amneties and fridge still useless.... Back and forth, we spent 2 days of our 7 day trip on this and threw most of our food out.
On the phone, one employee were kind and solution oriented and said that we could book another place for the remaining 5 days, for a value of 500 DKK/person/day - which we then did and requested an email verifying this promise/deal.
They then said that they had sent it and it might have gotten lost somewhere, so she would sent it again. 4 hours later still no e-mail. We called again for the 12th time and now she had given the case to another employee that now had spoken to her boss and they could only give us one day on a hotel while they fixed the problem.
We had already spent time on fixing only one of problems AND already booked the other place, which they now denied ever having promised.
And now two weeks later and countless mails sent, still no answer.
I would NOT recommend Novosol

Avoid Novosol!

We rented Villa Reic in a village called Kucine, near Split.
Despite the description, there was not aircon through the property. In 40 degree heat, the property was very hot and we lost a lot of sleep. The upstairs fan was slow and barely moved the air. My daughter therfore had to sleep on the sofa in the lounge with her friend sleeping on a mattress on the floor because of the heat upstairs. On the second day a bedroom window fell off its hinges and nearly injured one of our children. We complained to the owners who said that it was a "Mediterranean window" and being British we weren't used to it. In addition, the architrave in the door frame fell and hit my son as he exited his bedroom.

Contrary to pictures, the pool was made with pebble dash and badly cracked in places. It was also small and not suitable for swimming because of the sloped sides. We all sustained cuts on hands and feet from the abrasive stones.
We complained to our Novosol rep and she shrugged off our complaints and refused to acknowledge them, saying that most customers were "fascinated by the pool".
