The stitching do not hold
The stitching holding the sole together came undone within two months; as I liked the style, I bought another pair, but the same thing happened. For the price, stitching that doesn’t hold up is very disappointing. This aspect needs to be improved.
This company is a fraud
This company is a fraud. I ordered a product, I did not fit well. I returned the item according to all the instructions to UPS. The system shows I handed it in, but it seems the package got lost somewhere. They are now telling ME to chase UPS and ignoring my e-mails. Shame.

Stay away from this shop
Stay away from this shop. Products seem high end, but are actually highly overpriced low quality crap. Very fragile fabric, I had material letting loose within 1 day of wearing. Emailed customer service three times, they never replied.
Product never arrived, no customer service action
The business accepted my order last July, and the product has never shipped. Most of my emails to them go unanswered, and when finally i do get an answer from Gustaf, he says he will respond shortly then goes dark. I have asked my bank to charge back the charge as after 8 months waiting I am over it
non-competitive
I placed my order in November and received the wrong shoes in January. I only received the return label after sending several emails shortly before the deadline. The responses were always very friendly, but at the end of the day, that didn't help me. I'm still waiting for the credit note and will go with the payment provider to finally finish the case.

Ordered shoes
Ordered shoes, no confirmation of purchase but $ taken from credit card. Had to file a claim with PayPal to get a response. Received response days later saying they had supply issues and said shoes would ship in late Nov. Early Dec - no shipping confirmation, no response to query. Submitted updated claim to Paypal, and shortly after I received email saying my order was cancelled. 7 days later no refund, and received an email that shoes were shipping a in couple of days, despite the order being cancelled. Absolutely terrible and incompetent customer service.
Scam company - terrible experience
I've ordered shoes for which sizing is totally wrong. On their webpage they say shoe size is 30,5cm and in reality it is 29 cm. To be worst, I am trying to reach them for the last 12 days via chat, mail and instagram and I got no reply anywhere. Now I need to return the item and pay 20 eur for shipping + 12.5 eur for shipping to me, which means they stole me 32 eur + my time. Stay away from this company.

Six month after sending the boots back (way too small compare to market) and multiple emails, no refund! And no more communication. Looks like a pure theft. Awful, to be avoided and quality wasn't looking good anyway. I usually support small business but quality and service can't be an excuse anymore. So tired of these online crooks... I should have red the comments first...

Be extremely careful with this company! I refunded shoes, and they 1) charge you a massive amount for the shipping back to Sweden, but 2) and this is the worst part, they didn't refund me in 2 months. They send a mail that their warehouse got the shoes and then probably hope that you'll just forget about the refund. Since I didn't get any refund, I reached out and since today (another two weeks after I reached out 3 times) no refund. Opened a PayPal dispute for that, lets see. But absolutely bad experience! Also the shoes didn't seem worth the 200+ Euro. It's just linen, you know... not cashmere.

Customer Support or communication
As an existing customer of North-89, I had previously had good experiences with quality, delivery and customer support. In the last year, the company seems to have changed something in the material or manufacturing process and possibly also a change in staff. They are ignoring emails to info address and not answering the Online Chat function from the website. I recently ordered the Court Linen Nature, expecting this to be shipped on 14th July, which was the ship date according to the website. No information to date and even with expedited shipping, the goods will not reach me before I leave; although I ordered in plenty of time with their website stating that orders are shipped within 48 hours. Terrible experience.
Update: after receiving no answer from online chat or email, I DM‘d on Instagram and the Founder found a solution for me.
Adjusted my rating accordingly.
Returns issues, horrible customer service
Ordered the Court Natural Linen. The sneakers look well built. Looks are good. Happy with the overall product. However, unfortunately the insole is smaller than stated on the website. Emailing (twice, over the course of about 2 weeks, namely since June 18th) to resolve the issue has led to 0 response by North-89.
Update: got a response by them shortly after posting the review. However, after asking whether they would wave the returns costs of EUR 20 as I need to return due to error on their side, they simply have not responded again for weeks. Furthermore, upon trying to using their returns site it gave me an error message. Contacting them is a nightmare; reduced the review to 1 star as a result.
